I tried Reina s Special, and it was both flavorful and satisfying. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you get. The atmosphere was fantastic, with vibrant Latin music that added to the overall experience. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, which I really appreciated. Tonight was my first experience at this restaurant, and I will be transparent. I am a decor & ambience fan, and when we arrived I wasn t that enthused with the esthetics of the place. my husband is a review junkie and this restaurant had amazing reviews. Anyway, the service was amazing, our waitress was amazing, they checked on us, and everything was brought out in a timely manner. I know my energy wasn t the best, but the waitress was still nice and pleasant. When the drinks arrived, it got better! When the food arrived! I was delighted! The food was amazing. The service was fantastic and everyone was very friendly. The food came out very quickly and was great! The stand out items were the swirl margarita, house rocks Paloma, Queso, and the Salsa. Even with the Texas heat outside the restaurant was nice and cool. They clearly thought through how to keep it comfortable inside. We realized they even have purse hangers and outlets at the bar! We ll definitely be back!

Awesome selection of Latin inspired dishes. I had fried plantains, pupusa s, carne asada made with skirt steak - very tender and flavorful!!. Wife had a tilapia dish with a white wine sauce with capers and shrimp. Met there with some friends from El Salvador and this is one of their favorite places to eat. Got right in at 11am - wasn t busy at all but a steady flow of to go orders were going out the door. I would go go back if ever in the area again.

Walked in very friendly staff, atmosphere is great. They did have happy hour, but only for frozen margaritas. Strawberry was thee BEST I highly recommend trying that one. Ordered the pupusas, I give it a solid 5/10. They were dry to say the least. Pork and cheese. Didn t taste the pork and not enough cheese more corn maza than anything. Salsa, beans and chips solid 8.98/10. Menu was kinda over priced the most affordable dish were the pupusas. I would probably give it another shot. I just hoped it was a little more authentic for the price.

For a Latin American restaurant this place was very underwhelming. I got the Pollo y Vino that comes with a white cream wine sauce. But the sauce seemed to have more of a sour cream consistency to it and whatever sour cream they used smelled fishy and sour like it was not fresh therefore rendering the chicken with a bad taste. Also for food and drinks, this place is way over priced in comparison to other Tex mex favorites in the area or Mom and pop places. Lastly, be mindful of their drink menu. A friend of mine was incorrectly charged a higher price for his drink because they have not updated their menu with correct pricing, which again is overpriced. We had to go back and forth with a staff worker so they could honor what was printed on the menu vs what they wanted to charge. This was my first and last time.

We picked up food to go on a Sunday afternoon after shopping in the area. We sat at the bar and had cocktails and chips and salsa while we waited. The cocktails were great and the salsa is now one of my favorites. They make most everything fresh in house. We had the veggie enchiladas and the enchilada combo and both were very tasty. First time to Casa Mia for an early lunch (11AM) and it definitely won t be the last. Mom and I were eagerly anticipating what we were hoping to be a good experience, and it absolutely blew us away! This visit ticked all the boxes in terms of Food, Service, and Ambiance. It was truly exceptional. I can t believe this place has been here for six years and we have lived across the highway all this time. Walking in, you immediately feel a sense of welcoming in an intimate, classy, high energy space. Wonderful first impression. This is a Family Business and one that you would be doing yourself a disservice for not stopping by. From the time we entered, we were immediately greeted and seated by John, the mixologist here. He and the chef in the back were truly the stars of the show. John introduced us to the establishment and spoke a bit about the history. He was expecting us (since we made a reservation online) so he had already reserved a table. He was more than happy to answer any questions we may have had about the Menu. Fortunately, we glanced at the Menu online beforehand in order to prevent any indecisiveness. Hot, Fresh Chips, Salsa, and Black Bean Dip (life-changing btw) were brought to the table first. The crunch and texture of the chip was perfect accompanied by the two dips and set the tone for the rest of the meal. 5/5 John then handed us the cocktail Menu and we ordered two Jalapeño Margaritas. Individually handcrafted with fresh, quality ingredients, this Margarita ranks right up there with some of the best we have had. The flavors of the lime juice and the jalapeño do a little dance on the palate and cut through with just the right intensity. 5/5 For entrées, I ordered the Reina Plate and Mom ordered the Chicken Enchiladas. Both excellent! Hot, Fresh, Cooked to Order, Tender, locked-in flavor, and complete bliss with each and every bite. I love places that don t over season or oversalt their food, simply because 1.) it retracts from the experience and 2.) we don t add salt to our food at home. The seasoning here was perfect! I wish more places were like this. The pickled cabbage, carrots, and sauce were the perfect accompaniments to the fried plantains, yuca, pupusa with cheese, and tamale wrapped in banana leaves. The Black Bean Dip and Rice was a nice touch as well. Portion sizes just right and that can be hit or miss on several establishments. Presentation and aesthetics were on point as well and I would give them 10 stars if I could! 5/5 for The Reina Plate 5/5 for The Chicken Enchiladas For dessert, we ordered the Chocolate Tres Leches Cheesecake, and it did not disappoint. Light, moist, and airy and the perfect way to end a meal. 5/5 We were the only patrons at 11AM on a Monday. We loved the individualized service and it truly felt like John cared about us. Based on our dining experience and attentive/friendly service, we wish to return for subsequent visits. Looking forward to the opening of your location in Little Elm. See you again soon!

