Updated gave another chance to golden chicken did get mash and okra this time and chicken was better still not a place I will make a regular but today good Ordered large family meal of tenders chicken and 3 sides with extra rolls.. first time we only got the piece chicken and rolls had to go inside to get tenders and 2 sides . Never didnt get anyone to wanna make it right when I didnt get the 3rd side.. employees wasnt paying attention and seems upset when I asked for what I paid for .. was told manager too busy to deal with people like me. Wont go back .. waste of 60 dollars ... did at least get a response but nothing more than fill out a form..

This place has really gotten bad!! The chicken pieces are tiny, the price is outrageous for the portion size. They prepared 2 orders wrong!! (just before mine so I double checked mine). Customer service is terrible & slower than ever! I wont go back & wont recommend to anyone!!

Went to Golden Chick 8-28-24, ordered our food at 617pm and didn t get it until 7pm. Had roasted Breast 6gizzards and 6 livers mashed potatoes and gravy that you could turn the bowl upside down and it didn t fall out.Their was some more people their before us didn t get there food till715 pm

Increased prices. Decreased amount of food received. Like other franchisees in Longview, they will forget the reasons people frequent this restaurant and end up with an empty parking lot. Its ok though because the owners patronizing daughter likes to justify the cost by saying they could cut out free rolls when dining in, would you like that? You can cut them out. We wont be back.

This place does not have their act together. It is the world s longest drive thru by far. I was told 20 minutes to get my roasted chicken because they needed to cook more. But it has now been an hour and I m still waiting in my car at the front. Every time I come here there are multiple major issues. I have never been this disappointed with any restaurant! This is the last time! -updated - I asked an employee dropping off someone else s food to check on my order. She did not get back to me after 15 minutes. I went inside and it appears they forgot all about me (twice). They than blame it on corporate policies and tell you it is not their fault. The employee behind the counter said he would make it up to me with free food. Free food was 8 biscuits. And they still did not give me any utensils to eat my mac-n-cheese after I asked 3 times (because this an every visit occurrence at this restaurant). Grrrrr.

Spent over $15.00 6-13-24 and it was close to closing time but they were still taking orders inside and in drive thru! I wasnt sure what time they close on Saturday because I usually come during the day. The chicken wasnt properly cooked it was rushed due to they were closing I believe! I did call sunday evening 6-14-24 and ask to speak to a manager! I asked him for his name because I like to know who Im speaking with and he had an bad attitude, very unprofessional over the phone and terrible customer service! I dont understand how he is a manager! He claim his name is Bill and he was very rude and ignorant over the phone talking to his co-workers instead of talking to the customer! I kept saying hello because he act like I wasnt on the phone! I was trying to conduct business over the phone and he dont know how and I asked him was there another manager I could speak with besides him because he was non caring and dont know how to speak professionally over the phone! Bill really piss me off because I was trying to tell him about the chicken wasnt cooked all the way! I know what Golden Chick taste like and it was horrible! The manager refused to listen and had no concern about the food because it wasnt his food! He dont deserve the position he have because he is very unprofessional, unpleasant, ignorant , uncertain, repulsive, disrespectful,disturbing behavior! Yes I thru the chicken out because we were mad about the food and we threw it in the garbage at Jack -n- the box after making a purchase there and we went to Sonic! Had to go elsewhere to spend more money to receive better customer service have receipts to provide it and on throwing the chicken in their garbage! Owners please respond before I call the health department! Bill said the health department want do anything and I asked him if he would like for me to provide him wrong and hung up in his face because he is a problem! Still havent received replacement! I want my money or replace my food! Chicken wasnt properly cooked and paid over $15! I shouldnt have to give my private information to get a replacement! Food and service was good. Pace was slow but they had like 10 cars in the drive through and like 6 people.in line when I got there. Only suggestion (bc Im Cajun) is to try and make the dirty rice not quite so mushy. The flavor was really good, though. Hadnt been there in years but glad I checked it out this time.

Ordered 4 piece chicken tenders. Very doughy on a few pieces. Rasing Cains has you beat there. I also ordered a 6 piece wings all flats. I havent tried them yet but they are the smallest wings Ive ever seen. The fries and coleslaw were good. I ordered a 2 piece catfish of which I have yet to try but also noticed that the pieces were much smaller than Chicken Express catfish. Ill be back to try the fried chicken. Hopefully it will be great.

fried chicken cold. flies in the kitchen and dining room. every table is dirty and the floor is dirty and gross. The drink area is a toxic gross problem, just nasty. not enough employees. lots of customers. too many for the staff to handle. roll your recorder back and give some concern about your business. you are watching and doing nothing.

I would say normally we enjoy, but this evening s experience was horrible. The fried chicken looked like it was re-fried or under hot lamp a LONG time. All outer crust basically inedible. The salad was frozen - literally. Horrible. Wanted to try the mini funnel cake. Well I did. It was old, hard and crunchy. Even looked horrible. However, they are always friendly.

Me and My husband come here alway was. One of our best fried chicken pit stops. You cant go wrong with Golden Chick. There seasoning is so good and crispy fried batter.
