Kelly was very knowledgeable and helpful with my legal situation. Her office was very responsive and made sure all communication with court and opposing counsel was promptly shared with me as well. She is thorough and expects her clients to be also and I believe she defended my case to the best of her ability. Her services are not cheap but her rates are comparable to her colleagues and I have had experiences with other attorneys and at this point, I fully believe you get what you pay for and shes worth every penny!

Kelly is an excellent litigator and truly cares about her clients. However, she is very blunt and straight to the point. This may come across as negative but she is just being honest and telling you what you need to hear.

First of all, I ll be up front. Ms. Heitkamp did not represent me and I m sure she will reply first by backing that up. I m sure the business benefited from the finances I had to dish out tho. I rated her service as 1 star but let me tell you, I would have given 5 Stars if the following were rated. *5 stars on running up a bill *5 stars on dragging the case out which in turn, runs up a bill *5 stars on many occasions requesting info that I have submitted multiple times ( I felt many times as if I should getting payed as a paralegal. I guess they want everything layed out on a silver platter where they do not have to do as much research. And by the way, all the info I submitted WAS layed out very well. Items explained in detail, highlighted, etc. and they still get information messed up. Ohh and that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow that was said I had hidden, please let me know where it s at because I would like to know too.

I consulted with Ms. Heitkamp today about a situation. If you do not want to hear or are afraid of the truth, you should find another lawyer. If you want someone who will go to war with you and tell you the truth regardless of your feelings, you have found the right person. Ms. Heitkamp seemed exceptionally knowledgable, strategically sound, and is very in control.

Very professional. Extremely knowledgeable. I would use Heitkamp Law Office if I need to adjust child support or defend my daughter in the future. Kelly and her office were so considerate in dealing with us as we went through a terrible ordeal. I think we were all happy when it ended.

My case is in Carthage and this is my lawyer. She is the only one here that everyone talks about. She s good. No problems. I will hire her again when we go back to reduce support. Sam s lawyer got out of the case when I hired Kelly.
