The manager Anthony is a joke he came to my table to tell me that my FaceTime conversation and my son game on his phone was too loud but the bar was extremely loud my whole visit and I spent a nice amount of money in his establishment and he is the general manager to tell a child that there playing device is too loud and he is three he don t know if my child is deaf or not I felt very aggravated and picked on because I had kids and wasn t at the bar they are very loud and disturbing actually get it together at this location my server was great he need to work for a better company because Anthony is a joke

I had a disappointing experience at Applebees. After ordering, we waited about 40 minutes just for our appetizer. No one came by to update us or apologize for the delay. Frustrated, we decided to ask for our food to go and left without dining in. I won t be returning to Applebees again.

They were very forgetful of our order, and other tables sat down and got their food before we got ours. (We ordered all food and drinks before them.) My niece finally got her food after we got ours, but it was hard, so we had to send it back. After a while, we still had not gotten her remake, so she just canceled her order. They claimed to be short staffed. Getting the bill was just the same, sadly another waiting game. There was only 3 tables...

We were in on Monday 8/5. The first thing I noticed was the smell: stale grease and dirt. Greeter acted bored and as if we were inconveniencing her. Server was friendly, but did not refill our drinks once. We ordered the all you can eat special. All of our food was cold. Fries were limp. They did bring fresh fries upon request. We could hear wait staff in the back laughing and cutting up, but they weren t coming out to check on the customers. Manager was helpful when they had a problem with our gift card. She got it figured out and comped one of our meals. We still have money on our gift card but will not be going back there.

Sitting at the bar in the night time, the music volume was a bit low. The NBA game, the football game and some funny clips were playing on the TVs surrounding the bar. The bartender was friendly. After placing the order, the drink came in 2 minutes and the food came in 9 minutes. The Passion fruit mezcal rita served in a martini glass with a shaker tin left aside. It looked beautiful and tasted fruity and really sweet but light alcohol sense. Chicken wonton taco tasted great; it s the very delicious snack. Parking: Lots of parking space.

Worse service ever from the bartender on a slow night! He s got an accent and was so rude. Will never go back to this location and if I do I won t sit at bar area! Better yet won t be back again. Update 7-17 tried it again. 70+dollars and food was so cold. Waitress asked how our wings were when we told her food was cold. Paid extra for loaded potatoes. Waitress said well if wings were good 1 out of three isn t too bad. Really??? Well 5.00 out of a 10.00 tip isn t so bad then either. Never again. I went in there this past saturday . Not busy at all. Was seated by the host and then was forgotten about . A big party came in about 5 min later and was seated and got their drinks ordered and brought out before us. Our server never even acknowleged us . We finally left about 15 min and told the host where is our server and she responds shes coming . During the whole time we only saw the host and one male server. I can understand if it was super packed but only 4 tables total in the whole restaurant. No excuse .

First off, the service was awful. I dont know what mustve been going on with the server, but we waited forever for service, and we called her over, asked if we could order and she said yes then walked away all confused before coming back to take out order. I prepaid and ordered at 830p online with a 910p pick up time. I got there at 9:13 and called them to let them know that I wanted to add a Bahama Mama to my order based on the recommendations of their hold music. They told me it would add about another five minutes. I called about 15 minutes later and they told me that my waffle fries were out of stock for the night and that they were cooking my wonton tacos. I told them that my pickup time was for 15 minutes earlier and they told me their kitchen was behind. They also said it should only be about another five minutes. They came out to the car to obtain the funds for the drink however, I told them that they needed to refund the cost of the waffle fries and that I would pay the difference for the cost of the drink. She came back and took off $.75 off the drink order and told me that I owed the difference and I then proceeded to explain math to her how they improperly calculated that amount and how I should only owe about $.27-$.30. About 40 minutes after I got there, they brought the food out to the car with the drink and you can look at the pictures that I posted of the quesadillas. These were horrendous! I d asked for just the meat and cheese and this is what I was given for my daughter! If I hadn t already spent 40 minutes waiting on my food, I would ve taken it back in. This is the second bad experience that I ve had there. On August 1, my sister and I along with my eight-year-old daughter went and there was a roach walking around the inside of the restaurant on top of the booths and the Manager killed it with his hands. They have me a $10 credit for my inconvenience. Why I decided to give them another chance - I don t know but I will not return to this Applebees ever again! I will drive from Frisco to Lewisville instead.

