23 years ago my husband and I were married. At 19 and 20 yrs old we were overwhelmed and didn t know what we needed and did not need at our wedding. I wish Butlers was around when we needed them! I have attended a wedding there, did a tour as well as a concert on the property. It is a breathtaking piece of history and they take care of every detail. They truly seem to care about every couple and making their day full of love and beautiful memories. Even for the families, not just the couples. Great job guys!

Amber and her team did the most beautiful job on our business event last week. The venue is gorgeous and the food was impeccable. They even put our logo on the cupcakes! Every single one of my (many) questions was answered quickly and thoroughly and as I was arranging the event from out of town, I just couldnt have pulled it off without their consummate professionalism. It is a glorious, beautiful place with amazing service. You couldnt choose a better place to hold your event. A wedding there would be sensational.

If I had known then what I know now, I wouldn t have stressed A SINGLE BIT! This is the first and only venue my husband and I toured while looking for a spot to get married. That s how great this place is. We wanted to get married within six months and Butlers made it happen. No stress! The entire staff at Butler s is not only incredibly experienced.. they are kind, patient, and so dang good at their jobs. Our day was magical and perfect in every way. We didn t have to worry about a THING! The staff was attentive and receptive. Brides: they re detail-oriented, super responsive, and make your special day so smooth. If we could get married here again, we would. Can t recommend Butler s enough!

Butlers Courtyard truly is an all-inclusive, with added upgrading options if you choose. In addition, the two locations onsite to get ready and host your wedding party in was phenomenal! Other places do not have the large spaces that Butler s provides An entire cottage for the ladies and an entire Groom Cave for the guys, that they were so appreciative of. Stop what you re doing and book Butler s Courtyard RIGHT NOW! Every single person that works here is absolutely incredible and there is truly no other wedding venue that could possibly measure up. Butler s Courtyard is charming, romantic, cozy, and unique. I guarantee you will not find another venue like this in the Greater Houston area. From the second we stepped on the property for our initial tour at BC, the staff made us feel right at home. They happily answered any questions we had and really connected with us on a personal level. This was important to us. After completing our tour, we didn t feel the need to visit any other wedding venues. We truly felt like Butler s Courtyard was the perfect place for us. Everything about it just felt right. The staff is really what makes this place so special. We had planning sessions every few months with Amber to discuss details and present any questions we had. She was always happy to see us and was honest with us as we navigated through choices that needed to be made. This was really helpful in our decision making process. Shawna was our day-of coordinator. She was such a blessing!! She was always patient with me and willing to answer any questions that I had (especially closer to the day of the wedding). I really appreciated her kindness and the effort that she put forth to make our wedding day the best day of our lives. Our wedding was in January 2024 - the weekend before the big freeze/cold front. Thankfully there was no bad weather on our actual wedding day, but it was still pretty chilly outside. I will admit - I was a little bit concerned about having an outdoor reception in January. We chose to stay under the pavilion, but also had 6 tables set up inside for guests who preferred to be indoors. There were tall heaters outside that did an AMAZING job at keeping guests warm. The cold weather was not an issue whatsoever. Butler s Courtyard is very confident in the way that they organize and conduct weddings and receptions and now I understand why. Our wedding day went off without a hitch and they kept all the events flowing in such a timely manner. I would recommend this wedding venue to anyone and everyone!! If I could go back and do it all over again, I would pick Butler s Courtyard every time. They will do everything in their power to make your wedding day a remarkable one. If I could give 10 stars I would. What an amazing experience. Butlers planned our wedding in 4 months and it went off without a single hitch. As a bride and groom what more can we ask for. It was everything we dreamed it would be and more. Shawna was an absolute amazing person to work with, she brings such an incredible energy that just created the most memorable and exciting experience. Amy was so calming during the ceremony and so thorough (I m a checklist kinda girl) and the entire butlers team exceeded expectations. We were catered to all night, we did a walk through before it all began to make sure it was to our liking, the cottage to get ready our stylist loved it! Great space! Janice officiated our ceremony and she was just the sweetest person. The food was delicious, most people do not expect that from wedding food. Bar service was quick and friendly. 10 out of 10 recommend this all inclusive venue and there isn t a single thing we would change. Thank you Butlers for making our dreams come true <3

