For me, Taco Cabana has never been on my radar. That all changed one day when we stopped there for breakfast. I ordered the Ala Mexicana plate and by far was the best I have ever had. The manager grilled me a whole jalapeno, which was awesome. The whole team went above and beyond to take care of us (unlike other resturauants in town), and I really appreciate the service. I have been back for lunch and the supreme nachos are awesome. I will go back and continue to tell eveyone about the EXCELLENT service you can get here!!! BTW the flour tortillas are so tender!! I cannot say enough positive about this place.

Okay, hi. Im at the taco cabana eating my lunch. I had the kickin Grande nachos and I have a pizza. Double crunch taco pizza. The service was excellent. The people always nice to serve me. I come here, maybe 3 or 4 times a week, and its just awesome. Thank you, and thank you for the workers. And the manager.

My husband decided to try Taco Cabana in Longview & we were amazed with the service they provided. The staff was amazing and so sweet, especially the drive thru employee whose name I forgot to ask for. This food was delicious and the salsas were just as bomb as described. We are getting ready to move to this area, and I am relieved to know that there is a Taco Cabana here. I used to live in San Antonio, and I can remember the very first Taco Cabana. It was fantastic then and they are fantastic now. We have since eaten at this location, and they have NOT disappointed! They are the GOAT!

When Taco Cabana locations were shutting down, we were so scared that they were going to shut down this location too. They, thankfully, didn t. This location is probably one of the best Taco Cabana locations that I ve been to. The food is always good and the service is better! The restaurant itself is always clean and they are open later than some other places (just not as late as others, lol). We look forward to coming here every time and, even though we live a hour away, we are always willing to make the drive. I would very HIGHLY recommend this location.

Update 05/03: Decided to try this place again for some breakfast tacos. 30 minutes later and my teeth still hurt from all the salt on the potato s. Y all need to chill. Original: Was nice to see this place back open. Ordered three fajita tacos and some nachos. Tacos were so salty it was crazy, and I ve read that now in other comment so something going on there. Nacho chips were inedibly hard, like break your tooth hard. This place needs a 180 on management and quality control ASAP or it ll end up closed like the last one.

The food tasted fine. The feeling at the restaurant was weird. I ordered from the app for curbside, but my food was never brought out. When I went in to check on it, the workers seemed disoriented about general existence, and they asked suspiciously for proof that the order was mine. I wouldnt mind that, but the way they asked felt really odd. When I did get my food, it was so hot that the Styrofoam container was melted and deformed. I couldnt eat it for at least 30 minutes. I appreciate hot food, but I dont anticipate fast food to be so dangerously hot when I receive it. Overall creepy environment, but the food tasted fine about an hour after placing the order.

I went to taco cabana and some large woman took my order and she had no bra on with a bad smell I almost vomited it was that bad the whole lobby had a smell she wasn t even in dress code she had some flip flops on with dirty feet and it stink and after she took my order she went out to the patio and proceeded to smoke cigarettes when she back in to hand me my order she didn t even wash her hands I am so disappointed hygiene is a MUST I WONT BE BACK

Found out Taco Cabana was open again on Hwy loop 281 in front of the Home Depot in Longview. I didnt realize the they had reopened. I got their Carne Asada Taco Plate and it was delicious. I always like their Salsa Ranch sauce. They dont have their Salsa Bar anymore because of COVID Im told. I hope they bring it back. It would be a nice addition. The staff is nice and manager I met was pleasant and helpful. I didnt see many cars in front the first time, so Im not sure that people are aware that they are open for business. Yesterday I had some time in the morning and I stopped by for breakfast. I noticed that they now have a large We are open Banner in the front. I also saw a couple more cars there since my last visit. This time I had a Breakfast Cabana Bowl with Chorizo, eggs and potatoes in a fried flour tortilla bowl. It was very good. The Tortilla Bowl was a nice bread replacement and the bowl was filling. I hope the community will support them. Oh by the way they have Margaritas if you want them.

We ordered from here for the first time I ordered 2 sets of the street tacos and 2 of them had 2 peices of meat!!! And the other 4 made 2 ok street tacos! The meat had a freezer burnt flavor and thats it no other flavor couldnt even taste the Cilantro. My husband ordered the burrito and it had hardly any meat his steak burrito turned ot to be a rice burrito for the cost of steak! Also its bad when I say tacobell is better and puts more meat on there food oh and we ordered 3 Pico with it we only got one! I will never order from here again!!!

