Let s make Zesty wrap great again! I come every weekend. I eat every time same meal. It s all started when I got the best wrap with sweet potatoes fries in my life! But since then it s a lottery. I was thinking it s different chefs and tried to come consistently on different days. I found that when it s Joel or Miguel at the kitchen, the chances of getting the best wrap are high. But sometimes fries are mushy, sometimes are overfried. Needless to say that stuff is very friendly and fixing things promptly if smth is wrong. I ll keep coming every weekend and keep posting the status of zesty wrap with sweet potatoes fries.

Ive genuinely tried to enjoy this café because when the order is correct, the coffee tastes great, and the staff is generally friendly. However, Ive consistently experienced issues with my usual order a double shot of espresso. Often, I receive either a single shot, drip coffee, or an Americano, which isnt what I asked for. This happened again today, and I had to discard the drink as it wasnt what I wanted. Its disappointing because when the order is accurate, the coffee is excellent, but there seems to be a 50-50 chance that Ill actually receive what I ordered. This inconsistency is frustrating and unfortunate. Response: I understand the difference between an Americano, drip coffee, and espresso, and I know how ice affects a hot drink. That doesn t change the strength or bitterness of the coffee for me. I ve ordered this hot as well, and there s still inconsistency. Two baristas always get it right, whether it s hot or cold, so I know I m not always receiving the same order. My last order was supposed to be a double shot of espresso over ice, but my cup was half-filled with ice, espresso, and then topped with water, which is essentially an Americano not what I ordered. The barista, who often makes mistakes with my order, gave me a look that made it clear she knew it was wrong. Instead of ignoring my feedback, I feel like I m being argued with about what I know I received. It s frustrating because I always compliment your coffee when it s made correctly.

Perky Beans Coffee isnt too far down the road from where we live. Love the atmosphere and their lemonade refreshers are just what you need on a hot summer day. Kassie was very kind and polite and helped me find a drink that I ended up loving. If you see her behind the counter while youre there shell be sure to give you excellent service

PB Cafe in Leander is a breakfast gem! The Egg Benedict sampler was spot-on, with perfectly cooked eggs and delicious flavors. The house potatoes are a must-try. The Cinnamon Roll French Toast was just right sweet and satisfying. Our server, Rebecca, was fantastic, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!

Beware they have an online waiting process only. No one at store no one waiting around I walk up to get breakfast and I am told it was 45min. I look around there is no one waiting or anything. She told me they are at home waiting there and they call to let them no it s time. I am in front of her with two tables open and I had to wait 45 min. That s just crazy to me.

I really enjoy the Southwest Skillet here! The spicy kick from the sauce perfectly cuts through the richness. It s close to my place, so I ve come by for breakfast a few times, and it s always packed, which says a lot about its popularity. The food is consistently good, but I ve had a couple of experiences where I wasn t greeted upon entering, which felt a bit unwelcoming, especially given how busy they are. Apart from that, the food makes it worth the visit.

