Loved the staff here was amazing and the hostess was so accommodating. Jaliscos was clean and decorated very cute. We had a group of 20. Our only complaint was the food. The chips were a bit stale and salsa wasnt hot at all felt watered down. Now my dish was appetizing, but most of our group said it just was up to par as always. We will try again another night.

I have been eating at this spot since it was the old La Bodega. They are off the beaten path and so I forget that they are here sometimes. We went again after church on Sunday. We beat the rush and we were seated immediately. Our waitress was there almost as soon as we set down with chips and salsa. The waitress was very attentive and kept checking on us regularly. She was quick with any request and to refill the chips. The food never takes long to come out and it is always great. We have never had a bad experience here. We will be back. We highly recommend you give it a try.

Stopped here for some Saturday morning breakfast and they sat us in Kaylee s section. She recommended the Pozole and it did not disappoint. She brought us some red chile de árbol salsa to add for some extra spice! Kaylee is such a kind a happy person she added to our already pleasant visit! Pozole was perfect and so was our side tacos of beans with chorizo. I definitely recommend this spot for any meal when you re in Lubbock.

We tried to order the beef fajitas for two. The guy brought out two separate barbacoa plates. It did not have the usual set up of cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes on the side. We tried to just move past that. Tried to order some drinks. I order the Herrudura Ultra. I even specifically pointed to it as Im sitting next to the bar. It didnt come out the way I ordered. A manager came out, and I specified again what I had ordered, and while still charging me $16 for a premium drink I watched the lady literally pour me a margarita with casamigas well tequila. This place is usually top notch. IDK what the hell was happening this day tho. It was an utter failure all around.

It is always packed which is a good thing but the food isnt as good as before. The waitress was awesome. Plate of Carne guisada only had 5 pieces of meat. When I checked out, the lady was a little rude about 4 cents so I left her extra change for the next person who has to dig for change. Waitress was awesome.

As soon as we got inside the door the host gave me a bad vibe. You could tell he didn t even want to be there, he walked away even with the walk way blocked with people leaving. I was very put off by him, but as soon as we got to our table our server/waitress was phenomenal. Kalee was awesome talked to my son himself for what he wanted, my husband and I got something not even on the menu and it was the delicious. Hands down best Mexican food in Lubbock! Will be back I ll just ignore the host. Kid-friendliness: The waitress talked to my son himself I didn t have to tell her what he was going to have. The kids menu was extensive.

This is a great authentic Mexican restaurant I found using Google Maps. It is very well liked by the locals. The food here was outstanding. The service was excellent. My server made great menu recommendations. Their salsa is great and they have a large selection of domestic and Mexican beverages. There is plenty of free parking in their large lot.

I love this restaurant! Whenever I am in Lubbock, it is my favorite! I usually order their Street Tacos but, today my friend and I both ordered Torta Pastor. It was delicious and filling. Packed with flavor! The salsa is great! Another trip was Shrimp Cocktail, Quesadilla (ala carte), and Guacamole! Parking: Lots of parking paved spaces. The restaurant looks small on the outside but it is not.

Pleasantly surprised that it was not the normal Tex-Mex offerings on their menu. The staff was very friendly and we only had a 5-10 minute wait in a late Saturday night. The restaurant was clean and enough spacing of the tables it didn t feel crowded. The pinto beans were amazingly flavorful. The beef enchiladas with queso had a good choice of meat inside. The hot sauce was just a tad spicy for me. Would recommend and we would return. Parking: Paved lot with ample spots and another across the road. Wheelchair accessibility: Fully accessible and navigable for anyone in a wheel chair. The only concern would be the double door entry where you come into one door and then have another door within the right space to open.

Terrible experience. My cocktail tasted really bad. I told the waiter and he said I had to talk to the manager about it. Its a good place to eat. Clean and quiet, customer service is friendly. My husband and I ordered shrimp and fish broth and a seven seas which were very spicy and with a lot of ginger and pepper flavor, I had never eaten a shrimp and fish broth with so much cabbage, very little fish and shrimp and without its rice on the side, the seven seas the same without rice, and very little seafood that is too spicy we came to visit Dallas Texas and we didnt like it, and we also feel cheated by the price, its not worth it, theres very little of what they serve
