UPDATE: Its sad that you as the owner dont even know the state of the park, but want to pretend someone not wanting subpar quality is mistaken. One pool had a small part of blue in it, Im assuming they tried to clean it a little. The one further down, not even a little. It was completely murky and the lake below was clean and fine. Even in your pictures on google, Im assuming you cleaned it that day, because the water doesnt look dark, mucky, green. How can you even blame that on lake water? Ridiculous. Especially when you clearly werent even actually there, because the park was practically empty. Still insanely dirty and messy, even outside of the water, however. Nice try though pretending it was a holiday hot spot. You can go be a crook, lying about something being a water park when there are barely even attractions, its not clean and they charge full price for young children, but that doesnt mean people wont call you out. Because they know you are running a scam and dont let people see the park before buying tickets. Meanwhile, pretend that people are supposed to thank you and make the best of it, when you offer them sewage. You are making a bunch of claims to once again make people think this park is something it isnt, there are only a couple of slides (all covered in brown muck), and then the dirty pools. We went to the actual lake and it didnt smell rotten and we had a blast. So your scam didnt ruin our holiday. Ill leave having fun in your bacteria ridden water to you, the owner, who stays away from your own run down water park. Have a great day. Original review: Absolutely horrible. The beach was some dirty sand nowhere near the water. The two pools were green, murky, slimy and had all sorts of debris floating around. We tried to ignore it, but after about fifteen minutes, the smell was too much, so we left and saw their sign: no refunds. Its no wonder why they dont give refunds. What a scam. Full price for kids too. Will post honest reviews absolutely everywhere for this awful place.

Absolutely love this place. Best food and the best view on Lake Travis. Super kid friendly. Poolside food and drinks. Several bars for the adults. Staff is incredibly friendly and go above and beyond. Its so close to town and an awesome drive to get there. Will be our go-to for the lake from now on.

False advertisement! There is no swim up bar, no beach as advertised. Just a marina for boat hookups. There are two rides that look like they can t hold more than 10 pounds each. Definitely not a place for adults. I would definitely only go if you have children and plan to stay in one place all day as it s very crowded and there are only four things to do; two pools and two slides. We asked for a refund 10 min after arriving and realizing our mistake and got denied. Waste of $90!!

Austin staple for lakeside fun. Fun way to spend a summer day beating the heat in Austin. It s right-sized for a local day at a water park without heading to SATX or Dallas. Food prices keep the expenses fair for families. Will continue to visit multiple times a year.

Place is a cesspool of germs and bacteria. Waterslide water pressure couldnt even push my toddler through so he climbed back up the slide when he got stuck and scared. Springfed pool is untreated swampy lake water. Toilets were full of feces and wouldnt flush. Soap dispensers were empty. My whole family got the nastiest strain of Hand Foot and Mouth Disease, a plague illness that I was unaware even existed. It was a nightmare.

This was our second visit to the waterpark and our first time staying in the Bungalows. We stayed in Bungalow 5, which was clean and stocked with kitchen, bath, and linen essentials. The queen-size beds were comfortable. As a Texas Realtor, I believe the daily rental price was fair. **Cons:** - The fans were filthy, but I cleaned them in less than 5 minutes. My daughter and I are both allergic to dust, so I always check for that. - The front room is warm during the day, but the fans helped. (I suggest servicing the AC regularly. It should stay cool if the ducts and everything are working correctly, regardless of the buildings age) The waterpark was a blast; my 9-year-old and 20-year-old both had a great time. The water was clean and cold. We were able to enter the park at 10:45am to get seats. Service from the restaurant was great. We ordered chicken and fajita quesadillas, which were hot and fresh. The drinks were on point! Shopping, Grocery Stores, Restaurants are all a short distance. I recommend the Oasis-right down the road and fabulous food. We also drove to Austin for the sunset/bat tour. I just wish Lake Travis wasnt so low. We planned to bring our boat but decided not to since we are not too familiar with Lake Travis. **Suggestions:** It would be nice to have early access to the park for customers staying in the bungalows. Opening the water park at 10 a.m. would be great for your business resort stays. **** For some reason it wouldnt let me upload videos...