Ive now eaten at this location three times and it has been nothing short of amazing and delicious! The service is professional, knowledgeable and with a great personality. Im sorry I didnt take any pictures but Ill definitely do it from now on. I would highly recommend this place for breakfast or brunch. Love this place and will definitely be looking forward to going back again! Ummm Im kinda hungry and Im probably going to go today. And there has never been any problem with my having my Service Dog with me. Been there on the weekdays and the weekend and its just an awesome place to go! This is the third time we ve been there. First time as a large party of 10. We got there with no expectations, knowing we might had to wait and we were fine with it because we had family Visiting and all we wanted was to have them try one of our favorite dishes there (banana French toast) so as we arrive @ around 1:30 I go inside and ask if we could get on the waiting list for 10 people. Place looked full but as I was standing asking about us getting on the waiting list, at least three tables were done and walked out . I ve been in the restaurant industry for more than 20 years (back of the house and front of the house as well) so I understand how seating can affect the kitchen flow. So I asked Jay the hostess how long would the wait be, and not very nicely she answered well, about 1 to 1 1/2 hours. But by the time I seat you we are pretty much gonna be closed so we can try to squeeze you in. And I could tell they were just finishing with a crazy wave. But I saw at least 6 empty tables. At the same time this couple of elderly came to ask if they could get a table for 2 and Jay answered the same way I think she told him well you are gonna have to wait about 40 mins or so. And he was like, but I see a lot of empty tables (I also understand that maybe they were short staffed and ok, you need to give the kitchen a break we ll be nice to people who want to enjoy the food there and tell them that! ) just mentioned that you can seat them in about 10/15 mins once the flow goes back to normal and trust me WE will understand. He was pretty upset and told her but I don t see any people waiting and she said well we do have a waist list. Anyways I believe they left. I ask her if we could please be seated separately we didn t really care, all we wanted was to our family visiting to try the food there. She was very rude when she replied well of course I can seat you separately but that means you are not going to be close to each other and you might get seated at different times. And I said sure thanks. Well 5 minutes later, they sat a couple on a table for 4. And right after that they sat half of our party (4 adults) on one side of the restaurant and 2 minutes later they sat the rest of us (4 adults and my 5 year old twins) in a table for 4. I was like we are good two of us sat them on our laps. This 2 four tops were right next to each other. She totally had the option of seating us there together but she decided to split us up. I really didn t wanted to be rude so we just sat where she said. I asked if I could put an extra chair on the table for one of my kids and Jay again said NO because it would block the waiters from walking and allthough it didn t I understood that for safety reasons it might not be ok. Before we got our food most of the restaurant was empty I think about 4 tables were still eating. So I asked our server if we could move to the 4 too next to us so we could add a chair since that table was more in the middle and adding a chair was not an issue to anybody. Well she said I have to ask my manager she went there (right behind us) ask him and he said NO. And she was like insisting because it was pretty hard for me to eat with my kid on my lap as well as my sister with my other kid on her lap. Anyways he was pretty rude and said NO again. So Sara our server was pretty shy when she told us I m so sorry but my manager said no. Bad situation for our guests . The food is delicious, and the servers are awesome. Sara was great to us, and I believe Danielle is the name of the super sweet lady that served the rest of our party. I truly believe that attitude is everything.

Perky beans is by far the best restaurant in the area, hands down. You literally cant go wrong. Their waffles are absolutely amazing. Their burgers melt in your mouth. Their breakfast potatoes are just right, and their coffee shop side is great too. Do yourself a favor, and if you havent gone yet DO IT. Be warned they can be crazy busy at certain times and dont take reservations, so avoid prime time hours unless youve got some time to wait Kid-friendliness: Always see families with kids in there, and we brought our daughter in with her stroller and they said it was totally fine

First time eating at Perky Bean for breakfast. Came highly suggested and they absolutely did not disappoint. Excellent service from the second we walked in the door! Our server Madeline was very pleasant and very helpful with suggestions on the menu. We started with the house bacon appetizer coated in brown sugar and toasted pecans. Delicious! Breakfast was the chicken fried steak with eggs but we substituted with chicken fried chicken with eggs and the Yukon potatoes on our servers suggestion. She nailed it! Love this place! Delicious food and we have tried a lot of their food and we love it. Mimosas are delicious and no complaints on the food. Fun atmosphere. Friendly staff. Great customer service. Summary: Budget 80-90 minutes for breakfast here, even mid week. Ive been a loyal patron of this place for quite some time, as I live right across the street and often work from home. Initially, it was my go-to spot for breakfast, but lately, the experience has been disappointing. While the staff is prompt in seating you and taking your initial order, the service afterward has become consistently poor. Follow-up requests, such as getting a coffee refill or receiving the check, have turned into prolonged waits. For instance, as I write this review, Ive been waiting over 20 minutes for a coffee refill and will have to leave without it to get back to work. This has been a recurring issue, making it challenging to enjoy a quick and efficient breakfast here. With other alternatives now available within a 10-minute radius, its disheartening to see this place decline in service quality. I genuinely hope management takes note and improves the customer experience, as it was once a beloved spot for many in the neighborhood.

