I have truly enjoyed being acessed and treated as one of Dr. Vs many clients, all his staff is such professionals and are very pleasant personnel,. I especially enjoy my massage therapist Terrie who knows exactly how to put it on you in all the right areas. I thank God for allowing me to be taken care of (on behalf of the VA) as they work hard trying to help get this sciatic nerve pain under control. Dr. V is fantastic! He not only asks the right questions and is able to give you answers about your pain but he educates on why the pain is there. He takes his time to listen and is patient. The staff is thoughtful and kind and I never have to wait more than a couple minutes before they call me back. As long as he is around, I won t be going to anyone else to help my aches and pains.

Ive been here several times for chiropractic treatment and massage. Both services are great. Dr. Vazquez taylors treatment specifically to your needs. Adjustments are never painful but are always effective. He utilizes additional therapies to increase healing. The massages are best Ive had. If youre looking for a massage that provides actual relief, this is it. They are familiar with muscle anatomy and understand how to apply massage pressure to release pain and tightness. Everyone here from the techs who deliver the additional therapies, massage techs, the front desk, the Dr. himself are all a great team. From the moment you are greeted at the front door through the time of treatment, everyone is polite and professional. The facility itself is clean and very nice. Whether your pain is from an injury or just stress of life, I recommend giving them a try!

When I first moved to Texas I didn t think I would find a chiropractor with the same level of knowledge as the one that I had in my home State. When I needed a chiropractor I found his place driving by and I decided to stop in. The first few visits, I didn t let him touch my neck. I was scared because my previous doctor had finally fixed my neck after years of pain management. But as Dr Vazquez slowly gained my confidence I was able to let him treat me with no restrictions. Then I hurt my lower back and needed to go a specialist do the MRI and take oral cortisone, pain medication, muscle relaxant and finally a shot of cortisone in my spine. Dr. Vazquez, my chiropractor, started a stretch table treatment, laser and shockwave - that saved me. I still carry my cortisone pills, just in case, but I am living my life normally, of course a little bit more aware of my condition but no more Aleve, cortisone shots etc.. I can say that Dr Vasquez brought back my freedom to go anywhere I want. I do recommend him to all those out there who are in pain with a pinched nerve, sciatica, back pain etc.

If you are looking for a Wellness Center that caters to YOU, then Texas Spine & Sports Rehab Clinic is the place to BE! DR. Vasquez and his team are amazing. He actually takes the time to find the root cause of your problem and then builds a specific plan to get you back to a pain free life or that certain activity you enjoy doing so much. Poor customer service. The doctor told me I needed to do X-ray. The front desk lady told me she should call the imaging clinic and have them reach out to me for a time to do the x-ray. Almost a month later, I still havent been able to schedule my x-ray. I spoke to the front desk a few times but that didnt help. When I brought it up they blamed it on the imaging clinic, which doesnt make sense to me. I am their patient and they need to do what it takes to help schedule my x-ray; if one imaging clinic is not available try a different clinic. Often times when their staff called me they refused to leave a voicemail and give me an update. Poor customer service overall likely because they have so many different businesses (spa, acupuncture, etc.) and have too many clients.

BEWARE of inconsistent billing and overcharges!! As an in-network patient, Dr Vasquez and management (Mrs Vasquez) provide numerous excuses that are not valid when under contract with the insurance company. Be cautious and monitor each charge on every visit. ASK FOR YOUR RECEIPT and insist that they bill your insurance first or agree to only pay your co-pay amount. Great Chiropractor but unfortunately money is overtaken the honest practice.

I was referred for hip and back pain because PT wasn t helping. Dr. Vasquez took the time to evaluate, assess and treat. I always feel better after a session. My symptoms are there but he gave me tools to help alleviate the pain if I can t come in for a session. We set goals and try to attain them. The staff is professional and friendly. The spa is an added bonus when you need a little muscle tension release. I would refer a person to the clinic.