It is a nice place to spend as a family, but you have to buy everything inside and it costs money. The day we came it rained and we couldnt enjoy the place enough, I think they should have offered us a refund since we only stayed for less than two hours. I want to add that the entire team of young people who serve are kind, polite, attentive and hard-working, they do an excellent job.

They have water rides, 2 pools, an amazing scenery of the lake in the background, and a DJ that was playing music. There were 3 different bars around the park that offered a variety of good food and great tasting drinks. Would highly recommend for a getaway to have some good quality fun.

Please do not let the pictures or any TikTok reviews for you. This is the dirtiest waterpark I ve ever been to. Granted it s only 15 bucks however it should be five maybe even two. The only reason we chose to go here is because there s a picture that implies that it has access and it does not there s literally no access. It s all rocks and dock for the boats. The only thing that was kept clean was the sand because there was a tractor making the sand flat, which doesn t make any sense cause no one was playing there sooo. we ended up going to the typhoon waterpark, which was 1000 times better don t waste your money.

The front desk is fun and helpful however they say no outside food or drinks ... but everyone has wagons with all kinds of drinks and food with ice poured on top . But yet we had water in a back pack and was told we had to take it back to our vehicle. The table next to us had a full on family feast watermelons whole and cases of soda and Gatorade . Not in a reserved area. So lesson learned if we ever come back our group of 20 will bring wagons full of food and waters because it is 100 degrees outside and hydrating is important.

Price listed here is not correct. At the entrance price per head is $20/adult and $15/kid. Water park isn t so bad. But very limited activities compared to closer water parks. Sad thing is nothing related to the lake. I never recommend their restaurant. No manager occupied. No place to order, order at the front and somebody took my food put in a bag. There are limited tables for the whole pool area with QR code to order online, but code doesn t work. Food served after 30 minutes, It s horrible, throw away all black color fries, might deep fried multiple times,. Do not order any food from that restaurant. It s waste your money and time ordering and waiting for food. Will possibly share some images with Austin health services for necessary instructions for the safety of other people who consume their food.

I debated giving 4 or 5 stars and settled on 5 to improve the overall rating as we would go again and had fun, and theres definite potential! My husband, myself, and 2 and 4 year old daughters went Memorial Day around 3:30 hoping many people wouldnt realize its open (its usually not on Mondays). It was our first time and I wasnt quite sure what to expect. It was a bit confusing at first as you pay to park in a random dirt lot and then walk a bit to the entrance where you pay $20/person (except 2 & under). The grounds, while mostly up-kept well in the main areas, could use some improvement in some of the non-main areas off to the sides (old yard tools/machinery, chipped concrete, janky sheds, etc). While the water was a bit dirty, I think thats hard to hold against them as its recycled from the lake and dirtied by people throughout the day. It was a bit crowded but not too bad, there wasnt really a wait for slides or anything, which was great. My kiddos had a fun time! We hung out at the toddler ship-pool for my youngest, then went to the bigger pool (which is still only like 4ft deep max) but had fun obstacle course thing, a small slide, water volleyball, and a waterfall mushroom. Our girls liked hanging there for a bit, then my oldest tried the two easier big water slides and loved them! My husband and I went down the twister slide thing which was pretty fast but also a bit rough on the back- maybe from the seams? Then we ventured down to the beach which doesnt exist anymore sadly because Lake Travis is so dang low unfortunately. So not much to do there although I did jump in the water near the marina to swim some while the girls looked for seashells along the shore. My husband ordered some drinks from the bar and said they were fine although he thought the bartender might be newer based on how she was making the drinks. The pool closed at 6 so we made our way to Beachside Billys (closed at 7) which is a cute restaurant overlooking the park/lake, and next to the sand volleyball pits and corn hole/fire pit section. I ordered the patty melt and my husband ordered the Texan burger, as well as chips with salsa/guac/queso. He liked his and I thought mine was decent. We ordered pizza slices for the kids but apparently that was an old special that didnt exist anymore so we re-ordered a kids quesadilla and the guy comped our bill for the mistake which was very nice. The staff were all very friendly and attentive (mostly younger kiddos it seemed), and the service was good. Overall we had a good time and will return!