Something was clearly amiss when we visited two weeks ago. The soda machine was broken, there was apparently only one chef who showed up for work. Our server was trying to accommodate, but it took us forever to get to get some of our food, some of it was not cooked well at all, and one meal was either given to someone else or never cooked. When my bill came, I noticed there was an additional charge for $2.49 for french fries which I did not order. I tried to grab the attention of the bartender who was not Omar and he.was a little short with me. When he came to the table, I told him I did not appreciate Attitude towards me was. At that point, he started to argue with me and tell me that I should be ashamed of how I m treating him. I was trying to explain to him that I do not like being treated that way by a server, and I pointed at him and he blew up at me. At that point, I stood up and he said where are you going? I said I am going to talk to the manager. He said no you re not you re going to sit right down. I went to the manager and the bartender followed while speaking to the manager. I told him what it happened, and I said I am inclined not to tip him based off of his attitude. The bartender responded to me, Lyon better. The manager jose at that point asked what I would like to make things better and I said I wanted an apology from the Bartender. Jose asked the bartender for an apology for me and the bartender refused. Jose at that point said there s nothing else I can do. When I asked for the bartenders first name so I may name him in the complaint Jose would not give it to me. I replied that o can read and if he had a name tag on I would get his name. Then I was told his name was Chris. I asked for the number for corporate and Jose told me that posting a message on the website was the quickest way for a response. He would not give me the number to corporate. This in my opinion is a very weak corporate manager. My father and I eat at this restaurant at least once a week. I m inclined not to go back for a very long time.

My kids and I went in for a very late lunch to celebrate a school award, and the restaurant was not busy at this time. The bar tender named Jack went out of his way to welcome us and treated my kids with kindness, patience and respect. We enjoyed quick and friendly service and we enjoyed our meals and desserts. It was nice to be able to have a meal out for a reasonable price and feeling appreciated and welcome. We will be back :)

Outside appearance was standard Applebee s. Inside was little to know service workers. Which meant subpar service. Food was a disaster. Ordered Southwest chicken bowl. Thought that might be a safe dish. Unfortunately, it was terribly dried out. I was it given any condiments that may have came with it too. Perhaps keep it from being so dry. After years my husband and I decided to have a little Applebee s. We walked and sat at the bar and noticed the manager and bartender arguing. We asked for a menu and he gave us one, so I asked for another and immediately it seemed like we annoyed him. I think his name was Omar. We ordered two Blue Moons that came in a bottle so asked for two glasses and some orange.. again he seemed like it was a hassle to help us. My husband ordered the pretzels and I ordered the mozzarella sticks. The food came out and was a little cold to the touch. We were watching other customers waiting for take out orders, waiting on boxes for the their meals and one lady waited 15 mins to get her card swiped to pay and leave. Omar the bartender was in a terrible mood and not attentive at all. I get having a bad day, but you re in an industry where you serve others, throw on a smile and just fake it if ya have too. It truly ruined our experience. We decided we weren t going to order dinner so put our card up and that took 10/15 mins for him to notice. It wasn t busy in there at all. Maybe 4 tables and one other person sitting at the bar. When my husband asked for a pen that worked, Omar answered back it works for me so yeah at that point I was biting my tongue. Bartender didn t know how to make some very basic drinks. I was shocked by that! She was by herself trying to figure out how to make stuff. She wasn t aware of the brands of booze that they had available. How can you bartend and not know the basics?!! She was quick to yank peoples glassware whether they were done with their drinks yet or not. She wouldn t ask if they were finished with their drink, she would just go take it if she thought they were done with it. Very unprofessional and could use much more training!!

Was no service to speak of. Sat down waiter came buy ask what I wanted to drink brought drink. That was it until food came out. I figured out I had to Order through the table top system. App and entree came out together delivered by someone who may have been my server. Finally got napkins when I had almost finished appetizers. No sugar or sugar substitute on table and saw the server so little I gave up. Booth was dirty food on walls and table. Did not wait for boxes to pack food in paid on system and left. One of the few supposed full service restaurants in Little Elm that has been there for over 10 years and seems to get worse everytime I go.

This has to be the worst Applebees franchise store. I have tried to give them multiple chances. Tonight has to be the topping on the cake. The person that sat us was in their own world, the server talked to my kids like they were babies, the food was cold (per my kids) and the worst of it was the server lied straight to me in regards to my order. I ordered the item, he wrote it down and even questioned me on what I told him I did/didnt want. We waited 30 minutes for our food and they brought out the food item by item so we werent eating at the same time. Then he brought my food last which was completely different from what was ordered. I informed him of this and he apologized. At this point I told him to cancel my food because everyone else was almost finished. He was then compelled to come back to tell me he got interrupted while taking my order and wrote it down wrong. This was a bad attempt at an excuse. No my guy, you werent interrupted and didnt write it down wrong otherwise you wouldnt have repeated the order back. My kids had sat there with no drinks for the entire meal, he kept telling me Ill be with you in a minute every time I asked for his attention. He never once checked back with us to see what was needed (hence me trying to get his attention) even after dropping off food for my kids. The manager stood at two tables chatting up friends the entire time and other guests looked as frustrated if not more then I. I have tried to go back but this was the final time.

10 years ago, my family dined at this restaurant once a week. It was full of good company, great food at a decent price, and music. I definitely say Applebees will no longer be on my list for favorite restaurants. My family walked and waited more than 10 minutes to be seated. No, they werent busy. There were some staff members who just kept looking and simply walking away. Our server was attentive and friendly, but he obviously wasnt getting any help. It took more than an hour to get our food after ordering. Of course, we had looked at the menu for about another 20 minutes. Our server kept apologing for the delay. The food was ok, but at this point, we had already lost our appetite. My kids asked me not to come back to this restaurant. Sorry Applebees but adios forever!

