Fried Green Tomatoes Breakfast: excellent tomatoes and sauce, perfect eggs. Hashbrowns puck was bland. Porky Burrito: tasty and generously stuffed, potatoes cooked crispy as I asked and they were perfect too. Breakfast Grapefruit: cut it half on a plate with no special spoon for you to figure out how to eat. Disappointing. They forgot my pancake: oh well, I guess I did not need the calories anyway. Service was good and attentive.

The food here is great. I ve been twice and my husband and I have both enjoyed our meals. I particularly enjoyed the tex-mex Bfast tacos. The only reason I m giving 4 stars is because the coffee is not good. I ordered a latte the second time we ate here and it was horrible. It s like they had made the latte with water versus milk or something was wrong with the espresso shot. I didn t even finish it.

We visited on a Sunday morning so the place was quiet. Our waitress was sweet and attentive and we received our food and drinks quickly. My husband ordered a red bull refresher and the Hash plate with sunnyside up eggs and bacon. I ordered a white chocolate mocha with the breakfast sandwich with chicken sausage. We could only finish half our plates! The flavors were great and the ingredients tasted fresh. The breakfast potatoes had a crispy outside and soft inside. Next time well be trying some of the other available flavors.

We were looking for a place to eat and happen to find this place. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed. We were seated almost immediately, even thought the place was packed. Inside is big enough for about 30-40 people to seat and eat as they also have some tables outside. The service was fast and friendly. The menu items are as advertised. I had the smoked salmon bagel which was perfect. It had the right amount of everything and was pretty filling. The price is what you would pay anywhere else so it was pretty good. The food took some time to get to the table, but Id rather wait for some fresh made food anyway. We got here right before the lunch rush and it was filling up quickly, so you might expect a waiting time. Customer service was great. Definitely coming back.

I got the Porker Burrito, and it was phenomenal, the chipotle aioli was such a perfect touch to a well crafted meal. The crispy golden potatoes are everything youd want for potatoes, not overcooked and not underwhelming. I also got an espresso with vanilla, condensed milk, and 2 shots of espresso, and it was honestly the best and smoothest espresso Ive ever had without the over sweetness and withoutlack of espresso The owner is present in the store, creating bonds with his patrons. Thanks to him, we found out that the spectacular plates arent just a well designed meal but well thought out ingredients.The owner provides fresh hand-made food without the desire to cut corners with artificial foods and additives.

We really enjoyed our experience here! The portions are pretty good, presentation of food is great. I love avocado toasts and this exceed my expectations. Loved the pickled onions and the lemony zests with the feta cheese on top, meshed amazingly! I also really enjoyed the arugula salad at the bottom of my plate I got a side of garlic and herb potatoes and they were also very tasty. Their ranch is pretty good as well. My husband and I were speculating it tasted homemade and got confirmed by the owner that it is homemade! The owner of the place is nice and friendly. We really liked his views on food and ethics on not using additives, chemicals to cut corners and pump out food right away or any other extra ingredients that are low quality. So if you value good quality ingredients and food made from scratch then you ll enjoy this place even more. We will definitely be back!

The food was horrible! Cold, not fresh, tasteless and had hair in it. Service was not as bad but not good either. Pricing was ridiculous. The restaurant wasn t super clean. The waiter was able to get money taken off our bill since we didn t eat more than a couple bites. Sorry but we won t be back.

This is one of my favorite café in Mansfield ,not only are the staff wonderful( Elizabeth, the barista) and the owner will come up to your table to make sure everything is going well, I am so grateful he recommended and gave me a sample of his chai tea. OMG! Best chai ever. I go back at least minimum once a week for my tea and they have a little side drive-through where you can pick your coffee or tea up so fresh and of course the food is everything.

The service, food quality, and portions are exceptional! Their eggs, pancakes, bacon, and home fries standout because you can tell theyre made with love by someone who knows what theyre doing. They dont skimp on chocolate chips in chocolate chip pancakes, the eggs are buttery/light, the bacon is made exactly how you ask for it, and the home fries are perfectly crispy! This is my favorite breakfast place in Mansfield. I cleaned my plate which is rare for me!

Came for brunch around 11-ish on a beautiful Saturday morning. The wait for 2 was about 20 min, so its not too bad if you arent starving. We adore Hearth Cafe. The staff in particular is always so kind- when I was pregnant they were so sweet to me and made sure I had everything I needed, and when we take our little one they are also very kind and accommodating. I don t know if we got a bad batch or something but the brisket was the saltiest thing I ve ever had. Made me shiver! It tasted like I was just putting salt on my mouth and I love a good seasoning but holy moly I ve never had brisket that salty before. The coffee machine was also broken, however that wasn t anybody s fault and the customer service was amazing! Everyone was very lovely and they gave us some free vouchers to come back and try the coffee! We also tried the huevos rancheros. It was a little under seasoned but still pretty good. Had a snicker doodle latte and a few potato egg and cheese breakfast tacos. Both the coffee and the tacos were excellent. Everyone was very friendly and eager to help you find what you wanted from their menu as well as give recommendations that may not exist. The atmosphere is relaxing even though the place is a bit busy but busy usually means its a decent place. The latte wasnt too sweet and the coffee they used is definitely excellent quality with no bitter aftertaste and a very smooth finish. I will definitely be coming back to get more breakfast tacos and some coffee. They make a lot of things in house so dont be afraid to ask them about it if you are curious. They are very friendly and open which is refreshing and welcoming, looking forward to trying more of their menu items!