Edit: After reading some of these reviews I have to say, some of your Mothers didnt teach you right! Some of the stuff in your so-called complaints arent even possible for this restaurant. So please in the futures if youre going to lie please at least do a little research first to make sure your lie is even a possibility. Friendly employees, great customer service, delicious food. Vegetarian options: They have the beyond meat which can be added to most of the food choices. Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free option (corn tortillas), vegetarian option (beyond beef) and thats about it. Parking: Lots of parking. Kid-friendliness: Not really geared towards kids. They offer two kids meals but thats really the only kid friendly thing. Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking, wheelchair accessible tables with one table dedicated to wheelchairs, large bathroom to fiir a wheelchair.

What a disappointment.... I was so excited to eat at Taco Cabana today just to regret spending 23.00. First no one at the counter and finely a manager came out as we were walking out the door . I order fejita taco just for the meat to be cut wrong and so tuff I took it back and had to almost yell into the kitchen area to see the same manager at the drive window on his phone when I got his attention and told him it was tuff and cut wrong he did bring two more tacos out and the meat was cut right but way dry and burnt. My brother ordered the Spicy Flouta ( what ever its called ) and they looked like they had been cooked in old grease. The guacamole had a twang to it. The rice I ordered was dry and hard. So ya a waist of money.

The service is just terrible here. Weve come here quite a few times and only about 1 out of 10 times have they actually gotten our order correct. We eat inside just because we know theyre gonna mess it up. Luckily, the food and prices are decent, so that has kept us coming back, not sure how much longer thats gonna last though.

Wish we had one in Arkansas, we went three times during one visit to Longview. The staff during this visit was very nice, brought our food out to our table and went above and beyond for our kid with food allergies.

They re back! I couldn t be happier that we finally have Taco Cabana back in Longview. The food is great, the restaurant is clean, the service is fast, and the staff always makes you feel welcome. Angelica has taken care of us several times in the past and she never disappoints!

I know that people love this place. We tried it for the first time and will never eat here again. The first thing is all our queso, including our large order of it, tastes like someone has opened a container of salt and poured it in. It was the saltiest queso I have ever had. No one in the family could eat it, not even the one of who eats everything. The crispy tacos were far from crispy and all the food was bland. A huge disappointment for us after everyone hyped it up so much. Also two of us for sick from it. Thinking maybe from the salty queso.

Big fan of taco cabana but for some reason this place doesn t have a card reader. They were told not to accept Apple Pay but I guess no one can comprehend their is more pays than just apple for example : google pay, Samsung pay ,walmart pay. They said they had a card reader in the drive thru which makes sense if they have no card readers and have to manually type in cards that s archaic. So hearing this I tried explaining Samsung pay is different because it uses mst tech instead of nfc but I guess that to complicated to get some people to understand. If the restaurant wasn t ready to open then they shouldn t have opened they have the mounting points for a card reader but they don t have one and they said they weren t getting one. It would be different if this was a sit in restaurant and also what about Covid contactless payments are accepted in like 90% of places and I ve had success with Samsung pay at 99% of places. Also they were super slow so I wasn t like holding up a line either. Guess I ll have to go to Taco Bell.

It was a very amazing experience people were very nice and they re pretty fast. One of the best things to get Is there nachos and add a lot of pico de gallo and cilantro has an extra queso because once you try that you re not gonna want to try anything else.

Having Taco Cabana back on the loop, after a long absence, is fantastic! The staff are friendly and most importantly, attentive. Always asking if everything was ok which you do not see much in fast food. My daughter ordered something that had an ingredient she didnt want and they remade it. Just fantastic unhesitating service. Food was hot and delicious. Recommend ranch salsa and cheese enchiladas. Tacos are superb! Will be coming back because this place rocks.

This is really pathetic if u ask me ...this is what I got for 25.00 tonight ...Taco Cabana was my favorite restaurant in the metroplex but as usual bring it here and this is what you get...no sour cream or anything ...Does the people who work there really hate their job that bad that they send out food like this ...I would give it 0 stars if I could
