Fun version of Little Shop of Horrors the Musical. Lewisville Playhouse has always done amazing musicals. They have a magic touch making productions in a space that would scare other productions. Bravo!

As a visual artist, I love this place. Did somebody say plays? Ive been to a few plays here and they were hilarious, fun, engaging and just fantastic! I think Im going to need season tickets. Oh, and being a member of VAL (Visual Art League of Lewisville), I get to participate along with other artists, having my art hung on the wall, and for sale. Nice! I celebrated my birthday here and had an amazing time. Yall gotta come see a show. Dont forget to look at the beautiful display of flowers outdoors. Have fun. The theater is small and quite quaint. Nice outing!!

We saw Little Women this past Sunday. Very disappointed in the character changes and the performances, although I thought the actors who played Jo and Mr. Lawrence (the grandfather) were good. We chose to leave after the first act.

Lewisville Playhouse, formerly Greater Lewisville Community Theatre (GLCT) is in its 40th Season. Its a well-established theater in the DFW area and produces five highly entertaining comedies, dramas and musicals every season, along with a childrens summer acting camp.

Awesome little theater nestled in old Town Lewisville. The entrance is in the back of the building (which I love) and it is a great little theater to watch plays at. Ill definitely be going again.

This was my first time to visit The Greater Lewisville Community Theater. Its seating is limited, but nice. The air conditioning works well as it was 101 outside, and about 68 inside. A Gentlemans Guide to Love and Murder was surprisingly entertaining. The performers were well rehearsed and extremely talented. Well worth the money.

I love community theater! That being said, my husband and I were excited to attend the final performance of Godspell. We were very disappointed and disgusted. The performance was not of Godspell, but a woke and political interpretation of Godspell and should have been advertised as such. The director used a Bible-based play to make a political statement that not everyone agrees with and, had we known this performance was not of the original play, we would not have wated our time and money. ALSO, 3 of the 8 performers consider themselves nonbinary! That is, they consider themselves to be neither male nor female, which totally goes against Gods word in the Bible. How can they in good conscience portray characters that support and follow Jesus, yet do not accept themselves the way God made them?! This whole production was disgusting and I hope that in the future GLTC will differentiate between a play that is being followed as written and a play that is being interpreted to make a statement so that attendees are allowed to make a choice.

Wow! I just saw my first show here last night. The show was Next to Normal and the production was wonderful. The theatre is TINY, but that did not stop the entire production team from putting on a BIG show that did justice to my favorite musical of all time. At this point Ive seen numerous productions of this show, and this one ties for number one. Not only was the production wonderful, but I also felt that the theatre itself was a community of its own. Thank you to the cast, crew, and anyone else involved for creating a piece of art that I was lucky enough to get to enjoy.

Cute little theatre, and a nice, comfy box office area. So many couches to sit and chat during intermission and drink options makes me feel like Im at a favorite Aunts house. The theatre space isnt huge, but still had enough room for live orchestration for the musical I saw that evening. Overall I had a great experience.