Went to try something new and got a bacon, ham bagel sandwich. When I opened it the bacon looked disgusting, undercooked and gummy. Went back into the store to try and get a refund, was not interested in a remake. I approached one of the mangers on duty who ended up being from the cafe side. He told me the bacon comes in precooked and not to worry about it being raw. When I showed him the gummy bacon and asked him if he would eat the sandwich, his reply was I wouldn t eat any of the sandwiches from here. Wow , guess I won t either. So sad to see, used to love the quality here but I won t be coming back after this interaction.

Ate here yesterday morning for breakfast. This was the best breakfast we have had in the Austin area. Wife had avacado toast with bacon crumbles, tomato pieces, lettuce and an egg, it was perfect. I had the Denver omlette with wheat berry bread. I askes for salsa, and it was better than anything I have ever had at any othere restaurant, The jam for the bread tasted homemade. I rate this place 10 out of 10. Cant wait to come back and see how luch is.

We had breakfast Father s Day morning & did not wait at all which was great. The server said we couldn t order anything but a regular black coffee so I put an online order to get a latte & cold brew from next door. The online system said it would text me when it was ready. Really enjoyed PB Cafe. It was pretty busy when we visited but they seated us instantly. The whole place is bustling with good energy and smiling faces. Smiling staff is always a good sign. The food was great! The portions were generous and the dishes came out hot. In spite of how busy they were, we received our order in less than 8 minutes. The coffee was good and served in a huge mug. Never needed a refill. Ice tea was fresh brewed. The menu was extensive with breakfast on one side and lunch on the other. I especially enjoyed the Yukon gold potatoes that accompanied my Benedict. Wheelchair accessible, clean bathrooms, tons of parking. Looking forward to my next visit!!

My boss referred this place to me so i went there and tried it myself. Coffee was great they have a great selection, I went for the nitro cold brew. I would recommend the Country Skillet for the food as per staff it has everything i needed to taste as a first timer here and also the chicken steak was good. The staff was friendly and very helpful. If you are in search of a new thing you might want to give this place a try. I would also recommend this place and would bring people here and come back. Parking is no problem here since its located in a square. They also have a drive thru if you just want it to go for the coffee but will have to order inside for the dishes.

We went today around noon and we all had breakfast. Coffee was outstanding. My husband and I had each a large coffee called The Boss, it was hot and delicious, super tasty!. We ordered The Farmer breakfast. Food hot on the plate, two piece of bacon really good, the country potatoes were small amount and we ordered each a pancake which is an extra fee. My daughter lives in the area and we went for breakfast this morning while I was in town visiting. I had the Traditional Eggs Benedict that came with hash browns. My daughter had an omelette. Perky Bean Coffee Shop: Cute and modern interior design for a coffee shop with a southern vibe. Huge menu with creative signature drinks. The avocado toast was tasty and so was the caprese sandwich. The fresh mozzarella cheese made the sandwich very refreshing. The bread was airy and crispy after I reheated it in the toaster oven. I would love to stop by again in the future to try their signature drink menu. I was in and out of the coffee shop in less than 10 minutes around 530am. P&B cafe: best to go during a weekday due to limited seating. Ordered the eggs Benedict sampler with the original Benedict and the caprese style eggs Benedict. Both were delicious. The hollandaise sauce is very subtle, eggs were cooked just right to where you get the running yolk, and the arugula on the caprese gives it a little of a kick. Lots of other breakfast items to try on the menu next time.

Had brunch on Sunday, waited a while to be seated, they were very busy, so that was expected. We ordered when we were seated, but waited quite a while before we got our food. The server came by and apologized and said they filled all the to go, pick-up orders before ours was started. So we waited some more. Food was ok, not really seasoned, so kinda bland. Perky Beans, I have enjoyed your establishment since you first opened. Your cafe is awesome, employees are super friendly, and its, overall, so great to have a local brunch spot. HOWEVER, please put some focus on strengthening your drive-thru. It has frequently been a drive-thru of disappointment for me that I have had to take a break from using it. I have received lukewarm beverages and get short changed on certain coffee orders. The employees are great and I believe this is more of a need for hands on leadership presence to oversee daily operations. Hope this helps! Thanks for being a local spot for our community!