It was not the Applebees experience we normally get. The alcoholic drinks we ordered (3 total) came out 15-20 mins after the order was placed. One of the glasses was cracked bad enough where it could have fallen apart on the table. Not to mention the bar tender tried to pour the drink into a different glass and re-serve it to me not thinking about little pieces of glass that could have been in the drink. The food came out, out of order and the appetizers came with and after the main courses were served. The food on the other hand tasted great and did not disappoint!

I had posted about this location a year or two ago and gave it 5 stars. Had a great time, great food and great service. I had to edit that post because this place has gone downhill since then. I sat at the bar for 20 minutes before a single employee approached me. Once I finally placed my order, the bartender disappeared and didnt return until she brought the food and then once again disappeared. Absolutely no customer service, the broccoli I ordered was half frozen, the restaurant is a mess. Cabinets stuffed full that wont close, sticky tables and bartop. Im not sure what happened this past year to this place but it is now somewhere I will not be returning. Absolutely terrible, dont come

I haven t had Applebee s in a very long time, so I decided to go with my family. Many people have told me that their wings are very good, so I got half garlic parmesan & buffalo. After waiting forever for my meal to come out it finally did, and it didn t look appetizing at all. First off the garlic parmesan wings had no flavoring at all with only shredded parmesan cheese on top of it. As I got to the buffalo wings they looked better, but right when I bit into them it was like chewing a tire. After tasting these two wings I decided to get up from my table and walk over to the nearby mcdonald s and got me some food there. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!!!

We ordered through door dash and the order was wrong and the food was terrible. I ordered the chicken fajita wrap with mashed potatoes and paid extra for sour cream, bacon and cheese. They sent fries instead of the potatoes and extras. The fries and wrap both tasted like they poured a ton of salt on it. It was very hard to stomach. We have tried various Applebees, and they are all consistent in that the food is awful and the service generally poor. It s a shame. I used to eat their quite frequently years ago, and it was so much different.

Walked in, no host. Waited 3 minutes and someone came from the back. Not very polite. Sat us at a table. Instantly new it was going to be bad bc the table was dirty. Waiter came up and we asked if we could get something to wipe off the table and he went on a rant about being under staffed and about a hostess who didn t want to do her job. He walked to get a towel. Another customer walked up and said they wanted their bill bc they never got their kids food. Well we got our waters and then ended up leaving without anything else. Wife has always wanted to try this place. I was told it is pretty much TV dinner food but, decided to give it a try. We were the first there as soon as the opened, sever was nice but that was pretty much it. Had to hunt her down for more refills. We ordered and more people arrived and somehow, their food got to their tables first. After we got our food, my riblets, fries and wife s pasta were lukewarm. Tasted like it had been saved up from the day before. Her garlic bread looked like it was sitting in grease and hard as a rock for a day. Would have been nice if we could have told the waitress but like I said, could hardly tell where she was at. We hardly ate anything and just paid from the table kiosk and left. Sad part is when you see the reviews, there are a lot of bad ones and the owner or whoever has the same generic response. You would think if they truly cared, they would actually fix the issues. I ve ran restaurants years ago, if you need help running this place, let me know.

Waited to be seated in an empty restaurant. The greeter was in the back folding napkins while watching his phone. Then we were seated 8 min later. Since this Applebees has no concept of first come first served, or servers with tables and communication about who is seated in a section. The server just took the order of the first table they walked into. That was the third in line. After waiting 20 min. We left. Lazy dog is great, so is 54th St. I am at Lazy Dog now. Greeted, having my drink order taken. Food ordered. Happy. If you want happy Applebees isnt the place. They dont care. Either the owner is too stingy to pay anyone enough to care, or culture is tanked. Whatever, not my problem. Remember when Ruby Tuesday went out of business, and Red Robin? Well next up is Applebees. It was great in 95, when I was a kid, but now its way past prime. Not going to waste my time here anymore. You shouldnt either. Heres praying that they go out of business and someone puts a modern restaurant on that corner.

We arrived at about 7:00 p.m. no one was receiving customers, we waited a few minutes until someone came and took us to the table which felt a bit sticky, then we waited about 15 minutes for them to take the order, 45min after we ordered 8:05pm the food arrived which was delicious, I think they need more employees since the place was not that busy.

Horrible. This location has dramatically declined. Came yesterday with my son, he was having a rough day, & we needed some time together. He asked for wonton tacos, but decided on the sampler platter. We got here just after noon and there was maybe a handful of people. The hostess was nice, but the server Alyssa acted as if she didnt want to be bothered. I had to request a lunch menu, & she shut down any idea of substitions. When our app platter came out, it was horrific & just plain sad. The cheesesticks were barely cooked, not melted at all, and the boneless chicken was cold to the touch. That was enough for me to ask for a manager. I offered to pay for whatever we had ordered but felt he should know about our experience. Needless to say, we wont be back, Ive never felt more uncomfortable. Took our business to IHOP. Photos are of cheesestick (uncooked at Applebees) compared to cooked at IHOP.