Very disappointed..1st time here. Drove all the way from S. Austin. I was needing a relaxing retreat but this was not it.. And you may want to train your parking attendants about customer service. To park, I was informed they dont take debit/cc cards, only cash/venmo. As a 1st timer I had questions, but I was referred to read the sign, which i could barely see. Had to pull off to the side to figure out the venmo, had trouble finding it. I informed him I needed help and he then brings over a paper with a barcode I could scan... why didnt he do that in the first place?? And $10 to park, really? $15 to get in with only the pool. Pool was slimy, a lot of floating debris, warm, a lot of kids, and lifeguard blowing the whistle right in my ear every 5mins, omg! On a positive note the drinks were good, the rest of the staff were friendly and the view was pretty. But I will not be returning.

1. The water out of the faucet is SALT WATER. There is no warning sign above the kitchen sink. I filled my Brita water bottle and then took two huge gulps because I had just arrived and was very thirsty. Now I have a headache. The water that comes out of the shower is also salt water. So if you enjoy a water park with no drinking water, this is the place. They didn t even put drinking water in the fridge and it s $400/night. For that price, the resort can definitely afford to put a few water bottles in the fridge. We had to go buy drinking water from a nearby HEB. 2. There is NO INTERNET. You read that right. The TV has no cable and no internet. 3. The tiny, mediocre, misadvertised (the pictures don t match) room has a rude sign above the thermostat: Welcome to Texas summers. I ve lived in Texas my whole life so I assume that s a jab at their out-of-state customers. It s projecting on the customer their inadequacy as a resort. As a born and raised Texan, I can tell you Texas summers is not an excuse for inadequate air conditioning. If the resort management was gonna put a sign anywhere in the room, it should ve been a WARNING SIGN THAT THERE IS SALT WATER COMING OUT OF THE FAUCET. 1 Pro: The wait staff and management at the bar Beachside Billy s are amazing. They work hard. They care. And it shows.

Fun concept but needs a few updates especially for the prices they charge. Bathrooms are small and no AC. No changing rooms or showers. It s not super big and I m sure it would have been nicer if lake levels were higher. If you walk all the way down to the dock and jump in there the water is clear and cooler. As for the park, there are 3 slides and two pools. Pools are not super big but fun for 10 and under. Super crowded on the weekend. Pool felt a little unsafe with the amount of people and one teenage lifeguard at only 1 pool. They do use lake water which is a great concept. The downside is that the water is not super cold and does have some debris floating plus can be a bit cloudy. The signage says the water is untreated, however I was concerned how sanitary it is to have untreated water recirculating with the amount of people in the water. Either way kids had a blast and played all day.

We arrived on Friday afternoon of Labor Day weekend only to find the waterpark closed. We had four kids with us so we scrambled to find other things for them to do in the area. The cabins are dated and in desperate need of remodeling. Patch work everywhere. The water park pools also need resurfacing. The online pictures hide the flaws. I expected more for the money. About $1300 for 3 nights in one bedroom cabin. It is time to put some money back into the property. On the positive - The outdoor hill country is beautiful and situation is convenient with the cabins right across the street from the water park and restaurant.

Our children loved this place, and we did too. The kids ran around and played all day while we sat on the patio and watched them play while getting great food and drinks. The Philly and fries were surprisingly good. Everything was surprisingly good. There wasnt one thing that wasnt tasty. I asked for an old fashioned, but when the park is open they dont use glassware. Conner devised a ghetto old fashioned that hit the right notes. It was nice to walk across the street to the bungalow after drinking too many of those. All in all, we had a great weekend!

