Food was horrible. Definitely not authentic Chinese food but American version. Ordered 4 dishes and all were terrible. Crab Rangoon, Moo Shu pork, Moo Goo Gai Pan chicken (completely tasteless), Honey Walnut shrimp. Way overpriced as well. Worst Chinese food I have had in a while. Such an overpriced disappointment.

What a delightful little gem! Went today with my two little Tasmanian devils (also sometimes known as my kids, ages 3.5 and 1.2) because I wanted someone else to cook dinner for a change. The food was delicious! I got the kids chicken lo mein, took the shrimp fried rice for myself, and took the sesame chicken for hubby to-go (which he wolfed down once the kids were in bed, said was also delicious). Very generous portions, even on the kids meals, and priced very reasonably. Staff were so friendly and kind! I feel bad for the mess my kids left on the floor. Would definitely come back to try more of the dishes. Nov 2023 My rating, 5 stars being best - Overall: - Food: - Service: - Location: - Pricing : We went for lunch and it was not too busy although about half the tables were taken. Friendly staff especially Amy made us feel very welcome. She checked in multiple times during the meal. We ordered the shrimp with lobster sauce and veggie delight. The lunch menu is a little light on vegetarian options although Amy did say they can modify a dish (not substitute) to make it vegetarian- I understood it to mean that they won t replace meat with tofu but rather you can ask them to hold the meat and then a meat and veggie dish becomes a veggie dish. I did suggest Amy that it would be good to see 1-2 more veggie specials on the lunch menu. Lunch does come with a choice of brown rice or white rice or noodles and choice of egg roll or soup. The food is fresh, the prices are affordable and the location is great for us! Overall this restaurant is a keeper and we will visit again very soon!

Ive had Lins many times - its a repeat favorite for dine-in, takeout, or delivery. Their food is all delicious and a great value with very reasonable prices for the portion sizes. Favorites are the Singapore rice noodles, fried rice, and the hot and sour soup, but everything Ive had has been great. I did notice some negative reviews about portion sizes of some of the dishes, and I can say that the fried chicken style dishes like General Tsos and Sesame Chicken have somewhat smaller portions, but these are also lower priced items. Pair them with some delicious fried rice for a great meal with leftovers!

Not sure there was chicken in the tangerine chicken. It was basically a bowl full of orange soggy dough. I don t leave many reviews but this was such a flagrant ripoff I had to. They separated the sauce for The sweet-and-sour chicken, so it would stay crispy, but didn t bother for the tangerine chicken? The sweet-and-sour chicken was lacking also. We ordered for delivery. Maybe they treat you better if you sit down inside.

We purchased take out and ordered some of the chef specials. Pricing seemed not too bad for Chinese food. The food, however, was mediocre and not that tasty. The Happy Family entry had beef, chicken, scallops,and shrimp. All the meat had no flavor and was tough and over cooked. The chow mein was Alfredo pasta noodles-very thick and had very little vegetables in it. It was not good at all. I would rather pay a little more and go to sky fusion and have something better tasting and enjoyable. Nice people and service, but the food needs some work.

Great! Been looking for a good Chinese place since we moved here from Illinois. Not a ton of seating inside, there are a few tables outside. Service was good and friendly. The General tsos chicken was big chunks of white meat not he little bits and pieces you often get, had a nice kick to the flavor but not super spicy, just right. First time at this new(er) location. Looked nice from the outside and the pics but was a little sparse...very lightly decorated, not much atmosphere - maybe theyre not done setting it up? It didnt feel warm and inviting after going inside but the food and service was great. I get the impression its geared to take-out/delivery. They have deep fried pot stickers which was different. First time trying here and we found some good and not so good things. Good: The wonton soup and fried dumplings were delicious! What I liked most was that the dipping sauce for the dumplings was something other than just straight soy sauce. It was maybe a little sweet for my taste, but it was still really good! Not so good: My wife got the beef and broccoli and I got the chicken fried rice. The texture of both the beef and the chicken were pretty off putting. The both were really fatty and lacked flavor. Great find. I work a lot in the Austin area and always looking to try new places and of course being Asian, that is my preferred choice. Well this place makes my top 10 Chinese restaurants in Austin for the lunch price pint of under $10. I order the General Taos Chicken and it was very good. Great service, great flavor, and great portions! There arent a ton of carryout options in Leander/Liberty Hill, especially not good asian food. This restaurant is definitely at the top of my list now. The service was fast, prices were fair, and the flavor was great! Definitely looking forward to going back. Parking: Plenty of parking.

Finally a delicious and authentic Chinese restaurant has landed in Leander! Lived in this town for 5 years and was disappointed with all of the Chinese restaurants until now. We had a dinner gathering and ordered takeout from Lins Cafe II for the first time. Everything we ordered was delicious and perfectly seasoned. We had Hot & Sour Soup, Wonton Soup, Sesame Chicken, Honey Walnut Shrimp , Szechuan Style Sliced Chicken, BBQ Pork Lo Mein, Mongolian Beef, and Fried Rice. The staff was so attentive and polite. They packed all of the food well to transport safely to our friends home. The restaurant was super clean and well lit. Were looking forward to trying so many more dishes offered on their extensive menu!

I came in dine and order take out for wife. I had Sesame Ball appetizer. Great taste and surprise in the center. Kung-Pao chicken for dinner, extra peanuts. So good and taste delicious as it should be. So glad Lins Cafe II is open.

5 stars all the way. This new place popped up on google maps when I was looking for Asian food today. Fantastic all around! I got Thai chicken basil with white rice. Taste was great! Vegetables very crunchy like how they re supposed to be. What made it even better was the hostess offered me hot chili oil, which is homemade at the restaurant. This pushed the flavor over the top! Highly recommended. Portion was small, yet was fair for price. My wife got the Shrimp lo mein. She s big on noodles and shrimp and this checked all her boxes. Shrimp was grilled and cooked to perfection. Noodles were perfect texture and cooked just right. Flavor was off the charts. She too added the homemade chili oil. Her only complaint was that the lo mein had hardly any vegetables. Shrimp portion and noodles were very fair for the price. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Amy went out of her to check on us more than once. Best service I ve had in a restaurant in many years. We were extremely satisfied by the prices, quality of food, taste and service. Highly recommended. High 5 stars!

Very fresh food, friendly staff. Broccoli beef was exceptional, orange chicken was really well balanced, Mo Shu pork was smoky and delicious. Great experience, coming back for lunch soon.

One of the best Chinese food I have tried recently. Rightly priced and quality is of high standard. The egg rolls and hot & sour soup is a must try. The chicken in the fried rice was perfectly cooked and very tasty. Can t wait to try lunch menu. Good luck guys and keep up the same service.