I am recovering from injuries from my military service and been receiving medical care from the VA to deal with my back pain I was prescribed under a lot narcotic pain medications for years during Active Duty and After Retirement. When the Federal Government decided to stop providing pain medications to Veterans, there was no plan given to me by my Doctor it was straight Cold Turkey Detox and I was in trouble, so I sucked up the pain and I dreamed about Kung Fu Fighters and Shaolin Monks and reaserched about eastern holistic medicine Accupunture, Cannabis CBD ETC and detox. I worked with the VA for alternative Pain Management and A long struggle getting referrals and approvals, Dr. Jones, Referred Mr to Dr Vasquez of Texas Spine Sports. He was the answers to all my prayers, a painful 11 weeks of treatment reduced my pain levels from intolerable to best sleep you will ever have in your life! I mean that!. Including, I lost 10 lbs of water weight in the 2months I was in his program I went from 247 lbs to 237 lbs. I feeled detoxed, lighter, muched less in pain and the most important of all. I have a very active lifestyle which has taken a tremendous toll on my body, my joints, and my sleep. I was being told by my doctors that surgery was pretty much my only option. I came in with elbow pain. After few treatments the pain in my elbow was greatly reduced. I have spent many years lifting heavy weights and didn t take good care of my muscles. After several sessions I noticed a huge difference and after a couple months of care, I am pain free most of the time. Dr. Katie and her staff are amazing and I would recommend them to anyone.

Over the last two years I have been dealing with severe hip pain and stiffness. I have been to other chiropractors & masseuses that have promised the world with little results. Over the years (40+), I have been to many chiroprators and each have employed different techniques. For some time I have been afflicted with lower back pain. At a bike event I met with fellow bike rider and HealthWorks staff member, Kathy Kronlund and some of the staff. There they explained ART (Active Release Technique). After my first appointment I experienced immediate relief. The HealthWorks staff are very professional and friendly. I highly recommend you give HealthWorks a chance to help you. I highly recommend that you see the folks over at HealthWorks if you are in need of a chiropractor or need physical therapy. I have been going here for years for my sore back and stiff neck. I also dislocated one of my shoulders this last spring and came here for my physical therapy. The entire staff is awesome, professional, friendly, and I cant recommend them enough. Also, dont be afraid of the Graston tools. These guys can work wonders with those things.

Most chiropractors do just one thing, but not Dr Katie. She treats back pain, neck pain, etc etc - but also has a thriving practice treating runners, triathletes, golfers and the like. She has a special set of stainless steel tools (weapons!) and uses them for super-fast results - something called the Graston Technique. FANTASTIC!

After dealing with months of chronic pain and sciatica and visiting multiple chiropractors, I finally found Healthworks. Dr. Katie was the only doctor who seemed to really understand what is going on with me. Im still dealing with some pain, but I am much more functional now. I originally saw this practice on an ad through Facebook and to be honest im glad that it did show up on my feed! From the first meeting with Dr. Katie, I was extremely impressed with her knowledge, treatment strategy, and overall willingness to modify the treatment plan in the long term. I explained my off and on knee pain from an injury a few years ago and was totally expecting to have to go the MRI and surgery route. With the treatment plan provided and awesome help from the Physical Therapist (PT) Terrance. I could literally feel that my knee was getting better and better with a few session that passed. Fast forwarding to today, I am now in a one treatment every to weeks treatment frequency plan and still show with great improvement in my knee. To be honest, this is the best my knee has felt in years. Its given me back confidence to be more active and enjoy myself without worry of my previous injury or major flare ups. The people at HealthWorks are excellent at what they do and very professional. Their A.R.T. exercises, graston and stretching techniques are amazing at targeting the problem area and then bringing strength and relief. I had a very stiff neck and they worked with me to bring back mobility and range of motion. Within the first few appointments I was seeing noticeable and major improvements. Fantastic folks who made me feel like I was part of a Family the second I walked through the door. I had my 8 month old son with me, and they were very accommodating. The professionalism of the staff was unmatched, and the relaxed atmosphere immediately put me at ease. If you live in the Houston area... This chiropractic option was very helpful to me. I had cervical fusion surgery in 2003 but never had rehab on my neck. After years of very little mobility they were able to help me regain much of my lost mobility this year. The process took many visits but I am grateful to be able to look around without turning my body as much. The people are very nice and professional. They help me with numbness in my left arm two years ago with the Graston method and the Active Release Therapy is a new addition to their office offerings and was one of the methods used on my neck.

I really enjoyed my care with Dr.Hendrikz and his team. Hes a great listener as a chiropractor, which is important for any type of doctor. He addressed all of my needs and issues and got me feeling great one small step at a time. He introduced me to A.R.T, which is a great form of therapy that I hadnt heard of, and it totally works! As an avid trail runner, I was glad to find a chiropractor that had experience working with many other athletes and understood how important it was for me to get back to being 100% ASAP.
