Owners let personal issues get into the way of business. Each event lacks big time in the attention to detail and cleanliness. If you plan on using this venue, walk around and get in writing of the things they will do or fix for event. 10/10 do not recommend and not worth the money.

The rental process went smooth until the day after. We rented (the smaller of two houses that were available for rent) Accessibility Handicap accessibility was not available throughout the interior/exterior of the house. no hand rails, etc Exterior The steps going in are extremely steep and deep, making it difficult for anyone who might have trouble with balance or walking (which was the case for us) The handrails are a couple of very weathered 2x4s nailed together and pretty wobbly. The deck in the back has weathered wood and does not feel real sturdy. The ramp going from the deck was 4-1x6s that were leaning on the deck. My aunt decided to test the ramp out before our mother or father went down it, and the ramp collapsed as she stepped on it, and she fell with it onto her back (see pictures below). Interior Spiders and bugs throughout the house. A load of sheets was started in the washer upon leaving as hostess asked. Event center: No Handicap bars and low toilets and without Handicap bars. I cleaned the refrigerator which was certainly not clean on my arrival. Exterior path to Event Center from rental house There is a sink hole in front of the adjacent house between the house we rented and the event center. (see pictures below). I notified the hostess and she said she were unaware of the hole. The day I arrived (Friday) I did the hostess walking in front of the large house, directly where the large hole could not have been missed. Luckily nobody fell into it. The hole is large enough if a vehicle wheel fell into it, it would fall to the axle. The hole needs repaired and/or certainly marked to prevent any incidents. Withheld Deposit On Sunday, 7/14/24, you called me stating that the people that rented the large house on Saturday night (NOT ASSOCIATED WITH OUR GROUP) called and complained of a horrendous sewer smell. Hostess stated she assumed it was because several of our vehicles that drove across the end of the yard. There were no signs or restrictions posted and/or verbally stated to me, stating where vehicles could/could not be driven/parked. Furthermore, at no time, was there any leakage and/or visible broken pipes, nor sewage smell in/around the house in which we rented. Hostess stated that I would not receive my deposit back due to the sewage smell that occurred in the house that we DID NOT rent.

Tables needed cleaned, definitely bring your own table cloth unless you intend on scrubbing the tables, the bathrooms and kitchen were clean. Some of the lights didnt work. One of the exterior doors didnt shut smoothly and needs to be pulled shut a little hard, making it sound like youre slamming it, so its a bit disruptive.

I booked my graduation party here. The place was beautiful, clean, and the owner was so accommodating. My guests and i had such a fun time, we would definitely book this again! Thank you for all the beautiful memories!

I booked this venue a year before my wedding and they promised me all the things that would be picked up and cleaned up in the outside area and inside and it wasn t half the lights didn t work. She just gave me excuses. And technically inside our contract it states that if I brought up a concern as soon as I saw it they have to take action, I would get compensated and the customer service is so bad when I texted my concerns, I never got replied back. Also there was soda spilled all over the kitchen that I had to clean.

This is a very lengthy review but probably worth the read if you plan on renting this venue. To start I ll say the communication was decent until the venue owner received the down payment. After that the questions and texts were answered few and far between. Weeks between even. My sister and her husband wanted to get married at Rustic Meadows because that s where they met on a blind date for his senior prom 2 years prior to their wedding day. I say this so you know that they had a great idea of what this venue has to offer. Come time to decorate the day before the wedding we walked into the most disgusting disaster. I ll list them and post photos. 1. There were at least 4 tables broken that we were unable to use. We ended up having to bring in extras. 2. The tables hadn t even been wiped clean. 3. The table cloths were delivered to the venue to use, wadded up and wrinkled. It cost $50 to rent the table cloths. Most of them were round and didn t even fit the 6ft tables. The owner said to double up the round and it would look ok.. (I refused to let my sister pay the $50). We had to purchase our own. 4. The broken fences out where the ceremony would be held. 5. The clutter outside where the ceremony was held. My 13 year old boys cleaned that mess up to the best of their ability. In the process one of them had a nail go through his foot. We had an emergency visit because of it. 6. The thistles where the wedding party would stand but more importantly where the bride would stand. Not to mention the rest of the grass was not kept. My 13 year old son begged me to let him mow it. It s sad when he can recognize when grass needs tended to but an owner cant. 7. Beer cans and trash that did not belong to us. 8. Lights that did not work. She did mention in January she would do her best to have those fixed for the May wedding. Obviously there were no actual intentions of that. 9. The bird poop, dirt, trash, etc on the side walks. I would have cleaned that myself however there was not water hose. The best I could do was use a leaf blower. 10. Bags of rocks randomly placed around the venue still in plastic bags. 11. The photo drop was brown and dingy.. we had to purchase our own fabric to drape because you could see everything on the sheer fabric that was already up. Also the mouse feces that laid on top of the fabric. 12. The bar area had trash all behind in the open cabinet area. When I spoke to her about these things she said she had been cleaning up the best she could for 3 days because of the mess the party before left. I asked if she would be able to take care of the mess before the wedding and not once did we hear back personally from her. A man and young girl showed up that evening. We left assuming things would get sorted out and cleaned up a bit better. One of the fence panels were propped back up. The next morning someone came out to tend to the yard. Only 1 of the thistles were removed with a weed eater. I picked up 3 nails out of the yard where the bride walks down the aisle. Fast forward to the day after the wedding. My mom lost her debit card and requested to go out there to look around and find it. She was very short and said the venue was being use. My mom went ahead and drove out there. No one was there. No event at the time. With all this said, It could be a decent venue with a little maintenance but the customer service and attention to details is extremely lacking. I am very thankful for the family and friends who pulled together to make this place clean and tidy for my sisters big day! The cost they spent out of pocket to FIX things that should have been dealt with before we came in.. in addition to the cost we paid for the venue. It s not our business but we definitely took the time to do it right for the wedding. We will never recommend this venue to anyone and make sure you get a good look before you book.

We just stayed Friday the 18th and Saturday the 19th in the little blue house... Its decor is adorable throughout ... when we needed a couple items refilled the Host quickly responded ... We would enjoy staying there again next time we fly in from Michigan to visit our family here in Amarillo!

My family and I really enjoyed having this venue for our baby shower. Everyones favorite part of the venue was the beautiful lights on the wall and ceiling. The owner was super friendly and was their to assist us in any way we needed. She was even super nice to let us borrow some table cloths and a speaker that was heard around the venue. The whole venue was super clean and elegant. We really liked how there was a kitchen and the bathrooms were neat and decorated pretty. I would recommend this venue for anyone whos looking for a place to host their events.
