The air quality inside the store is toxic. It always smells like exhaust. By the time I leave the store I have a severe migraine and my breathing is labored. It is a breath of fresh air as soon as I step outside the doors of the building into the parking lot (next to traffic, which is not nearly as noxious as the interior air of this store). I have brought this issue to the stores attention several times, to no avail. I cannot shop at this store any longer due to health concerns.

Watch what you get when you do curbside pick up. Last time I got one NY strip instead of a pack of 4 this time I got a 12 Oz chicken instead of a 22 Oz. I had opened it and threw it in the pan and realized it wasnt as much as it should have been. They cant do anything to rectify the situation

This place sucks. DO NOT use them for curbside. This has been the most horrible customer service experience EVER. I placed a curbside order & paid extra for it to be QUICK bc I have toddlers. Now Im standing inside the back door now going on 40 minutes bc they dont know what they are doing. I will be using HEB from now on!!!!! Update: One year later, because of a coupon that came in the mail, I gave Kroger one more try. Place a $390.00 DELIVERY order. Was supposed to be delivered yesterday between 4 & 5pm. At 9:04pm I got a text from the girl (Breanna) delivering my order. It was a picture of my house from the road with no groceries in the picture & it said your groceries have been delivered. Walked outside. No groceries. Called & texted her, no answer. Called the store & they said no one could help until the morning. Now its the next day & 1:12pm. Still no groceries & no refund because they cant figure out what is going on. ONE YEAR of curbside, delivery & in store shopping at HEB with no problems at all. I will gladly go to HEB & PAY MORE to not have to deal with this mess. Do better kroger!!!

I have been revisiting this Kroger when Im in the area for shopping and getting gas since 2007. Today is November 26, 2023. First, to clear any misnomer, this is a larger version of Kroger but not a Kroger marketplace type of store like the one on West League City Parkway. They all usually have a decent deli and bakery department like this one. This is a large one here so you can find quite the variety of delicatessen and baked sweets. Like cakes, doughnuts, and pies.

All self checkout now. Most shopping baskets are broken, they no longer have the brown hand held baskets, they charge for cash back. I could keep going but you get the picture. Ok to use like a conviene store if you just need milk or bread. I ll stick with H E B across the street.

Each week when the sales change, this particular location only changes out about 2/3 of their signage for the new sale. This causes people to go to the register thinking that theyre getting a certain price and they end up paying much much more. Ive mentioned this too at least three of the employees and they dont seem to really care that they have the wrong prices throughout the store which basically constitutes false advertising. This is something that happens at least once a week and Im beginning to get very frustrated over it

Wasted 10 minutes waiting for the barista to even acknowledge us at the Starbucks in the Kroger. Then wasted another 15 minutes waiting for the bakery lady to get back to her section to slice bread. Under staffed. Bad attitudes. Awful. If you want to waste you precious time and money, then by all means come here. And cell reception inside is almost non-existent. The one plus is that it is clean.

I went to my local Krogers on the weekend of Labor Day weekend to purchase the ribeye steaks that were on sale. They were out of stock, I received a rain check. I went back a couple of days later they were still out. I received another rain check. I went in for the entire month of September attempting to cash in on my rain check. I learned that the ribeyes would not be back in stock for me to use the rain check until the next holiday, so by then my rain check will have expired. So I learned a rain check from Krogers has no value and not to waste my time trying to redeem a useless rain check.

Krogers pick up is extremely slow. Order was supposed to be ready at 6 and when I called they said it wouldnt be done till another half an hour at least. The wait time for curbside is ridiculous. Everyone was sitting with cars off and windows down.

This location is at the corner of East League City Parkway & South Shore Boulevard. There is a money remittance department inside of the store, along with a Pharmacy. There is also a very large parking lot there as well. A Kroger Fuel Center is nearby. This location has a well stocked selection of produce, as well as a large variety of grocery products & beverages. The employees there are very knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to help you to make your produce or grocery product selection.

