Dont go when theres an event happening in town! They think its busy but to me it should be what they normally see on a Friday night. Anyway, plastic cups and to go boxes were how they served! Nothing echo friendly! Besides not being so busy you cant do dishes!?

Great environment, great food, friendly staff- Ashley is amazing, we ask for her every time! One of the owners came by and welcomed us every time we came here! Can t wait to catch some live entertainment here! Parking: Seems like there isn t much parking but we got front row spots the last 3 times we came!

I had quite literally the best espresso martini I have ever had in my life. The appetizers are to die for. If you want some amazing food and drinks AND service, this is the place for you! Ashley was absolutely incredible, she had great recommendations and they were all a 10/10!!

The food was very good. Its definitely much better than your average bar. I had a prickly pear cocktail that was sweet, but not overly so. We had a great time playing music bingo on Monday. There was street parking right in front of the door. The service was fast and polite. I plan on making this my regular Monday night. Dinner was about $20 per person. Drinks vary.

Excellent place to dine! Chef Jewel is an unbelievable cook! The most perfectly cooked salmon I ve ever had. Rico is a great server with great customer service! Eric their bartender/mixologist is fun and great with customers. Definitely give this place a try!

I so wanted to love this place...and with a few adjustments, I think it can get there. First, the good stuff. This place is beautiful and in one of my favorite areas of DFW (downtown Lewisville - seriously, walk a few steps down to Odin, it is a killer leather shop). My meal was great - a brisket grilled cheese with onion rings, the perfect pub meal. My son ordered a flatbread - which was actually really bad. I am not sure that the crust was an actual flatbread but it was flavorless. The cheese was stacked so thick in spots it was just a mess. Flatbreads are a great bar staple, I do hope they can pull this together. I will give them a few weeks then try again....they are doing so much right - I have faith.

Randomly stumbled upon State 28 when we were visiting from out of town. Super cute place, great food and friendly staff. We had the bang, bang shrimp, the western, and a quesadilla. Everyone left happy and full! No pictures because we ate it too fast!

Real food, fresh, in house recipes and delicious sauces. Its like home cooked if youre a good cook! Terrific service. They have a back entrance too. We had the brisket quesadillas, very good. Actually had filling in them unlike On the Border, Outback, etc. Real, high quality cheese too. Lol. Side salad terrific size!! That alone will have me back!! So tired of skimpy side salads. Blackened salmon was the perfect size!! It was thick, cook perfectly and it actually occupied a fair amount of space on their large plates. (Diner wouldnt let me photograph). Wonderful flavor but the sauce took it over the top!! Caesar salad was very good with house made Caesar dressing just the right amount of croutons. Its huge. The pic makes it look small but its not. A smidge more anchovies in the dressing would make it a perfect classic! Mashed potatoes are real!! Very good, but more butter and a little bit more milk and theyll be perfect. Service was outstanding!!! Cant wait to try the soup this fall!! Hoping for a classic French onion soup with a real, same size as the service cup crouton with provolone melted til golden brown on the edges like the old days (circa 1950s - 1980s). Thanks for making real food!!

We went here on a Sunday for lunch and the experience was so good we went back again later the same week. The food is excellent, and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. They also have late hours, staying open until midnight or after.

I got the state 28 burger. It was a very good, classic cheeseburger. Cooked med. well as requested. BBQ sauce was good, sweet, but good. Good red onion and super fresh lettuce and topped with excellent, fresh bun. I got the onion rings and they were damn good! They werent greasy, they were dry and crispy. Perfect. My only complaint is the pickles. I love pickles with my burger. The pickles were cheap and I got 3. Lousy. They need to up their pickle game. More pickles and better quality. My wife got a salad bowl with Chicken. Lettuce was fresh and ingredients were good. She was happy. OK beer selection, good enough for most people, Were happy to have them in downtown.

Had an awesome time visiting. Their service was awesome even on their first few days of being open. The staff was super nice and they seem to have their stuff together. The Club Sandwich was chef kisses and the margs were delicious! Great job guys knocking it out of the park.