Came here for Saturday Brunch and i think we found our new favorite in the area! We ordered a regular latte and Tiramisu coffee at Perky beans. As expected, this place seems to be suffering from its own success a bit. The wait times have increased and the quality of food has decreased, probably due to how many people have found this place. Being shuffled off to a too small table in the coffee shop area, while understandable, doesnt help either. The food is still good but a bit inconsistent and the service is as good as can be expected given how crowded and loud it is.

We have recently moved here and this place is near our home. We went here for brunch and to our surprise they were super busy so we were amazed by that. We ordered pancakes, sandwich, omelets and avocado toast with some Mimosas. All were absolutely delicious and great tasting. All employees were very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place for a good brunch experience.

The cafe has wonderful breakfast and lunch, but skip Perky Beans. Every time I go there in the drive thru my very basic latte is wrong. They either serve it luke warm, use the wrong type of milk or don t add the sweetener. It s extremely frustrating. I go there solely out of convenience. Looking forward to more coffee shops opening up in the area.

The food here is really good. I ordered the Belgian waffles with blueberries and a coffee. There was a lot of flavor and the price point is still decent here. Make sure you call ahead though to see if they re open because the hours for the cafe are different from the coffee shop and it s not super clear here on Google maps.

I registered and added us to the waitlist online (party of two) which quoted a 30-40 min wait and 12 people ahead of us. Five minutes later we got in the car to head to Perky Beans. We were ten minutes away. As I m getting in the car, I got the text saying our table is ready. I called Perky Beans to explain we were ten minutes away. The guy who answered said they can t hold tables for longer than five minutes. Ok. Could they then just add us back to waitlist? He wasn t sure and said he had to transfer me to the cafe. I had to start again with the young lady who answered at the cafe and when I said we were ten minutes away she cut me off and said they can t hold tables longer than five minutes. Understood. I asked again, can you put our name back on the list and get us back in line? (They had all our info from the online registration and waitlist entry.) She cut me off again and went on for a minute about how the online wait time is only a quote and a courtesy and not a guaranteed amount of time and said again they can t hold tables for longer than five minutes. Again I asked for our name to be moved down on the waitlist as now we d be there in less than ten minutes; I m not asking you to hold our table. Her response was that she was very busy with people in front of her and and did not have time and she was too busy to move us down on the list. I said you re too busy to move our name down the list?? Yes, she confirmed. Said I would have to go online to put us back on the waitlist. I was driving and I was the only adult in our party so I couldn t really do it online then. Confirmed again she s too busy to do it and then also mentioned they just gave our table away. Unbelievable. I ve never experienced anything like that when getting on a waitlist online. In the time it took her to explain all of that, she could have just moved us down the list. Will never go to Perky Beans.

I come here every Sunday and sometimes Saturdays for their avocado toast with an extra egg and side of wheat berry toast. Its one of my favorite breakfasts anywhere! And the service.... Never have I had a fluffy, buttery and perfectly cooked omelette before! The potatoes were seasoned and cooked just right. Our server was attentive, friendly and had the most genuine smile. Food came out quickly and the atmosphere was quaint. Only negative is that it s a 45 minute drive from my house in SW Austin! Guess I ll be visiting my niece in Larkspur more often!

The service to get seated was less than acceptable. 20 minute wait turned into an hour with no explanation. Turning a table for two and four individual into a table of 6 for people that came in after us is pure greed and mismanagement. I used to love this place but the young man running hostess stand had zero idea of what he was doing. Very disappointed with the cafe now. A wonderful local spot to grab food here in Leander, especially a nice breakfast! This review will be based solely on their breakfast as I haven t had a chance to try the lunch menu yet. Service is always fantastic, the ambiance is very chill with a farmhouse/rustic vibe, and the food is always very good-consistent as well! I haven t eaten anything here that I haven t liked, and I can t wait to try more! My kiddo loves his breakfast meals here too! It is a smaller location, so it gets VERY busy especially on weekends when there is a long wait and a line of people out the door-it s that popular! The wait is worth it though for the food. Everything is scratch made and pricing is very reasonable. Look forward to coming back and trying some of their lunch options!

