Yikes. Where to begin? I used to come here fairly frequently, but sadly that wont be happening anymore. Firstly, the waitress serving us spoke very little if any English and repeatedly attempted to converse with us despite our obvious confusion. The restaurant smelled like toilet bowl cleaner, which killed my appetite. The items we ordered did not include the ingredients described on the menu, and after we were finished, we discovered the prices of the items we ordered were higher than the menu indicated. I was in such a hurry to get out of this place, I didnt even argue and paid it...

This was my first time here and it was perfect!! The food here is delicious and very well made, they have a Venezuelan menu as well so when I come back I will be trying it!! I got the Migas with chorizo, the chorizo and hash browns were so good! The service was fast and very friendly!

Came in on a rainy Saturday for breakfast. Greeted ,seated and cared for by Christian. He s attentive , friendly and efficient. Eggs sausage with 2 sides fresh on season fruit and soft pancakes. Large glass of OJ made this a great start to the day! Thanks! Food

Ive been here multiple times before and never had a negative experience, however, today was very disappointing! Food was not tasteful. The biscuits with gravy were horrible! The coffee was old and bitter-no water offered. The scrambled eggs overcooked. Service also was not very good, considering that only 3 tables were busy, it was still very slow. My server attended to a table that arrived after me, took their order and served their food before taking mine. Also, its 2 restaurants in one now, you can either do American food during cafe hours or Venezuelan food in the evening.

Just a sad experience. My huevos rancheros had raw tortillas and the brunch burger was missing hash browns so we got a side of cold soggy hash browns to replace it. The burger patty used tasted like a boiled patty from an elementary school cafeteria. Took two bites then threw it out. Service was fine

We arrived for brunch and were promptly seated, but unfortunately, no one attended to us or took our order. Despite a relatively quiet atmosphere with only three occupied tables, including ours, we struggled to get any attention from the waitstaff. 30 minutes past by and we were not served any of our drinks or water. Two tables came in after us and they were served with water and drinks before us. There was a party of 2 who sat next to us that came much later and the same server tended to them proceeding to take their order. Their food and water were served before our drinks (coffee, milk and water) came out. We felt unwelcome after we flagged the staff down several times. I ve never experienced anything like this, the lack of attentiveness and basic restaurant etiquette from the staff was disappointing and left us feeling disregarded. I don t have a problem waiting if they were short staffed and I most definitely give grace for small business restaurants. They blatantly didn t care to serve us while they served several different tables who came much after us. Ultimately, after waiting for 40 minutes without any sign of improvement, we decided to leave without being served.

Worst service ever, places like this should close their doors, and give the opportunity to other businesses to grow, or businesses that are looking to create an impact in the community. I believe they only provide good sevice to Venezuelans, because my experiences have been horrible! Today 2/25/24 was my second visit, last visit I waited one hour before I could get my food on an empty restaurant. Today my child and I were looking for a place to have breakfast, I decided to give this place a second chance, we were coldly greeted, it took about 15 minutes for someone to ask for our order, and after 45 minutes of patiently waiting we left. We waited 45 minutes and they didn t even offered a glass of water.

The atmosphere and service is terrible. A short girl with light eyes attended to me. She gave me a table that was dirty, I imagine that before giving her a table she has to check if the table is clean. Then I had to wait half an hour for him to attend to me, and when he attended to me he treated me badly, very arrogant and rude. DONT COME TO THIS TERRIBLE PLACE, I dont know how they can hire people like that. The food is very good but the attention damages everything

I just got back home with their take-out chicken fried steak, and they forgot the gravy ..worst part is, without the gravy the rest of it is so bland and void of flavor that it s not edible. Even the mashed potatoes taste like nothing .and I dont have covid. We loved this place when iy was under decent management, but we will never be coming back again. This was literally terrible. I tried to eat it, but couldnt choke it down.

The first couple of times visiting here I had the white chocolate and raspberry pancakes. It was the best pancakes I ve ever eaten. It was also a special treat because my sons are allergic to cocoa and can t have regular chocolate pancakes. I m not sure if they offer this item anymore but we still enjoy this cafe. It has a family feel and the food is always on point.

They messed up my order on the first try and did a lazy fix for the second. Egg shells in my eggs. Ordered the Huevos rancheros and they just threw uncooked veg on the eggs. It came with beans but the cup was literally just bean water with a few beans. The hash that came in my kids meal was undercooked- mostly everything was. There s a lot to complain about but the only good thing about my order was the French toast and even those were missing pieces. The waiter guy was nice but the cooks today made him and the restaurant look bad.

