Stopped by a few weeks ago. Met the gallery owner and heard the story of how she got started and met one of the artists. Its a lovely gallery and worth the time to stop in to see the artwork.

Commerce gallery is a lovely gallery run by two fabulous women, Donna and Tam. The art work is exquisite and Lockhart is such a special place. If you are ever stopping by this town, Commerce Gallery is a cannot-miss destination.

I have been delighted to collect several pieces of art from the Commerce Gallery, and my life is better for it! Beyond the amazing curated collections, they are very professional. Purchases come with certificates of authenticity, and they make all the logistics easy. Commerce is a world class gallery!

Donna & Tamara have one of the most wonderfully inviting galleries in Texas. When I fell in love with a Ralph Fulton Jr. piece, Tamara customized a payment plan for me so I didn t miss out on taking home my first major art piece. It now hangs in my shop and brings me joy every single day. Thank you for curating such incredible art in a warm, hospitable way.

Lockhart is now famous for not only barbecue but also art art specifically curated by this glorious gallery. We wandered in on First Friday a couple of years ago and were blown away by the paintings, the people, the music, the vibe, and we keep coming back. Somehow they manage to find and showcase the best up and coming artists, and our walls are better for it. Check them out they welcome window shoppers and buyers alike.

Do you want to spend a wonderful day/evening in Lockhart? Then you need to head to The Commerce Gallery, its nothing short of state of the art. Every time I visit, I am in awe of the amazing works and knowledgeable staff. A big hats off to Donna & Tamra for bringing the Art to LockhArt. Make sure you say hi to Fred. Love visiting Commerce Gallery any time I m spending time in Lockhart and surrounding area. The space is amazing and located right in the heart of downtown, and the art is always incredible and fun. They do a great job of changing the exhibits to keep things exciting. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable about the pieces and the artists, but never pushy. I love how they include the local community by hosting monthly events. Thanks for providing such a lovely place to visit and find wonderful art!

Set aside the amazingly curated artwork and you will find a woman owned business ran by two of the most thoughtful and generous women around. The wife and I were on a road trip recently. We drove from Bangor, ME to San Diego, CA. By far our favorite town to happen upon was Lockhart. The BBQ was the best we ve had, Texans clearly have a superior grasp of meat. After our feast, we took a stroll on Lockhart s historic town square, and randomly walked into Commerce Gallery. Not only did we see some world-class artwork, we were treated like old friends by the staff. They were knowledgeable but not at all pretentious. So many times we ve strolled into galleries and have been greeted (if at all) by a nose in the air, or a smug sense of self-importance. That was not the case here. They clearly love the artists they represent, and they want EVERYONE to take part in the love of Art, for Art s sake. Our kind of people. Caroline was especially helpful, we were both impressed all around. A must visit.

Commerce Gallery is one of my favorite galleries in Texas! It s a beautiful space in a picturesque town and the featured artists are some of favorites from the Austin, TX area. I ve also enjoyed being exposed to the artists they ve brought in from other areas. The owners really have a knack for selecting art and curating exquisite shows. Additionally, I love their involvement in the community - they ve offered wonderful artist talks and sponsored public school field trips, along with donations of art supplies!

It not far away and worth seeing their permanent exhibits along with their new episode coming artists. They have special events on Wednesdays for new Arrivals that allow questions and answers with the Artist.

Beautiful gallery right in the heart of Lockhart. Had great conversations with the owners and staff. The space is well laid out and both artists on display had many beautiful works on display. Excited to go back soon for some of the artist talks and events they told us about.