Loved this place. It was the perfect speed for me, and my 3 kids. Me and my brother hung out by the kiddie pool (pirate ship) with my 2yr old while my older kids 10 and 15 enjoyed the slides nearby. We had very hospitable services from the gift shop and also the diner. I was able to have a few cocktails from their bar and sink my toes in the sand while my kids wore themselves ragged in the pools.

Very dirty place. The lifeguards are careless, allowing children to jump into the pools that the slides have people coming down on. They allowed children to run right up in front of people who had been waiting in line for awhile. It was a complete joke. The owner said they never have any complaints and they are all about safety while there are children swimming in the pools made for the water slide people. I hope they shut them down. Definitely a death trap Waterpark. Also my wife was almost hit by someone due to the lifeguards not waiting until she was fully off the waterside. Just take your kids to emma long park. Much more safe. Will be calling the city, Im sure they have regulations for the safety or lack there of at places like this. Its nuts how they charge 16$ for a small bottle of sunscreen. I did however get a refund and even my money back for the 10$ parking.

We went to Volente on Friday, July 30, our daughter, her 2 year old, and us. We only paid for pools and beach as she is not old enough to do the big slides. We didnt use the beach though. The water in Lake Travis is really low right now, so the lake doesnt meet the beach in its usual spot. The pools use lake water with no chemicals. Our grandbaby loved doing the little slide in the splash pad pool, but she also loved the big pool. She swims pretty well. She liked jumping to us from the side of the pool and going down the frog slide. It was a super fun day, although I think $15 for beach and pools is a little high which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

Wasnt too crowded. I thought the pool was dirty then I learned it is untreated lake water and that made more sense. Not a fan of swimming in cloudy lake water with algea floating around though. Wasnt a bad experience but I would personally like swimming in a normal treated and cleaned pool.

My experience overall here was okay. The servers at the bar were receptive and friendly, and the wait for food wasnt terrible. The food itself was yummy, as were the margaritas. The pool there was jam packed full of patrons and there was no available seats. My husband and I ended up setting our stuff down on the concrete in a corner so that we could get in the pool. It doesnt seem like there are capacity limits, or if there are that they arent followed. Im thinking the reason the pool looked so dirty was because of how many people were in it. I headed down to the private beach as well, which was pretty disappointing. There is no clearly marked trailed down to it, so being in my flip-flops made the rocky walk a little tough as its a good distance from the park. Theres busy boat docks on either side of the beach, so you cant really swim anywhere other than inside of the small barrier that is set up. This would normally be okay but it seems that half of this already tiny area was being taken up by water polo practice for some local team. Overall, I dont really feel we got our moneys worth.

Also have like tiki store in the beach for water shoes and such. Other then that, this place is amazing, love lake Travis and the whole atmosphere!! Just beautiful!! Overall rating 5/5

The price for 13 people was a bit much since we couldnt get into the pool it was over crowded and so was the playscape for the kids so we payed for nothing basically. It is a bit rocky on the way to the floating dock. It was also very hot so I will try it again knowing exactly what I need to bring in next time. It was very clean!

Volente Beach is a privately owned and managed water park on Lake Travis thats been an Austin area icon since the late 90s. Its so laid back and relaxing, as well as fun for all ages! The lines to the water slides go quickly and the owners and staff are friendly and accommodating! My grandkids (teenagers) like it better than the big, commercialized water parks! Well be there often!

Came here for the beach area to enjoy Lake Travis during this very dry summer. Next time we will come prepared to stay longer with a cooler, beach umbrella, and tubes to sit in the water. No outside alcohol allowed, there is a bar right on the beach. Unlike the beach area where there is plenty of room, the pools were very crowded. There is a restaurant, area for sand volleyball, cornholes, and a small stage inside the park as well. Surprisingly, parking was not a problem on a Saturday afternoon.