I m not normally one to leave reviews but this was a terrible experience. I m assuming it was the manager who took our order, since he was busy meeting with vendors while the other girl and guy was hanging out sitting in the back booth. He got my order completely wrong. I ordered an omelette, they brought me a skillet. Here s the part that makes it worse, I ordered a side salad with ITALIAN dressing- manager brings me a salad covered in cheese and said sorry she put the dressing on it already so I put this on the side I took one bite as I uncovered the salad from all the cheese, and it s RANCH! Asked for a replacement and the girl that was trying to help was clueless- she just kept saying oh sorry I don t know.. my husband ordered hashbrowns, that took forever to come out- and when they did- it looked like a huge block of pepper, as did mine. My food was cold, and hashbrowns inedible. I was tired of complaining so we paid and left and certainly will not be back.

These people are in America and need to understand English better. Need to know how to cook very soft scrambled eggs. Very soft scrambled eggs are very wet looking with a very very little bit of runny egg. If you scramble them till they get that dry look they are already way overcooked for very soft scrambled eggs. But, their food is good and they are very polite. But, language barrier makes it now unto impossible to describe nuance preparation requests and other detail oriented requests. It appeared that they have developed a clientele so I know they are good.

Only giving 2 stars because the breakfast burrito was good. Was seated and ignored for 10 minutes after seeing two tables get drinks and orders taken who were seated after us. Asked for a coffee and a water, never got a water, and coffee was never refilled. Boyfriends water was not refilled either. Eggs, bacon, and french toast were cold. Our table was walked past several times, server even walked past our table with my credit card and receipt, didnt drop it, and went into the kitchen for a different order before dropping it off. I worked in restaurants and did breakfast for quite a while and I typically dont leave reviews, but this place was extremely disappointing. From food, to service, and the overall of it was not worth spending money or time here. I was hopeful because we live really close.

This is under new ownership. We miss the old ownership. Imagine if you will a breakfast restaurant without lemons without hot water without salsa for the eggs. That serves precooked bacon so when you order your bacon well you dont get it that way. When you order an omelette and it comes out of scrambled eggs and the server tells you that the menu doesnt say it comes out as an omelet. And then you have her read the menu and she sees that shes wrong. Imagine if you will flies buzzing around on a cold November day in the dining room. To say that our experience here was awful is an insult to the word awful. Do not waste your money here we hope we dont get sick with the food we just ate. This place needs to be looked at by the health department. So other than the environment the service and the food being poor this is a great place to eat. I would love to give it zero Stars but Google review doesnt allow that.

I ordered three poached eggs and a bowl with a side of fruit and when they brought me my eggs they were on a plate. I asked for a bowl and it took 10 minutes to get me a bowl so my eggs were cold. The waitress kept coming out and talking to two young guys But not bringing me my bowl. I guess it was that I was a single older gentleman is why I didn t get very good service.

Came here for brunch on a Saturday. Not too busy. Service was pretty attentive. Food was not so great. She got the traditional breakfast and the grits were flavorless. I had the breakfast burrito with chorizo which would have been fine if they didnt try to stuff a whole bell pepper chopped up into the burrito to try and save on food cost. I spent the whole time picking most of them out. May try again just because it is close. Was not very impressed.

I found this place on Google Maps when I was visiting Dallas. The hotel breakfast was so bad, so I was looking up breakfast/brunch place near my hotel, and thats how I found out this place. I ordered one of the healthy options, and it was good! It was made with egg Whites and different vegetables, so it was also very healthy. It had sprinkling of cheese on top, but underneath was lots of different veggies. It also came with fruits and toast on the side. The restaurant was roomy, and was decorated well, but I was the only customer. So the service was very prompt. The price was reasonable.

Unpleasant experience, the service was very poor by the whole staff, sat there for 15min (it was not busy) before anybody came over, the coffee was not hot but you better savor it, because theyre not good about refills. The burger and omelet we ordered had extra ingredients we didnt ask for and the potatoes were clearly frozen from a bag. If youre going to have bad service, you better have excellent food. It was just ok food, theres plenty of other choices not too far away. Dont blame the boys working there, blame the manager who trained the kitchen and wait staff.

My family loves going out for brunch but were sorely disappointed with Sunview. The croissant sandwich had a thick layer of processed cheese. The Eggs Benedict was bland with a dry English muffin and very thick, gelatinous hollandaise sauce. Even the hashbrowns were cold and chewy/ undercooked. I hate to leave such a harsh review but It all tasted like cheap, frozen microwave meals to the point where we were questioning if it was actually microwaved from frozen. The server was tipped generously for his effort but we won t be back.

