Great guy! My daughter had a ticket for running a stop sign, called him and was very reasonable! He got the court date set up within the same week, and was able to represent her without her present! I dont get alot of tickets. Nobody got as many citations as I did 30-35 years ago soon after I got my license. Must have been a couple dozen. I got a reality check the day I had to go find an insurance company that would insure me after being dropped from my moms policy in order for her to keep it in good standings. Shopping around to get my own policy is when I saw the difference with not having a clean record on my pocket book. Ive been doing a lot better the last couple decades now showing a basically spotless record though I cant say I havent received any tickets but once i was told about the Markowitz law firm Ive been hiring them to keep them off the record. They take my place in the court room. Scott speaks to the judge representing me and they come up with an agreement every time that keeps it off record as long as I follow through and not get another ticket soon after for a agreed number of days. I wanna say I think I have been using the Markowitz law firm for over fifteen years now and have never been disappointed. A clean record means a lower cost policy in the end. And it helps to have a backup plan to keep it that way.

I can not confirm or deny this law firm is good bc NO ONE from this law firm showed to my court hearing today. I was there for a speeding ticket that I was contesting bc I was not speeding and the motorcycle police officer was having a hay day just pulling people over and giving tickets, it was like a conga line of cars one after another. This is my first time having a ticket and first time hiring a lawyer. I had all the proof I needed for dismissal with pictures and writing everything down on the back of my ticket before I left the scene, but wanted a lawyer in case (bc u know how the justice system is to Normal people without a lawyer.) So I arrived at the court which there were hundreds of people for the same time with all different lawyers when mine didnt come up or call my name I assumed they were in the court room. About 1.5 hours later a lady comes out and calls my name (which she stated all the law firms she was representing in the beginning before court started and Markowitz was not mentioned nor my name called to say present). She stated my police officer had shown up and asked me to tell her a little about my case that might help her which I did and shes like oh wow, ok u are not guilty she said shed call the officer and tell him if he doesnt dismiss we go to court which telling him about all of my proof, he dismissed it. I feel like it was dismissed bc of me, but the lady who was representing like 5 or 6 law firms was wonderful, couldnt believe she took on the amount she did and was happy to have her help. I am very disappointed with Markowitz law firm as I didnt even recieve a phone call that they wouldnt be there or even with what to expect since Id never been through this. I paid them up front and I feel like they did nothing except send me the paper for the court date which is what the court did anyway, the lady needs to be paid my money. If I need a lawyer again ( which I hope I dont) I will not be employing Markowitz. Very disappointed , but at least I got my ticket dismissed. Replying to law firm.. I recieved one notice 2 days before the court day by text from u all that was it ( my ticket was from aug of 2023 and that is when i called, you would think u would have reach out to me before the text 2 days before april 2nd 2024) other then the letter that I already recieved from the court, noone called me and there were not multiple notices just 2. The lady who represented me was representing like 6 other law firms. I was saying Noone from YOUR office showed up which is the truth. I feel like this was a last minute on your part as in the beginning of court she did not say she was representing u or your law firm when she called them out and did NOT call my name. It was 1.5 hours later when she came out of court room and called my name. Regardless there should have been a phone call to tell me you all would not be able to make it and someone u hired who I believe is freelance since she is working to represent multiple companies at once would be taking care of me ( by the way happy to have been helped by her). Also I offered all my pictures and evidence which u all did not take only a statement from me which was taken over the phone. You all did fall short in my book but did not give a 1 star bc I cant confirm if u are good or not since I didnt work with u all I can only tell the truth of my experience and what happened to me.

If I could give this law firm 0 stars I would . My experience started out really good . I had a lot of tickets to be resolved and he seemed willing to help out . He quoted me a good price , I payed for his services and the cases were dismissed . I was so pleased that I asked if he could look into resolving a case in Washington County and to give me a quote .He got back to me months later saying he already took care of it without my knowledge and proceeded to tell me the price AFTER he took care of it without my permission . I would have never been okay with it due to it being 1000 dollars to take care of it and I couldnt afford it at the time . Thats when it went down hill and every time I called for my other cases I was treated very rudely and he made me feel bad for asking questions and treated me as if I was stupid . I wish I wouldve taken my business elsewhere honestly .

Scott got my going 70 in a 45mph speeding ticket dismissed without any point penalty nor did I have to take defensive driving. Just had to pay the ticket fine and my case was dismissed. Thanks Scott will definitely come back if I receive any future citations!

Great service, highly recommend. They were able to get my ticket fully dismissed even though the cop showed up, which is rare. I was represented by Patrick, who I believe also works for several other law firms - there were 4 of us represented by him that day, and each appeared to be with a different law firm. Markowitz rates are significantly higher than other firms I contacted but they provide a high level of service, with Scott Markowitz taking the time to discuss my case in detail prior signing up (no other firm was willing to do that, in fact you don t get to discuss with your attorney until the day of). I hope to never need it again but will certainly use them in future if the need arises.

Markowitz Law was/is the best choice I made through my speeding ticket experience. Their fee is fair and definitely way less than what I would have spent getting my case dismissed on my own. The Markowitz law people are in a class by themselves. I accompanied my daughter, who seems to get into trouble every now and then, to the court, having retained, the law firm.
