Late review but a few weeks ago I called up here looking for a certain book Didnt have time to pick it up then the next day I called again and the same exact guy answered recognized my voice immediately remembered what book I was looking for and proceeded to pull it and put it on hold for me All without me having to ask Came in after work later and he handed it right to me Good job Jason

Dont waste your time. Another retailer that wont be around much longer if they dont make some changes. Was looking for a book. It said limited quantities on line. I drive to the store and ask for this book. I am told we should have one copy, however I would say it isnt there. Check the business section I check and of course I cant find it. I ask another employee near the section I am at. They tell me to look through the other shelves as it might be in the wrong spot. Ok, books-a-million. Thanks for nothing.

Very good book store. Their comic book section lacks a lot of Marvel comics, however, if you re a DC fan, you ll be very content with that selection of comics. They also have a very extensive selection of books, so that s good. Their staff is also very friendly and great at their job.

I spend over $100 dollar 3 moth ago at this store , the cashier offer me a two moth free magazine, I ask if they were goin to charge me. His answer was no , now I realized that I m being charge $15 dollar per moth , for the past 3 moth , I ask for the store manager 3 times , she is never there , they give a number to call to cancel the membership, no one answer 1-800 númber

I have been a customer at Books-A-Million in Longview for over 25 years. The store has a great selection of books, both new and used, as well as a large selection of magazines. It also sells cds and vinyl music, dvds and blue ray disks, clothing, planners, calendars and gifts. Joe Muggs coffee shop has pastries and a good selection of coffee products. The staff has always been friendly and very helpful to me. A special shout out to one of the managers, Erin, who always goes way beyond expectations in customer service. I highly recommend this store.

Cafe service is mostly non-existent. I renewed my membership recently and I mostly go there for coffee. Lately when I walk in, the cafe has no one behind the counter. I will stand there and wait in full view of the staff at the main sales counter. They say nothing. Ill turn around to find the cafe employee sitting smoking a cigarette. I understand you need a break but you could at least tell me that there is no one to help me.

Always a great place to go into. They have a ton of YA novels, huge mystery section, religion, etc. They have a great Harry Potter section as well! There are coffee mugs, journals, paper weights, book marks, cute graphic tees, cds, vinyls. Great place to pick up a cute gift! I never leave without finding a new book. And they also have a great bargain price section so if you are on a budget you can find lots of books for under $10.

This is a fantastic place to buy both used and new books. There are lots of good deals/clearance books. My son was able to find several of his favorite books for $1.75! They have a eclectic selection of journals (my favorite area) and I appreciate that they offer seating around the bookstore to look through books. They offer a wide selection of children s books as well as toys and diy kits. Candles, tv show paraphernalia/gifts even dvds. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful (much more so than Mardels) and I didn t have one employee grumble or roll their eyes when my kids came in to look at books. I enjoyed the coffee shop as well but I will save that for a separate review. I can t always make it up to Tyler to go to Barnes & Noble but this is a wonderful substitute. Bathrooms are always clean. Anyone looking for a great family friendly bookstore will enjoy this place.

Just wanted to rave about the customer service in this store! We came in close to closing accidentally (due to google still showing their holiday hours) to find my son a book that he had been wanting. My son is special needs and wheelchair bound. Manager Amber went above and beyond to put a smile on my boys face and was just so kind and understanding of children with differences. The entire staff was friendly and experience (though short) was awesome.

For the bibliophile or the random perusal, there isnt anywhere in East Texas better at getting a new spine to crack open than Books-A-Million. If you cant find what you are searching for they will order it for you. Online experience with this book store chain is also top notch. Not to mention that the in store coffee shop (Joe Mugs) can rival some chain coffee outlets. Come in and pick a book and a cup of your choice. Relax in one of the several places to sit and enjoy the written word.

Today was my first time going there and It has a nice collection for many fandoms. Even merchandise. Although the merchandise is overpriced i feel like the actual books are are good price for what you get. They also have resting spots for you to sit down and read. Inside is a cafè so you can chat,read,and etc..they also have movies (blue ray and dvd) and song cds. i recommend this place.

We love Books A Million! Smells wonderful and its relaxing. The only issue we had was with the coffee shop. The lady in there, was rude and not interested in serving us. So...we chose not to get a thing. Other then that, its been great service . We have been shopping there for many years. Hope to for many more! I hate to give a 1 star... but this place needs help. In the past I loved B.A.M. but my last visit was disappointing. Only one employee in the whole store and she was working the coffee shop. I needed help finding a book and she told me it would be easier to order it online. Really. The web site claims they had 10 in store. But she could not help me find it. Hire some employee, support your costumers needs. I hope you fix this.