We used to be regular patrons here but that aint happening anymore. $43 for breakfast for 2 Started with water and coffee. Water never showed up and coffee wasnt served until we got our food, they simply forgot. My wife wanted a side of Belgian waffle, but rather than telling us that such thing wasnt a side, we were charged 8.25 for a waffle you can make yourself at the breakfast bar at a cheap hotel. I wanted a side of french toast however this was also not a regular side and I was charged extra for 1 piece of french toast. Food was alright, but not even close to being worth 43 for 2 people for breakfast. We will find a new place moving forward

The first time we visited Sunview it was wonderful. When we visited this time I expected the same excellence. I ordered the exact same menu item as the first time, the Forest Delight. On our first visit it was a delicious omelette. This visit, it was a frittata that tasted awful. I sent it back and was told they had a new cook and they would have him remake it. When it came back out, it was the same, a frittata that tasted awful. I tried contacting them privately through their email to let them know how to dissatisfied I was, they never responded.

After giving this place multiple attempts to WOW me, Ive decided to give up. 99 percent of the time when we attempt to eat here we will walk in, be seated, and then wait approximately 5 to 15 minutes to have a server get our drink order, regardless of the amount of people currently dining in the place. After our drink order is taken we will usually wait another 10 min to get our food order taken, then an appropriate amount of time later our food arrives, usually cold or not complete. Ie missing sides, incorrectly prepared or just plain wrong dish. If you can get past all that the food is just okay. If I could give less than 1 star I would. Save yourself the headache and go to ihop or dennys food will be similar and you wont have to see what color underpants the busboy who doesnt own a belt is wearing that day.

So weve tried to give this place a chance, but the service is just terrible! Weve walked in, waited to be seated, and stood there for 20 min or more with empty tables all around and the hostess walking past us multiple times, totally ignoring us. If you are lucky enough to be seated, you will find a 20-minute or so wait before someone comes to take your drink order. Weve even had multiple servers come and ask for our drink order to end up with NO drinks. From there, you can wait 30 minutes before someone comes to take your food order. All the while, you can see the staff sitting at the booth in the back having a meal of their own. Im not sure who is training their staff, but they could go to any other restaurant in the world and see how it should be done. Out of the dozen or so times weve visited this establishment, there has only been 1 time that we were out of there in under an hour. If you have 3 or so hours to spend for a mediocre meal, this is the place for you.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! Breakfast is great and I have tried multiple items there. Please be advised The strawberry pancakes do not come with a strawberry glaze syrup with strawberries in it, but instead it is just cut up strawberries sat on top of your pancakes, just thought I d mention that so you can save a coin or two because it is slightly pricey. The Coffee has only come in a small cup for $2.99 it s great I just wish I could get a larger cup for that price. **As of 2/18/2023** I found out this place is under new management and with that everyone knows the original experience is out the window I tried to call and order for 15 minutes they never answered the phone, I couldn t even order online .The pancakes I received weren t full and fluffy like they normally are and the grits were WATERY!! The breakfast burrito was delicious and the crepes had incredibly fresh berries. Tables were clean and our waitress quite pleasant and attentive. This was our go-to place when we needed an early and good breakfast, but today was our last visit. Came in at 7:30AM and the music was blasting. This is not an exaggeration or some guy that doesnt like pop music. It was so loud we couldnt have a conversation and we had difficulty communicating our order to our waitress. Even the waitresses were having difficulty talking to each other during the normal course of business. It wasnt pleasant for a Saturday morning. But the worst part was being forced to watch the Fox News Channel with captions turned on. Im sure this will encourage many new customers, but for me its completely disgusting and shows me what type of company Im giving my money to and I wont support it.

Chicken fried chicken though small in portion size was tender. That is about the only good thing I can say. This was supposedly the biggest thing on the menu. Yet it left me hungry and I dont eat big portions. Service was slow to say the least. Did get refills till we got our check. No cream was given for my coffee when asked numerous times. Will not be returning.

My Fiancé and I ate here for the first time this morning, and it was lovely! Clean dining area, great prices for a great amount of delicious food! This was a nice little surprise! Its off to the side and kind of hidden but the menu selection has a lot of variety and decently priced. The pancakes taste great. The chicken sandwich was to die for! They had a variety of healthy options. The service was great and the food came out quick and hot. The restaurant was clean. Theres only about 15 tables maybe (I didnt count) but its not a huge restaurant. I will be returning! Parking: Shared with another shop. Not a huge lot

Based on the recommendation of a friend, we tried this cafe for breakfast today. The food was very good. The menu is extremely varied. The coffee is excellent and the biscuits were amazing. The best part of the experience was Cordie (sp ?). She is the manager of the Lewisville location and was busy as Manager, hostess, server, and busboy (girl). She was welcoming, efficient, personable and surprisingly upbeat, given the shortage of staff. I highly recommend giving this cafe and Cordie a visit.
