Amazing park and Splash Pad! Only one complaint... the Playground and Splash Pad are separated by trees. I cant supervise my kids if they want to split up. Still worth it!

Free splash pad for kids to enjoy with ample parking. There s restroom and changing station present. There s shaded area to sit and relax for adults. There s a walking trail nearby and full of trees. The splash pad is clean and has different types of water activities to enjoy. The splash pad gets crowd in sunny holidays and weekends. Overall this is a nice splash pad maintained by the city properly.

Free to the public. Small splash pad within a scenic park. Love that there s covered seating available to shade from the sun and benches around the pad. It is great for small children or anyone to cool off for a little while. Many options of getting soaked or just sprinkling a little water on you.

Hidden gem alert! I cant believe we havent been here before. This splash pad still looks brand new and clean! Its not huge, but plenty of fun for a couple hours! Theres 2 sections, one with water guns and fountains. Another with a small slide, water gun on a platform, and one of those huge buckets that dumps water down every few minutes. We had a ton of fun and the kids didnt want to leave. Spent about 2 hours here. I will say it would be pretty chaotic if it was busier than what we experienced. Theres a nice parking lot with wheelchair accessible spots. Theres a ton of picnic tables in shade. Theres also restrooms!

Website search said it was open. NOPE. To this out-of- town granny (with a carload of toddlers and preschoolers), open meant the splashpad was open and working. NOPE. We spent a LOT of time preparing for a splashpad/picnic kind of day... and were super disappointed when we arrived. The only saving grace was a tiny drainage area behind the pad that had running creek water with a few minnows in it they could watch.

Different play structure that was really cool to look at and play on! One end of park is a spray ground. This space looking part is about a block away from the parking lot, hidden in the trees. The opposite end of the park (with miles of walking trails in between) also had a play ground

The pictures do not adequately show this place. It is incredible. The equipment is new and top-notch. There is a waterfall on a timer that drenches the entire area around the mini-waterslide. Best splash pad I have seen to date.

Great way to cool off on these scorching hot summer days. My almost 2 year old loved running through the sprinklers and was entertained for over 2 hours. Definitely a great place to go when you dont want to spend money. The picnic tables make it easy to offer snacks and/or lunch while youre enjoying the splash pad.

Traveled 30mins to go to this park. However they were closed on a 91° morning due to Maintenance repairs which was not posted on any websites and it wasnt going to open until 1pm later that day. Splash looked fun but low ratinga for the citys poor communication

This is a great splash park but be prepared to face some serious crowds and rowdy kids (which Im not complaining about because its a splash park, of course theyre gonna be high energy). The one thing to know about this splash park is that they have one small water slide and all of the kids are gravitated to it. They tend to get a bit aggressive when trying to slide down it and youll often get a pile up of kids at the bottom of the slide. Ive never seen anyone get hurt though. Just something to be aware of if you have young/small children.

This is a great splash pad but the city does nothing to monitor summer camps coming and taking over the whole splash pad. The summer camps bring kids that are far too big for the equipment and there are so many per group that the chaperones are overwhelmed. They bring water guns and shoot littler kids in the face (including babies) and they push to all get on the slide at once pushing off and past any toddler that attempts to get on. Its dangerous and not a place where someone with children that are age appropriate can even enjoy themselves. Accident waiting to happen. Also do the summer camps pay the city to use the equipment inappropriately and dangerously? I would love to know.

Splash ground is fun just watch your little ones on the water slide. There are no life guards. We love the playground behind the sprayground. Its so much fun! There are bathrooms and there is a dog park as well.

A very clean splash pad for kids thats not too far from FM 423 and has good parking available. Went there during the evening on a weekend and it wasnt that busy. Water was a bit cold, so probably might be a good idea to go when its a bit sunny (rather than in the evening).

The Splash Pad is for all ages. Please put swim diapers on babies if needed. We also recommend water shoes for children. NO DOGS ALLOWED AT THE SPLASH PAD. The water is treated with chlorine and recirculated. Great little place to have a short picnic. It tends to get crowded during the summer fast. I would definitely recommend getting there bright and early during the summer months. I ve seen families get there as early as 10 am! There s also a trail nearby. It s a good place to freshen up before hitting the road. I wish people would be considerate by cleaning up after themselves in the bathroom. Please think about others! Throw away your trash in the correct place. Please potty train your kiddos and teach them to wash their hands. For the reason stated, I don t recommend using the restrooms at this park. There s no grilling at this park. It s just a small park to spend a short visit. It s free to the public, so that s why it s usually supper busy during the summer months. Bring snacks, but don t plan on spending a long day here since there s not much to do aside from the splash area. I would recommend heading over to the Little Elm Beach if you plan on grilling or spending an entire day at the lake.

Really great brand-new spash pad. Very modern sprayers that are fun for kids of all ages, and some covered seating (they have signs up that theyre adding more shade coverage soon as well). A large rotating bucket dumps every couple minutes in the center. There are a lot of small sprayers along the sides that are great for toddlers too. One of the best features is a small self-contained water slide (no pool, just a catch basin that collects some water to slow you down). It isnt very big, but the kids seem to LOVE it and line up to take turns again and again. Now, this place just opened a few days ago so it will likely be very busy once school is out, but is still a great option. We went at about 7pm and it was very busy, but by 8pm there were only about a dozen kids playing. Unlike Frisco splash pads, the water doesnt turn off at 8pm we were there past 9pm and it was still going strong. There are restrooms on site, and it connects to McCord park via the walking/bike trails (but has its own parking lot off of Witt Road just north of King). There are a number of tables with chairs, and a low wall thats also sitting height. Note that a lot of people are saying this is *at* McCord park it isnt, and it you park on that side youre in for a long walk. This is a REALLY well designed space, and will be even better when they add additional shade covers and the trees mature a bit!

Great I. All ways except for it mentioned picnic areas and we assumed that included grills. Well, lugging a 3olb bag of charcoal, food for 6 people in a cooler with the side attraction of a 7 & 10 yr old made it rough to say the least. Traveled from the splash park entrance to the north inside and no luck. PLEASE BE MORE CLEAR, when,on the map, you identify picking please make it clear that there are no grill areas..

Sweet little splash pad with a fair amount of covered seating and tables. I would suggest putting kiddos in anti-slip water shoes as well as keeping a close eye on them when around the water slide, as that area is particularly slippery. Other than that, the kids will have a blast!

This splash pad is relatively small and is close to the parking lot. It has a lot of tables with shade, as well as a few benches surrounding it. However...to be honest, the water slide makes it super dangerous; the trough at the end of it is way too long and attracts kids to play in it. So its typically crowded with rowdy kids whose parents dont bother to keep them out of it. If you think Im just being a curmudgeon about that: a 3-year-old girl drowned in it today. I really hope the city will consider removing or redesigning it.

Cute little splash pad right behind McCord park with its own parking lot. Restrooms are fairly clean. Needs more seating around as it seems to be very popular. People were sitting on the sidewalk and along walls out in the hot sun from lack of tables. Other than that a good place to let your little kids run around and get wet.
