According to the security guard, it is no longer open to public. It has been repurposed. The security guard was rude when speaking to me and my daughter. A few simple signs would have sufficed to let people know at the entrances to the building or even at the elevator bank that it is closed if they are so annoyed by people wanting to go up there.

Such a beautiful view!! Great place for photos!! Just go to the help desk on the main floor, and obtain a visitor badge, show Id and check in. The sky lobby is sometimes closed for events.

A free way to get a view of downtown Dallas from 40 floors up. Security might stop you in the lobby, and have you sign in. There are tables, it would be a cool place to have lunch.

I visited from out of town. Great view of Downtown Dallas. Free and not highly publicized but open to the public.

Great views of Dallas - and its free! Only catches are that its only open on weekdays and may be closed if there is a private event scheduled.