I prefer to write positive reviews, which is why Im very disappointed to write the following. My husband and I toured Butlers Courtyard many years ago, while looking for our wedding venue. After attending a friends wedding there today, Im so thankful we chose a different place! It is a beautiful place but the staff needs way more training or something. They were constantly present, but not in a helpful way. There were no announcements whatsoever. Many of the guests missed the toasts, first dances, cake cutting, etc., because no one knew they were taking place. By the time I was informed the food was out, it was only because I was given a 30 minute warning it was about to be removed from the buffet, and although the flavor was alright, it was cold. If I set my drink down, it instantly disappeared. Dont get me wrong, I do like having a tidy table, but I dont like having to go get yet another drink because my was taken, especially the ones I had to pay for. We were rushed through everything. It felt very conveyor belt-got to get this group out for the next one to come in, even though Im fairly certain my friends wedding was the only one booked for the evening. There was one person, I believe her name was Sarah, who seemed genuinely happy to be working there. In all fairness, I only interacted with a few of the staff members, but the ones I did, appeared to be bored, wishing they were elsewhere, and had no problem returning my smiles with scowls, and my pleasantries with irritation. What a real shame. This place was kind of pricey 12+ years ago, so Im sure its only more so now, so one would expect nothing but an event worth every penny. Sadly, it is not the case. Its such a beautiful building, inside and out, with so much charm. It could have been a truly magical day not only for the bride and groom, but for the guests as well. A wedding is one of the most important events in a couples life. To treat it as just another day at, uhg, work, simply isnt fair to all involved. Every bride dreams of having an unforgettable wedding. I certainly wont forget my friends, but for all the wrong reasons.

I could not be more pleased with Butlers Courtyard and all the services they provide. Their packages are reasonably priced and working with their team made everything easy and stress free. I can honestly say without Lindsey and her team I would have been a stressed out wreck that probably didn t have half the things needed to create such a beautiful wedding. The day of all I had to do was sip mimosas, relax and let the hair and makeup artist do their thing while Lindsey and her team set everything up. Most wedding Venus we looked at were bland, I wanted a forest/garden vibes and the way they capture the old town essence is stunning :) but really they have several diffrent vibes.we havent had our wedding its happening next year but the way they are onto of everything and they do everything so you do have to worry about finding a million diffrent people to help with the food/ set up theyre really working with us to make our day so special!

This is a beautiful historical event venue with a twist of rustic. It has an amazing vault as soon as you walk into the property and I have to say their main entrance will leave you breathless. But the main thing I want to talk about is how absolutely excellent the customer service was. Im personally not a big fan of rustic or country and when they were picking up on the fact that I wasnt a fan, they went out of their way to recommend other venues that were more to my taste even though that wasnt going to benefit them. My tour was very nice and after now touring multiple venues I can definitely say theyve had the best customer service out of anyone. So even if I personally wouldnt get married there due to aesthetics, I would be more than happy to personally recommend them to anybody.

got married here on 11/06/2022. im from league city but currently live in san antonio because my husband was accepted into nursing school there. i knew when we got married, wed go back home. the moment i walked into butlers courtyard it felt like home. amber greeted me and my big sister (my husband had to stay behind for school) and it was so welcoming. shawna showed us around the venue and i knew this was the place. once they said our date was opened, we booked. living in san antonio, i was not able to drive down as often but they were always easy to get ahold of (weekends will always take time to get them, but thats their busiest time!!). amber was our day of coordinator and megan set everything up and helped us out however she could. it was a fantastic day and im so glad this was the venue we chose. also, my husbands suit jacket had gotten misplaced. we could not go back to venue as we needed to get back home to san antonio. i contacted amber and she said they would be able to mail the suit jacket back to the rental place in san antonio. this was so awesome and above and beyond!! My husband and I got married at Butlers Courtyard this September 24. We couldn t have asked for a better day! From the second that we booked our date, Butlers Courtyard was always just a text or phone call away, since we live in Austin Texas, and we re always so accommodating and willing to go above and beyond for the things that we wanted to add into our wedding. We have received so many compliments about how organized and friendly and beautiful the venue was. Every single staff member is beyond professional and incredibly nice and always there to answer any questions and if they don t know it, they will find the answer for you. We were so lucky to have Sarah Craig as our day of coordinator, and we truly don t know what we would do without her. I have a father who is in a motorized wheelchair, and they did everything that they could to accommodate him and make sure that he was comfortable at all times and it was really touching to watch. She had every single detail that I would ve never thought of already thought out and planned. It just exceeded all of our expectations and we are so grateful for Butlers Courtyard and their staff for everything that they have done to make that day so incredibly special for my husband Vincent and Myself.