I have been shopping at this location all through this pandemic, and the employees have always been respectful, helpful and have treated me nice even though Im not wearing a mask. I usually shop the hour before they close so Im not around a lot of people. The other night I had been there for almost 1.5 hours, interacted with multiple pleasant employees, and had no issues. As Im checking out, Im confronted by an employee telling me I have to wear a mask and exemptions dont matter. She said either order online or you cant shop at MY store. She said she has to look out for her customers. I said Im a customer too, and she bolted away and had someone else cover the self checkout area. If this is how customers will be treated, then Ill shop at HEB right across the street where they have never discriminated anyone.

The manager lady who worked Aug 13 2020 about 10pm was very rude to me. I cannot wear a mask due to medical issues so I purposely went an hour before they closed when I knew it would be empty. There was no one within 30 feet of me anywhere. But she came up to me and told me I cannot shop there without a mask. I explained I have a medical condition and that, as she could see, there was hardly anyone in the store so I could easily social distance, and that I waited until late at night to come in when nobody would be around. Still she told me to leave. All this time, her mask was below her nose. I also noticed the few shoppers AND employees walking around either had their masks below their nose OR they had them down around their necks! Yet I was being refused essential items I needed, like food. I explained the governors orders even state if you can social distance or have a medical condition you dont need a mask. She didnt care. Terribly discriminatory. I have exclusively shopped there, but now I will go to walmart because they dont discriminate. Kroger will get no more of my money.

Worst place to be employed. Kroger in general is the worst place to be employed. Karen the District H.R. has a lot of issues with character deformation towards other employees. Its always a great idea to have the facts before falsely accusing a specific persons of things that they did not do or dont even know what youre talking about. If you investigate one person in the pharmacy, every employee in the pharmacy should be investigated. Including all pharmacists and fill in pharmacists.

I m not a huge fan of Kroger, but I recently went to HEB to have a cake made. They were really rude about writing what I wanted on it so I came here instead. The cake I ordered was amazing. It was so cute! I m not sure who actually decorated it, but it was everything I asked for and more! It also tasted really good which is important. The staff here was happy to write what I wanted and they were so friendly. I will definitely be ordering all of my cakes here from now on!

Alexia in the floral department helped me feel at ease as she offered much help, guidance, and conversation as she filled balloons for me. She was very friendly and made getting last minute items for my sisters bridal shower stress free and simple. She helped me find the exact color (Periwinkle) I needed after Amazon had let me down. She even bagged my filled balloons and helped me load them into my vehicle. I highly recommend utilizing their services should you need party supplies/suggestions/tips. I have been shopping on and off at this store for 7 years. Always had a friendly experience, reason I am not giving just 1 star, until today. My mother and I received rain checks for a product that they did not have during a sale and could not keep on the shelf. Today we went in to cash in on those. I asked a lady named Alicia in the meat department acted like I was inconveniencing her for asking for someone in receiving to help. I told her I was told to ask if the product was not on the shelf. She then scrutinized my rain check and asked 3 or 4 times how many I needed, I stated 8 please. She leaves and then the main store manager came to us and got snotty about it and I showed him the rain check and said I just need the 8 please. He goes well if you are going to act like that, I refuse to help you, even though I used please and thank you. He was extremely rude, lacked customer service skills, and might as well have been a teenager just trying to get through his shift. Very RUDE experience today at this location

Excellent (almost new) very large supermarket. One shortcoming --- in my view --- is the meat section were you get to talk to a live person, select what you want and say how youd like it to be cut --- that section is rather small for such a large establishment. I rate this less than one star! I have shopped this Kroger location for more than 7 years. I used to enjoy visiting this Kroger, however, the last year or more the store is in steady Decline! The Trend seems to be hire less labor and offer less than sterling customer service. The self checkout lanes discourage the customer from experiencing Total Customer Satisfaction by suggesting you are Less Valued. This maybe a business Trend, unfortunately it is hampering customers from receiving the attention it requires and deserves to maintain a loyal customer base. Think before you Shop!