WOW!! We stopped by here on a Friday night and were immediately impressed. When we first stepped in the restaurant, we immediately liked the chill relaxed vibe with smooth upbeat music, friendly staff and happy patrons. Our hostess was very friendly and quickly showed to our table. The service was quick and always with a smile. The chips, salsa, and black bean dip was perfect and the margaritas and micheladas were flavorful. We ordered the Yuca con Chicharron and Carne Asada y Camarones. The entrees were cooked to perfection and they were an explosive with flavor. The chef came out to greet us and it shows that Casa Mia has gotten it right. You can bet that well be regulars for now on.

It all starts with the salsa and chips. If they re not good, you know the food is not gonna be good. We were so lucky to find this diamond in the rough. Today my family had lunch at Casa Mia. Our server John introduced to his family owned and operated business. We met Johns uncle and even his grandpa. We learned that all the recipes are home made recipes. No wonder he was so proud tell us about the wonderful dishes that they have. This is hand down the best Latin restaurant that we have ever been to. We started with the fresh guacamole ***** that was so fresh and so good. I had the Beff chili rellano that melted in my mouth. My fiance Kitty had the ribeye steak that was perfectly cooked and everyone else at the table raved about their wonderful dishes. So the food was 5 stars and the service was over the top. John thank you for a wonderful dining experience. We will be back soon. We are also excited to hear the news of your new restaurant that will be in Little Elm!

Exceeded my expectations. Fresh food, fun atmosphere and amazing service. You can easily eat healthy here, if you want. Chips and salsa (and beans) are included with the meal, but the SHRIMP and STEAK were memorable on this visit. Reinas Super Special couldnt have been better than if it were prepared in the Dominican Republic. After the first bite, I was back in Santiago! Consistently one of our favorite places to grab some takeout. We love the bean dip and salsa, and their queso is great too. We also love the fried plantains. When we re not super hungry my wife and I split the appetizer sampler and it is more than enough food. Plus the staff is super friendly. Do yourself a favor and dine in at Casa Mia or grab some takeout. Please forego the DoorDash and GrubHub type sites and order it for pickup. One of the best Latin American restaurants in the colony, Lewisville, flower mound, Frisco, Plano area! Super low key. Great bar seating as well as four-six top tables. They have happy hour ALL-DAY Sunday - Thursday. They have a full bar and two TVs where you can catch a game if you d like. Their chips, salsa and bean dip are way better than Gloria s or any other Latin American restaurant in DFW. Hit me up if you have a different opinion but only do that if you ve tried Casa Mia s chips, salsa and bean dip first. They re also included when you dine-in. 100% recommend this spot

I absolutely loved this place. I stopped in after seeing it while running errands. I visited for the first time a few weeks ago, and it was absolutely delicious. I had the shrimp and chicken fajitas. The chips and salsa were also amazing. My server was super attentive and nice. I definitely will be returning to this establishment soon.

This place is AMAZING! The service from the moment we walked in was welcoming and friendly. Our server offered great recommendations and interacted well with our kids. My kids enjoyed their tacos and we loved the Salvadorian sampler plate. My favorite was the Salvadorian tamale and my husband loved the pupusa. The attention to detail is apparent, even the chopped salad was special, a generous portion with finely diced and shredded colorful veggies. It is clear the staff takes pride in the restaurant; it was clean and nicely decorated. Next time we are in the area we will dine here. Treat yourself and dine at Casa Mía!

The food is amazing! Ingredients are fresh and I loved the seasoning, the whole family enjoyed the meal, even my picky toddler. Was 100% a disappointment. We got there and ordered drinks, the drinks we ordered were all ice in the regular ones and then just a big ice cube in the other. When we presented it to the waiter he said it was cause it was a very fine tequila when clearly there was just all lime juice. This was a $15 drink. We showed him when we took the ice cube out most all of the liquid contents were very minimal. After that he got very short and rude, we tried to order food 3 times and clearly he had 0 interest in us being customers after our very minor complaint. We eventually ended up leaving and going to mi Cocina which was absolutely fantastic. I will never go here again and if anyone had the option mi Cocina is right down the street with better food and waaayy better drinks and the wait staff was incredible. If I could give this place a 0 star I would.
