Went in over the weekend to purchase shoes for a friends wedding, they didnt have the size in stock but told me that they can order some to be delivered so I took that option. Well the shoes arrived about 5 days later with minor damage but the shoes still had the CLEARANCE price tag on the bottom despite me ordering and paying for the full price. When I spoke to customer service they basically told me that they were supposed to take that tag off and theres nothing they could do despite the clearance price of those shoes being almost half the price of the shoes I paid for. Im updating because I called after making the post and spoke to a manager who was rather helpful and was actually able and willing to assist me in getting the corrected price.

It is really awkward for the mall to open at 10 oclock and dillards open at 11 like why would yall open an hour later when the mall opens at 10 AM people are here to shop, it doesnt make sense were already in a small city with barely nothing to do in nowhere to go or to shop. Very rude when trying to return something, I understand the return policy and I m not angry about that but there is no reason to act like your a disgusting human being because there was a hair on the dress. The lady acted like she didn t even want to touch the dress. The lady worked in the junior section. Won t go back

Cologne for me and parfum for her. This was my go-to for gifts on the holidays. DId this for years. Then, one day, the perfume wasnt enough. By then, it was too late. She couldnt wear that perfume on her finger like a wedding ring. I did not know this. Dillards should sell a book on the dos and donts of long-term dating.

UPDATE: Decided to go back 2 days later and give it another try event though I shouldnt have had to do that, I made sure to not use that rude lady and I had no issues and returned the dress and got my money back... This place is HORRIBLE I bought a dress 2 days ago and went to return it because I didn t wear it and I tried it on when I purchased it and they told me they wouldn t take it back because it had a piece of hair on it? It s a BLACK dress that had the tags, receipt, was perfectly wrapped in the plastic the lady was VERY VERY RUDE. worst Dillards ever!

I currently work here, and it s probably one of the worst places i ve ever worked! They are super strict on dress code, choose favorites and openly harass and neglect the needs of those they do not like. Leavanna Weiss (store manager) and Chris Adams (assistant store manager) do not care about their employees they only care about sales. One of my coworkers and myself are both male and work in the ladies shoe department, it s hard for us to meet our quota everyday because ladies do not want to buy shoes from a guy and we ve expressed that s to both Leavanna and Chris and they re response everytime is you need to be here for 6 months and make your sales in order to move departments Which its impossible for us in our current environment. I do not recommend working for this company, if there were an option to rate it negatively I would. This company is very sexists if you are a man in the women s area or if you re a woman in the men s area.

I was shopping for my granddaughter a new pair of white leather tennis shoes. Dillards children shoes department is my go to place. They always always have a nice selection of shoes to choose from and almost always have her size. The sales ladies are very helpful and happy to help with selection and sizing. I love shopping in Dillards.

The ladies in the handbag area were friendly, and made me feel comfortable; I was looking for a purse/black sandals for a birthday gift to myself. The ladies in the shoe department act snooty and stuck up. Its been several times Ive been in there (Im a black woman) and they looked at me like I had something on me. Theyve rolled their eyes, stuck their noses in the air, and greeted their White counterparts. I gladly took my business to the other part of the store because the shoe department workers are too racist acting for me; they didnt greet me at all ( not this time or times before). And they wonder why certain people choose not to shop in certain areas. Im always treated with respect in purses, mens, and especially womens & mens cologne; guess who will get our business, those areas will. Dillards really need to have some talks with their women shoe department workers. To each his/her own, but I shop where Im made to feel welcome.

Bought a perfume here and I got scammed. They either sold me a tester or a half full one or a defective one, because I would barely use the perfume yet it did not last at all. Do not recommend buying perfumes or colognes here.

I returned a dress with my receipt in the time I was supposed to. I paid with a prepaid debit card. At the time of purchase, the clerk kept my card. I had used the full amount. I was never told if I returned the item, because I had used the full amount I would be forced to only get a DILLARDS GIFT CARD!! I was not happy. I never was told that was the case when I used a prepaid debit card. I feel its very illegal what they are doing. Forcing people to only get their Gift Card. Im so disappointed at how I was treated by the associate and the Supervisor.

Despite the decline of malls and shifting business models, this Dillards has remained consistently clean, well-stocked, and from our experience one of the best in the chain weve been in (and weve shopped at a lot). We tend to swing by each time were in town visiting family from San Antonio, as the selection of clothing in Longview just tends to be better/more to our liking than our local ones. Kudos to the team for weathering changing shopping tastes, COVID, and the uncertain future of department stores! Please stay in business!

I personally have worked at the Longview Dillard s and all I can truly say is I m glad everyone is leaving this place. The work ethic is crude and greedy. Coworkers are being forced to quit because the manager won t let them off for plans they had scheduled ahead of time that they personally informed her about; staff members have to worry about reporting bad work ethics because they re afraid that their employer prefers to choose favorites and make money any way they can instead of looking at problems that can lead to tension between coworkers; they constantly hire new employees because either no one can make money off of their played out wardrobe, employees are greedy and take other employees sales (favoritism Ashley ;)), or because they can t keep enough employees to put up with their constant standard drama. Leavonna is not treating every employee fairly and it should definitely be looked into by someone, anyone even, because I m sure your HR staff wouldn t care either. I hope everyone working there finds something better. Because of Leavonna, this store is becoming a sinking ship. And if she doesn t change her greedy schemes she ll be back teaching again (oops, too late for that ;))

My husband and I took two of our grandsons back-to-school shopping at Dillards, today. Eedan found a couple of pairs of Levis jeans and a North Face shirt. The store is clean and neat. There is a huge choice of clothing, cosmetic, and footwear brands in this store, at reasonable prices. The employees are helpful and polite. Parking is free, in a large, well-lit lot. Recommended!