Do yourself a favor book here and rest easy knowing that Amber and her team of professionals will do the rest to create the wedding of your dreams. I had no idea where to start with wedding planning and I am so glad we went with Butler s Courtyard because everything from the lighting down to the tiniest detail of flourishes on our wedding cakes was taken care of. I can t really explain how they make this magic happen but they do! Amber and her team are organized, have a flow to the wedding night, and throw an amazing party. Timothy and I were completely floored by how well everyone (especially us) were taken care of and had no idea a wedding (much less our own) would be this extra super special. Low stress doesn t even begin to describe the evening! We didn t worry about a thing! Difficult family member? No problem, Amber s got Texas charm and stellar boundary-setting skills. Feeling overwhelmed? Take a load off with the private dinner for just the two of you to get some romantic quiet in an evening of festivities. There s honestly nothing these folks haven t thought of! They run like a well-oiled machine. Butler s Courtyard and their team of vendors are truly setting a high bar for this industry. Each one of their vendors works seamlessly in with the Butler s Courtyard team. Somebody needs to do a case study on just how they are pulling off this kind of smooth-as-butter integration. So, ok sold on the team! But wait this venue! Historic, beautiful, breath-taking. Decor is elegant and artfully placed. The space was perfect for our 75 person wedding reception and we so enjoyed getting to explore the Rose Cottage, The Shop and other nooks and crannies in this place. Houston is such a new and developing city we don t have many treasures like this historic bank (with a vault) that oozes with charm and majesty. Ok, still not sold? Let s talk about all-inclusive. This venue does it all and if they don t, they have a partner that will do it and do it better than anyone else in the industry. Shout out to our florist Rene from Lush Flowers (truly unbelievable the kind of vision and artistry these experts have), photographer Jessica from Eventsmith (organized, calm, fun to be around and skillfully captured every single magic moment throughout the whole night), DJ Mark (who played all of our favorites and created the perfect environment for us), and Cool Cow (which was a huge hit! Who doesn t want all-night ice cream?). During the planning process, Amber patiently listened to our ideas for what this reception could be, provided guidance for two engineers who had no idea of what wedding planning consisted of, and on the day of captured our personalities and created the most magical night of our lives. I am not a person pre-occupied with weddings, wedding-planning, or party-planning of any sort but I am completely obsessed with the magic being created at Butler s Courtyard. For two people who got married in the middle of a global pandemic (July 2020) in a backyard in the rain this two-years-long-awaited wedding reception was more than we could have ever hoped or dreamed it would be. Our lives, marriage, and friends and family have been forever touched by the generosity, love, and care of the folks at Butler s Courtyard.

This March, I attended an anniversary party at this venue. The property was absolutely beautiful. The landscaping was in full bloom and the decor inside was equally as beautiful. I love the combination of indoor/outdoor hosting spaces as well as the history of the building you can take in. I don t even know where to start. In 2017 I was a bridesmaid in a wedding at Butler s Courtyard and seeing the facility as well as watching how hands on the staff was. I was beyond impressed. I would not recommend getting married anywhere else! The venue is just too charming! There is not another venue as charming and unique as this one. Then the staff... absolutely wonderful people! They are so kind and caring. Amber has a can do attitude and makes things happen! She is honest, genuine, caring, considerate, and a hard worker. Everyone was so kind, friendly, and helpful. I can honestly say I had a care free wedding, because I trusted that everything would be taken care of and it was. More than I was even expecting! Get married here and you will not regret it!

This venue was absolutely amazing. Our wedding was beautiful and the staff was beyond helpful! Lindsey was our day of coordinator and she was amazing super helpful and made sure myself and the groom were taken care of the whole time. They helped out so much with setup and breakdown and had so much stuff there for you to choose from for decorations as well. Would recommend this venue to anyone and so happy to be apart of the Butlers Courtyard family! Couldn t have picked a better place for our special day!

Im a bit late in sharing my review, but I cannot say enough good things about this venue. We had to move our wedding due to covid (along with many others) and during the whole process, Amber was such an amazing help, and so very kind and patient throughout! The venue is so beautiful, and has so much more room than is readily apparent. Also, during the planning session where we mentioned moving the date, and thus getting married at the courthouse to keep our original anniversary date, Amber told us absolutely not and we worked out a small ceremony at the venue. I was moved almost to tears so many times during our planning sessions, and was often put at ease by everyones calm demeanor. I am very much a control freak, and sometimes get stressed if I dont have my thumb in all the pies, so to speak, but butlers takes care of literally EVERYTHING, and helps you in the areas they dont cover. We got so many recommendations and so much help through the whole process. I am so so so glad we chose butlers, and have such beautiful memories to hold of our time celebrating there. If you have any doubt of this venue, DONT! They are amazing and so kind and treat you like family. This is THE PLACE to go! Attached are some pictures that show just how beautiful this place truly is!! (Along with some fun ones, too, and a couple from our little elopement) I cant recommend butlers enough- Im getting teary eyed just thinking about it!

I would highly recommend this venue. They did a fantastic job and went above/beyond what I would expect and the staff was friendly, organized, and responsive. Parking was not an issue and all guests had a great time. Additionally, we had a masquerade wedding on Halloween and the setting was perfect for that type of event.