Out of town visitor and my child brought me here. The latte I had was amazing. I got the Hearth Club and there was nothing special about it all. Food was good, pancakes are large and fluffy. However, this restaurant has hidden fees not listed on their menu. I ordered the breakfast tacos and was charged extra for my meat choice. The only 2 options on the menu for breakfast tacos meat are either chorizo or brisket, which I ordered. No upcharge mentioned. When I asked for an explanation, I was told It s premium meat, so we charge extra. The breakfast tacos come with a side of potatoes either regular or spicy. I chose to make mine spicy (which actually weren t spicy, they were just heavily seasoned). I was also charged extra for making my potatoes spicy. Again no mention of an up charge for this on the menu, however my bill said otherwise. Pay attention to your receipt when you get it.

This place is great! I m visiting from out of town and went out to a couple of different breakfast place. Hearth Cafe is by far the best. The homemade salsa was delicious with many different flavors and goes well with their porky breakfast burritos, which wasn t too wet or dry. Their owner Will is gray and very friendly. Where do I begin? We just arrived from Fort Worth after my mother in law had her last session of Chemo and was looking for a good meal. We walked in at 2:10 pm, not knowing if we were gonna be able to stay due to the hours of operation closing at two thirty p m. We were greeted with a warm smile, and a yes, come on in, please have a seat.. My mother-in-law and my aunt in-law had themselves a very nutritious meal and enjoyed every bite of it. Even complimenting on the fact that it was not too greasy. I had myself a very second delicious burger made with truffle oil on the brioche bun... absolutely astounding! Joshua, our waiter was excellent, fast, friendly, focused, and never rushed us during our meal. Im not one to enter a restaurant in the waning minutes before closing, but it was our first time, and again, she was hungry after her last treatment. We were given the red carpet on a Friday afternoon during the hot Texas summer. Thank you, Joshua, lovely hostess who greeted us and Hearth Cafe for an incredible meal!

My husband and I stopped by here and Im really glad we did. The food was amazing! I ordered a loaded breakfast croissant with bacon and they did NOT skimp out on the loaded part. It was also on one of the tastiest croissants Ive ever eaten. My husband did the build-your-own scramble and they really loaded his eggs with meat and veggies. The service was also excellent. We ordered a couple brownies to go and they were wonderfully moist and delicious. My only complaint is the coffee... it just wasnt very good. I had an iced creme brulee latte and it literally just tasted like too bitter coffee and milk. Someone sitting next to me also complained about their coffee, so Im thinking they might need to work on however they brew it or buy higher quality beans. This is honestly the only reason I cant give this place 5 stars.

I have liked this place before, but today was not great. The decaf coffee was very bitter. I told the waitress, but still got charged $3.50 for taking one sip. Then, the breakfast tacos were mostly cheese and very little meat. And the worst part was the waitress uses bare hands to touch silverware, butter balls for pancake topping, etc, and she proceeded to sneeze into her hands and wipe it onto her pants. We will not be back. We paid a lot and should have just gone to First Watch.

The place is small, so there is limited seating. The food portions are huge. Definitely will be taking to go each time. I got the hash, and I got chorizo with it. The dish was a bit bland, but a little salt did the trick. The pancakes was big too.

The Hash on the breakfast menu was outrageously good. I ordered the pancake with it - it is handmade and perfect ( and Im not usually a pancake man ) . The secret delight is the homemade garlic ranch dressing. Whatever you order, try the ranch on the side. The owner is taking care of all tables and guests. Service is so good . Even the plating is top notch. Presentation, taste, professionalism. Dont miss this place!

I will always give Hearth Cafe a 5 star review, that is until you want to order togo food 15 minutes prior to closing. It was 2:16, today, Monday, May 1st, when the order was placed. Yummy place super friendly chill staff. Out of town and love to eat try new boutique non chain restaurant when we travel and this place is not to be missed! Got Avacado toast and the toast is just the right thickness of and flavorful, kids croissant egg sandwhich was delicious and rather large choice of protein I got the ham and was again moist and delicious not dry and chewy. Plate is good size for sharing.

Absolutely loved this place. Very cute little place which is one of the reasons why I loved it. Perfect for a brunch date with the girls or weekday lunch day with your honey. The food was so good. Checked the place out on a Tuesday morning. There wasnt a wait and we were seated promptly. The service was very welcoming and fantastic! I tried a latte and it was very rich and delicious. The pancakes are thick and a generous size. The smoked salmon toast was very good and had an interesting combination of flavors! Well be coming back to try some of the other dishes! The place does have a drive through. And they also serve mimosas.

We had a wonderful experience at Hearth Cafe! This was my second time there and we came 15 minutes prior to closing and they still sat us down. The food was good and the portions were generous. I had the pancakes, which were nice and fluffy but so big they were sticking out of the plate. I was so stuffed that i had to box about half. The service was pleasant (without being obsequious) and efficient although he did forget the refills that we had asked for. I like how there are seats for people waiting in line to be seated instead of being made to wait outside like a lot of other brunch places. From what I saw, a lot of parents brought little children and the place seemed kid friendly. The (unisex) restrooms were clean and spacious.

My husband and I just enjoyed a delicious breakfast here. Although my order was initially incorrect (I had asked for buttermilk pancakes and was brought chocolate chip pancakes), the owner, Will went out of his way to fix the order and in less than five minutes I had my pancakes! To me this is a 5 star rating, not only is the service outstanding but the pancakes were absolutely delicious! I haven t had original, home made pancakes like this in a very long time. Pancakes were spot on fluffy. My husband s sausage patties were man sized and very flavorful. He thoroughly enjoyed them. We drove all the way from Waxahachie as there is nothing in town aside from IHOP. The drive is worth it and we feel that we finally found our Sunday morning spot after months of searching. Breakfast and good service are simple things that should not be complicated. We will definitely be back.
