I appreciate the staff knows their inventory and placement. I enjoy the friendly greetings and how they value the customer. That attention is sorely lacking in too many stores nowadays. MGR Edie knows how to perfectly cut a key! Other places Ive tried and had to keep returning because the keys wouldnt work. This is my go-to for hardware needs.

I was looking all over for a quick connect adapter for my dishwasher, couldnt find it anywhere. Went to different places and no luck. Ended up giving this ACE HARDWARE A TRY AND GOD WAS I BLESSED WITH JOE. HE HELPED ME FIND EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR AND NOT ONLY HE FOUND IT BUT HE SAVED ME TROUBLE FOR GOING ANYWHERE ELSE TO FIND IT. Customer service superstars and a nice selection considering their small size. I suspect quality of products may be better than big box stores based on a recent purchase. ACE had three of an item I needed four of so I went to the box store instead. Price was slightly less than Ace. So far so good. Installed one of the items. And after a moderately gentle bump, it broke. Went to Ace for the other three. Installed theirs and did the same test and it worked perfectly. Increased the force and it still held up great. The items looked identical between the two stores but the Ace one is better. Probably a fluke, but the staff are so great that Im going with it as a sign to stick with them.

KMAN is the store owner - he has the worst customer service. I came to return an item and flat out said he wouldn t return when it s been less than a week, new un open item and I have my receipt. Since I didn t buy it from his store he wouldn t return - flat out! KMAN needs more training and learn that customers makes business thrive! I will never come back to this location. KMAN could not show me their store return police and guidelines. I would not recommend this place at all to anyone. Extremely low customer service. It s a shame since I buy a lot from ACE hardware, just won t be bring my business to this site. Hope Corporate see this message and re-trains KMAN on how to treat customers. Store#17508. - also, staff need more better training (no body was able to address any of my other simple questions) - no expertise at this location - once again KMAN very unprofessional and very bad customer service.

Generally a decent store but the Ace is the place with the helpful hardware man doesn t apply here. Brought in my Stihl trimmer I bought in June as I was having issues. The first young man was about to show me how to address the issue when bossy Betty barges in asking if I have taken it to a Stihl repair place. That attitude ended the conversation with the helpful employee. I was having a back pain day and just could not put up with bossy Betty. Left the store never to return again. Also they do not accept returns on Stihl equipment. Keep that in mind when looking for trimmers, blowers, chain saws..etc.

Its a good neighborhood hardware store, but that is not what impressed me. I popped in with two of my young daughters for some sprinkler parts. I paid with card, and had no cash. On the way out, there was a big gumball machine. Since I had no cash, I told the girls we would have to get gumballs another time. Their little faces were disappointed, but they didnt pitch a fit or even whine. The manager was greeting customers at the front door, and he noticed our interaction. He smiled at them, and handed each a quarter. They were ecstatic! With cheeks stuffed full of gum, they exclaimed that this place is way better than the big box store I usually go to. I have to agree. Thanks for making their day!

ACE on W. League City Parkway Explained to the young salesman I needed a blower to inflate a large pool & a water hose extension connector. Even showed him pictures & provided a verbal description. We recently purchased a grill at League City Ace Hardware and were please by the selection, customer service, and prices. We went to Ace because they had grills in stock that no other stores had locally. They actually had a few different models we were interested in. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Additionally, the store offered free delivery which was great because the box was huge. Their delivery was quick and we were cooking on our grill in no time. We found the prices to be competitive with other retailers and a good value for our money. We will definitely be going back to Ace for grill accessories and other hardware items. For a Benjamin Moore paint sample can, I paid 10.99 a can, where Friendswood Ace Hardware sells it for 6.99. To me, that is too big a difference. I have been here several times for odds and ends while doing home improvement projects. Every single time I have left impressed with the excellent customer service. It s a small store but they ve got quite the selection when you ve forgotten something and need to find a random screw, etc. Someone usually greets you at the entrance to see what they can help you find and if not, someone will swing to help by if you re looking lost. If I could give them negative stars I would. We recently purchased some items and ended up not needing them. When we went back to return them, we were told we could not return the items as they are considered hurricane/cold weather items and can not be returned. We were not told this when we bought them and it is not posted in the store. To me it is shady business when you put a policy on your receipt about a return with out letting your customers know the policy. We will not be going back! I suggest you think twice before using them!