I can not say enough good things about Butler s Courtyard and their staff!! We got married here 2.26.21. Everyone at butlers was super responsive, accommodating, and basically read my mind to make my day completely stress free. They treat you as if you are part of a family and not just another number or payment coming in to them. This venue is absolutely beautiful! I was the MOH for my sister s wedding last weekend, it was absolutely perfect! The reception was as the sun was setting and the courtyard was lit up with twinkling lights. The historic and elegant atmosphere provided a picture perfect setting! Amber and her staff at Butler s Courtyard were unbelievable. Their attention to detail and experience is unmatched. Our wedding at Butlers Courtyard was amazing! We had our wedding in early October 2020. The ceremony was outside, and the reception was under the tent. Amber and her team helped make our day the wedding of our dreams! They helped coordinate the details that make a wedding special. We highly recommend Butlers preferred vendors. I could have never in my wildest dreams imagined a more perfect wedding. I am so glad we chose Butler s Courtyard. To be honest though, after seeing over 10 venues, making our choice was the easiest decision we ve ever made. Amber is the owner, along with her sister, and also a coordinator. She was absolutely amazing. She answered all my questions, calls, and texts nearly immediately from the time I chose the venue, all the up to even after the wedding. She treated me like a princess and was so helpful throughout the whole experience. Amber is one of the greatest people I have ever had the privilege of knowing. The staff was phenomenal, extremely hard working, and so sweet and helpful. The venue is insanely gorgeous! There are multiple different ceremony and reception options and more than enough perfect backgrounds for photos all throughout the property. The whole staff did such a wonderful job keeping everything extremely clean and sanitary, especially during the current pandemic. My husband and I don t have a single complaint. We were blown away and will cherish our memories there for the rest of our lives. I highly recommend ANY event at Butler s and Amber, but especially your wedding. 11/10 stars!

My husband and I got married during the pandemic. We were extremely stressed and we weren t even sure if we would be able to have our wedding. The owner, Amber and her team made sure we didn t have to do anything. They even went and picked up our flowers since the florist couldn t deliver them during this time. We got married at a church and then the reception at Butler s. They brought water over to the church and helped coordinate everything even though it wasn t even their venue. It is a venue that keeps your head on a swivel trying to take in all the details. As great as the physical buildings are, its the team that works there that makes it great. They not only meet your needs for the perfect wedding, but they also anticipate them. While my daughters wedding LT was booking other dates and couldnt reach her. Our party was of 218 and this place was not big enough or didnt take time to move and chairs to the tent while the dancing was going on. Both parents missed the cutting of the cake. Went here for a child hood friend daughter s wedding. The venue was nice and the ceremony was good. After the ceremony we went to the location were the food was and for a plate and sat down. While we re eating we noticed people walking around looking for a place to sit down and enjoy there food but there was no seats . We rushed to finish our food so other people could sit down. After the meal we didn t even know it but we missed the cake cutting and we were really looking forward to it. Needless to say my wife s heel got caught in the cobblestone tile and broke her shoe so our night got cut short and this is something you don t get another chance to do. So for what s its worth you do your research and make sure this place is right for you because you only get one shot on your wedding day.

My wife and I had a very complex, intercultural, Indian/Jewish wedding. Lindsey and the staff at Butlers Courtyard made the day of run smoother than I thought possible. Everyone was helpful and friendly, and they worked and coordinated extremely well with all of our vendors. The cake that their partner Cakes by Jula provided was fantastic, the florist they recommended was amazing, and the DJ who works with the venue was one of the best Ive seen. Butlers Courtyard was amazing. We got married on July 7th 2019. Sarah was our coordinator and was so amazing and nice from day one. You get so many included things when going with butlers such as the food (which was amazing), the cake (also amazing), the dj, and some decor. The venue itself is amazingly beautiful and you do not need much decor. We only used a few wood slices and lanterns they had. The team was so prepared and handled everything from start to finish. We did not have to worry about anything! If i could redo it all I would do it again with Butlers courtyard and Sarah Craig.

We got married on Valentines Day and were wedding 12 for the day. Butlers Courtyard tended to every detail and did so in less than two weeks. They made our wedding better than we dreamed it would be. The grounds are beautiful and the staff was fantastic. Our wedding coordinator made sure everything went perfectly. The owners make sure that what you want is what you get. Their preferred vendors, Mageks Photography, Cakes by Julia, M.A.D. Productions DJ only added to our exceptional experience. Our daughter got married in December at a wedding venue where you have to coordinate everything yourself. Butlers is a totally different experience both financially and emotionally. LOVE this venue and the wonderful staff. My husband and I got married here this past Friday and had the most amazing time. Sarah was our coordinator day-of and helped make our day everything we couldve hoped for. She completely took the stress away from me and my mom, didnt even seem slightly upset by some of my last minute changes, and kept the day flowing and organized. I feel like my mom and I had to plan little to nothing on our own for this wedding because Butlers literally thinks of everything, and theyre there to answer questions every step of the way.
