Why do restaurants hire hostesses who aren t friendly.? Two hostesses were working even though the place wasn t busy. Neither one of them had much personality and neither one of them greeted us. Both were Hispanic ladies. One was younger, the other a bit older. All we got was how many ? and then we were hurried to a table. No smile, no greeting I just don t get it. Very disappointed. My wife and I almost got up right then and there and left but then our server came over and she was very friendly. She convinced us to stay and try the food. Service was good. Food was OK, but the overall ambience was terrible. Hostesss set the mood for the entire dining experience and the ones that work here fell short. They should probably both be working outside of the public eye Not worth it. We won t be returning.

The chips and salsa were very delicious. My kids loved the tortillas as well. However, I did not appreciate the hostess or manager hovering over our table and wiping behind my children and picking up their drinks from behind them without asking if it was ok to do so. I felt it was very rude and it made me and the rest of the table uncomfortable. I understand toddlers are messy. But please ask me first if its ok before wiping up after my child. I cleaned after them and even wiped down the chairs when we were done. Other than that, the waiter was awesome and I will come again for food alone. Maybe next time without children because children dont seem to feel welcome.

This is the best place for really good Mexican food and great service. Some of the loud patrons kill the atmosphere but doesnt take away from the food. Excellent, excellent, excellent! Parking: Huge parking lot with plenty of parking and handicap spots. Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy access for wheelchair customers.

I m a vegetarian and gluten-free but married to a dairy sensitive carnivore. We sometimes struggle to find places while traveling. This Mexican restaurant is far superior to others (even those chains or higher rated). The food is way better than Papacitas! I had the mushrooms and guacamole appetizer and then got some tortillas and rice to make my own yummy spin on tacos. Friendly service and nice patio. Tons of options. If you re a drinker, good margarita deals on weekdays. 10/10

Ive been a huge fan of Posados for 10 years or more, and always eat at the Longview location while in town. (The Lindale location is awesome as well) I cant be specific about what I like most because Ive simply never gotten a bad meal there. Lets begin with the drinks I went with two adults including myself and three children the server serve my 5-year-old son a regular cup which ended up spilling and then came back with one that had lid wich she should have done the first time left all the soaked napkins on the table when we finally got our food over 40 minutes after ordering the plates were piping hot which means the food was not fresh the food was disgusting and when we were served our plates she did not take the soaked napkins and Chip,&salsa bowls I had to ask her for new napkins and refills the whole time we were eating everything dirty was on the table and at the very end she wanted to be sarcastic after she handed us back our card and took our money she asked if I would like for her to move any of that out of our way and I told her no it was too late for that call the owner to complain today he did not seem to care and told me that the food came straight out of the oven I know it was not fresh ghetto trash is what this establishment is ruined my Easter

I would give 5 stars because we usually love it, the last 2 times we came we got a waitress named Paula W. I believe. Each time we have her it takes 30 minutes to get drink orders in, she ll look at our table and walk away without checking on us ( the rest of the wait staff are great and friendly). Went to Posados hoping the menu wasnt a carbon copy of most Tex Mex menus. I was not disappointed. They have a good variety of choices and the food looked delicious. I got a burrito with beef fajitas, covered in green sauce, rice and beans. My daughter had a combination with a chili relleno, beef taco, and cheese enchilada. The food had flavor but the kitchen must have had issues. My daughters enchilada was cold. She literally picked the cheese up like a little Cheez-it. She said her relleno was delicious. My burrito was good but I could count the fajitas on one hand. They had a green chili sauce that was amazing. Cant say much about the service because we hardly saw our server. I didnt hate Posados and like all my reviews I always give restaurants another shot.

Our Waitress Vee is Beautiful inside and out. She Had Multiple jobs to do but never let one customer go unnoticed. She took care of everything and everyone. Yesterday was horrible. Waited over 30 minutes on waitress to take our drink order. Then it seemed like forever for her to come back with our drinks and to take our food order. Asked for napkins 4 times then the manager finally walked by our table and we stopped him to ask for napkins. He immediately brought them. The waitress was extremely rude and had a attitude. There was a few people in the restaurant but not a whole bunch. We had to wave another waitress down to refill our drinks. Then it took her forever to bring us our food. We did nothing to the waitress for her to be as rude as she was to us. Asked for to go boxes in which it took her 20 minutes to bring them. If we had not wanted Mexican food so bad we would have left. Not sure If we will be back. Spent $ 60 on the food and didnt even get to eat it . When she was to bring the food out. She stopped over by where they do the tortillas and walked off but left our food there. Had to ask the manager to get her to bring it before it got cold. We just got to go boxes and she was so rude that we didnt even eat it all. When she saw we were leaving she brought us our ticket and it was tip time. She changed her attitude. We did tip but not her we gave the manager the tip and asked him to split it between himself and the other waitress that we had waved over and she helped us a couple times. First time there. Our part was of 20 people. Only 1 waitress for our party group. She did her darnest to help everyone and not one person had a complaint about her. I was shocked that no one helped her out. She got the best tip today. She earned it. The food was great. I will return again.