Perky Beans Coffee is great. Their coffee tastes so much better than Starbucks. Also, the coffee is at the perfect temperature while Starbucks can get too hot. Their food is also good except for the pastries. Starbucks does have better tasting pastries than them. I tried the cinnamon roll, banana nut muffin, and bear claw. I was disappointed to find that they all were flavorless. I do like to have a pastry once in a while and my favorite coffee shop sadly doesnt deliver on that. Once in a while they will mess up on the food though. One time they only gave me bread with meat and cheese. They completely left out the lettuce and tomato. Mess ups like that dont happen often. Also, their smoothies looked good, but didnt taste good. I ordered 3 and everyone who tried it said it was too bland. One more thing I must add is that Im saddened that my favorite holiday drink didnt come back for this holiday. I dont really care for the rest of their holiday flavors. When I asked about it, the employees look at me like they have no idea what I am talking about. Im guessing they werent working there when it was around last time. Overall, the coffee shop is great and should definitely be given a try. Plus, the employees there are very nice. The PB Cafe has good food, but there are some issues I have had with it. I dont order the burger any more because they keep undercooking it. Ive had to throw it out more than once because it was raw throughout. Good thing I look at it before taking a bite. Another dish they overcooked the eggs which didnt make the meal taste as good as it couldve. Also, they have been giving very little fries on the side with my sandwiches. Last time I counted 5 whole fries which was sad because I do spend a lot of money here and give good tips for this. Good food when cooked right and given better portions. No real issues with the employees as theyre all pretty cordial. I would give 5-stars if the coffee shop had better pastries, smoothies, and more consistent with the sandwiches. Also, if the cafe cooked their burgers better and gave larger portions of fries for the price we pay. I wouldnt take a star off for this, but I was disappointed that my favorite holiday drink wasnt on the menu this year. I guess it does save me money as I go a little less over the holiday now since I dont have that tempting me haha. Right now, this place is a solid 4-stars. Not perfect, but pretty close.

Its the only breakfast place have gone to that provides the option for mix and matching two different Benedict styles. My toasted English muffin on Eggs Benedict was - Both Times, not edible. It was too tough to use knife provided which was serrated. And lukewarm.Told manager the last time I visited. Great place to have brunch or lunch. They are always extremely busy so be prepared to wait a while for a table. They are also overly strict on only holding your table for 5 minutes even if you confirm youre on your way. I got there 6 minutes after they notified me my table was ready, I replied I was on my way immediately and they gave away my table. The food is amazing, I highly recommend the game and cheese, the pastrami, and the BBQ burger. The specialty drinks are also delicious.

I ordered my food to go yesterday and got the Buffalo chicken sandwich. Regular chicken sandwich and the Mac and cheese bites. Everything was amazing! Even picking up my food was great. The girl at the host stand was super friendly, and my food was ready to go on the time they told me it would be. Then, when I got home to eat my food, it was AMAZING! I loved the Buffalo chicken sandwich, and my husband loved his sandwich. We also enjoyed the Mac and cheese bites. Im so happy this restaurant is here, and I look forward to getting food here again.

They do not have the bandwidth to be a restaurant. If you call they never pick up, you can t order ahead unless it s like 30-45 minutes ahead. They run out of sides (fries) like before noon and if you substitute it s an up charge. They are always too busy in the mornings on the weekends but they don t take reservations. So it may be a small dinner mixed with a coffee shop, but it is worth every bit of the noise. The food is amazing, coffee is tasteful, and it is not overwhelming. If you come to this location you will find that you can fulfill your needs depending on how hungry you are. Perky Beans Coffee added a cafe a few years ago and after one visit youll quickly see it has become many peoples go-to breakfast spot.
