They say they make some things from scratch, but I am quite sure some are not. They insist, but Im a professional patissier and I know fresh when I taste it. The strawberry cream cheese French toast is not from pure fresh strawberries. Even though we told the server that we didnt like it, she still charged us for it.

We finally made it to Nick s for breakfast this morning and it was even better than we expected. Numerous people had recommended it and I see why. The food was incredibly tasty for all of us. Whether it was the stuffed French toast, the corned beef hash, meat liver skillet, or the western omelette - you really couldn t go wrong. The staff was really friendly and kept our water and coffee full and that is important. What a treat to find a new breakfast spot in Leander!

Walking into the restaurant . Your greeting from amazing service. You get seating ver quickly from the hostess. Our server was amazing and kept checking in with us constantly making sure we were well attended. The pancakes weren t the best pancakes I ve had personally . They pretty close to standard ihop pancakes . One thing I did love was the coffee. The favor was amazing and I loved it. The place does look old and looks like it used to be to be something else but nicks breakfast took it over . I would consider this a new breakfast spot but I d rather much go somewhere closer to eat breakfast as I live Al the way in south Austin. The food is typical and the same concept is throughout many places . We wanted to speak with the owner but got rejected pretty quickly to speak about his business as we heard nick (the owner ) works in the BOH . overall it is a good breakfast spot in Leander

I rate the food a 3.9. It was pretty good. Big portions, I even saw an organic tomato ketchup sauce on the table, which was nice. But I think, in my opinion, what really puts this spot into the 5 stars is the service. Quick. Very Friendly. Generous. Even if the food was a bit worse, Id still come here because the service was fabulous. however, it is a restaraunt so - the pancakes, French toast, and the stuffed French toast is all great, about a 8 on a scale of 10. The gravy was lacking- Id give it a 5 for being edible. The hashbrowns were good. Bacon is 10/10! Im picky about my bacon. I would come here again

We were scrolling on Google and found this place. What a great place! The staff was amazing. From the moment we walked in, everyone was smiling and greeting us. Then, Renald was our waiter. He promptly took our drink order and had it on our table within minutes with a glass of ice water nice not to have to ask for one, as he offered immediately. The owner came and checked on us and our satisfaction. Remold took our order and it was out within 4 minutes! Wow! And it was delicious. We were pleased with portion size and quality of taste. The restaurant had an inviting atmosphere. The bathrooms were clean. So glad to have found this place one of our favorites now. We will return often as the prices were reasonable. The staff was very nice. The restaurant looks appealing from the inside out. We went on a Sunday so there was a little wait. We were seated before the time we were quoted. Cassie was our server. She was excellent. The only complaint is that the apples on my waffle were cold.We were told thats how they come, so we know to ask for them to be warmed next time. The pork sausage are fat and delicious! The Farm House omelet was excellent, though the English muffin was also not toasted. The coffee was great. Cant wait for the next dining experience there.

I had the pleasure of meeting friends for lunch today at Nicks. The food was outstanding and plentiful. I was very impressed, Nick actually came out during a very busy day and stopped at each table to make sure everything was great. Great food! Decided to give this place a try. Awesome! Went at 925am on a Sunday. We just beat a large rush. Food was great. Coffee was great. Kids loved the pancakes. We will be coming back. I tried the #1 breakfast plate. Had a sample of everything. I saw other options being brought out to other tables. Will definitely be back to try the other options. This review is based on our to-go order experience. After reading many great online reviews, we decided to pick up breakfast on a Sunday morning. This place was packed when I went to pick up our food-a line of people waiting out the door. It took about 45 mins to get which is a little long in my opinion, but alas we were excited to try everything. We ordered some meat lovers omelettes,pancakes with chocolate chips, and some french toast. While the eggs were good-a nice hearty portion , the hash browns and toast were very underwhelming. The hash browns came out soggy and didn t have any flavor, and our sourdough bread was inedible-hard as bricks. The pancakes and french toast were good, but the pancakes had way too many chocolate chips in my opinion-it seemed like a full bag of chocolate chips were poured on there, ha! Overall, pretty average breakfast-wasn t my favorite. I m going to chalk it up to an off day and getting food to go. I d be willing to try again in person at the restaurant in the future.

We decided to try this new breakfast place on a Sunday morning around 9:30am. They were pretty busy but we were seated immediately. Our server came over in a matter of minutes to take our drink order, while we reviewed the menu. My husband spotted breakfast plate #1 that includes 3 eggs, 2 bacon, 1 sausage, 1 ham and toast; and ordered that. I decided on the meat lovers skillet. Our food was delivered to the table quickly, was hot and very tasty. When we went to leave there was quite a bit of people waiting to get in. My suggestion would be to arrive early on a Sunday morning to get in quickly or you may be waiting for quite a while. Show this restaurant some love so they stay around for a while. We need good breakfast places in Leander!!!!

Super yummy breakfast I had, it was my first time here. Reasonably priced. Pancakes are good. Unfortunately, the waiter never checked to see if we needed anything after the food was delivered. I needed a refill on my coffee but he never came around for that, it was busy so maybe he was just overwhelmed. Also, the bathrooms definitely needed some cleaning. Only a couple of minor things but I ll definitely be back.

We came to Nick s for the first time today after reading all the excellent reviews. We were very pleased with every aspect of our experience. Renald, our server, was an absolute delight. As soon as were arrived we were immediately greeted and seated with a smile. Our server was prompt and pleasant. The food was excellent, fresh and delicious! Husband and I tried Nicks today off Crystal Falls and its solid good home cooking! We will be back w the kids. The chicken fried steak is covered in sausage gravy, the Supreme meat skillet is filled with nice cuts of bacon, sausage, ham ext w cooked to order eggs on top. I would like country fried beef but came with sausage gravy and I shared with him that I don t eat pork so he said next time let him know and he will make gravy without sausage. My family and I came for breakfast this morning, and it was lovely. You can tell by how well they poach their eggs, that they are serious about breakfast food. The sausages were wonderful, the bacon was crispy but not crunchy, the toast was fantastic and the coffee was amazing. For me I had what they have listed as a breakfast pita, which is like a breakfast burrito but in a pita bread. The pita bread was freshly made, or at least it tasted like it was, and it was fantastic. My children had various different things, but both of them ended up with some pancakes. My son loved his and devoured them which, he doesnt always do. My daughter wanted chocolate pancakes and those were great. They took wonderful care of my family, and I think we will be back again soon! Wheelchair accessibility: My mother was able to wheel to the booth we were in without any issues, and the door is wide enough for a wheelchair to come in. Im not sure about the bathrooms though.

We re thrilled that Nick s breakfast and coffee has recently opened in Leander! We desperately needed a good breakfast place here! Good news, they serve breakfast and lunch every day from 7AM to 3PM. Its been awhile since we found a place that has great food, great service, and affordable prices. Food portions were generous, the menu was varied, coffee was fresh and good, and service was friendly with a smile. The seating was roomy and not full of tables.
