Cynthia & Robert, I have been a customer for 16 years, since 2008, when i came in to watch the 2000 Presidential Debates with Obama in the bar area. I came in 9/10/24 to eat a nice dinner and watch the Presidential Debate. I was told that they werent allowed to change the channel to the debate. Having eaten only half my salad, I left (I did leave a tip as I believe it wasnt the servers decision). Im disappointed and will let others know of my disappointment. I have already spoken to 2 new acquaintances about this in the last 30 minutes, as well as 2 friends that I told to meet me elsewhere this evening. Poor, poor customer relations. Sincerely, K. Are you getting at least 2 servings of fish per week? Sometimes, it is hard because a lot of times, fish is not fresh and tastes fishy. At South Shore Grill, fresh fish is cooked to perfection! I love the fish tacos but request tartar over the menu sauce. The wait staff were friendly and the environment is nice. Drop by!

I was reminded on Tuesday that South Shore Grill is a great dining experience. I had forgotten this long-time gem in the area. Always friendly wait staff, great atmosphere and incredible food. If you like prime rib, its a must when you go here. The lunch menu is affordable with $10 lunch specials. Tuesday, it was a prime roast rib beef sandwich served almost Philly Style with grilled peppers and onions topped with provolone cheese accompanied by a side of your choice. And Grubhub delivers from there!

Went for lunch with a friend on Wednesday food was great, but the service was terrible so I shorted the tip, but probably should not have left one at all. We had to refill our drinks ourselves and it was like the waiters had a meeting or something being no where to be found. My friend made TWO trips to the drink fountain and wasnt challenged either time. Where was everyone? Usually when you do that they tackle you. I overheard one saying someone was called the b word. Save that for private spaces not the dining room. Dining time/Date: 1:35 PM 4/1/24 Receipt 30014). Also found this little gem under our table (see photo) I was glad it was a clean pitcher. Ill update this review by appending my score and this post as appropriate. I still recommend this place, but if the experience repeats itself we are lucky to have many other places to get food.

Very professional wait staff. Devin did a great job checking on the table and keeping our glasses full. We ordered a burger cooked medium rare (it was seared- raw except for browned outer layer), chicken sandwich, shrimp cocktail and fried asparagus. The cocktail sauce was great. Aaron was great! He was very friendly, attentive and thorough with the menu. We ordered Fried Asparagus for appetizers. Delicious! We had the Great Greek Salad with a cup of Roasted Corn & Crab Chowder. The crab was lacking in the chowder & the salad was not very Greek for a Greek salad. Usually red lettuce in a Greek Salad is used if any lettuce at all not iceberg lettuce. We also had the Blackened Mahi-mahi with a side Caesar salad . The flavor of the seasonings were good on the Mahi-mahi but it was a little dry & chewy. We had the Key Lime Pie for dessert.

First time here. I wanted fresh seafood and felt I got it. Our server was very professional, attentive and courteous, she was a gem! Three of us ordered and our food arrived promptly. I ordered shrimp pony and shrimp gumbo. Waste of $25! The pony had 5 shrimp on it with nothing but bread and fries. The shrimp had too much breading and tasted frozen. The shrimp gumbo had 2 pieces of shrimp not even a whole shrimp. It was a large so they split it into 2 containers the other container had a few small pieces of sausage with rice and the rouge tasted burnt. This was my first time ordering and unfortunately my last. I work too hard for horrible food. The photos are after I just picked out what I could eat. I m throwing the rest in the trash!

This has become my go-to place for brunch. The food is excellent. My most recent visit was 11/26/2023 and I had the. The Downside: There was not one ounce of baby is those backs, they were tough, flavor was not good at all, they were an all round bad choice. Im giving a 2 because the ribs were that bad and had the nerve to be on the menu twice!!! The Upside: I should have ordered the bam bam shrimp twice, it was absolutely delicious! Every side was wonderful: garlic green beans, garlic and mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, fried okra, and the brownie and ice cream was devine. Service was really good. Used to be better Weve lived in the area for five years and been to South Shore Grille often. It steadily has gone downhill since the pandemic. The food isnt prepared well and the prices have climbed. We had over-cooked salmon and one of our sides (yes, fried okra!) we asked for it to be extra-crispy. She wrote it down. It came out under-cooked. I get that a normal wine pour is 5 ounces, but $15 for an off-year Meiomi Pinot that costs $17 at the grocery store? At the end, all I could think was, I paid $70 (without tip included) for this? I hope they get their mojo back. Its convenient and a relaxing place. But with declining food standards and rising prices, its just not worth it today.

I took my wife and son to eat dinner after looking at their menu. Noticed they had prime rib and decent reviews. We are always looking for good restaurants near us and decided to give them try. I must say I m very disappointed with the food and service. We started of with drinks, a double crown on the rocks, a classic gin martini, and a beer. The beer was fine of course since it came from a bottle , the crown and martinis were watered down. I am a regular drinker of both and could tell right away. Service was slow and our waitress was not available for most of the meal. The prime rib was mediocre at best. Quite a few pieces were inedible. We ordered med rare. Had high hopes for this place but unfortunately we will not be going back.

I loved the darker, upscale pub style atmosphere. Service was great even though the staff was young and less experienced. Unfortunately I was not a fan of my Eggs Benedict; it had tomatoes and sautéed spinach on 2 slices of bacon and topped with an obviously fake hollandaise sauce. I will say the egg was cooked perfectly, but the dish was far from traditional. I will be back to try out the lunch menu! In reply to the owner: As I mentioned, I did not have an issue with service; Ill clarify further and say that I enjoyed the service provided. The only issue that I had was that the Eggs Benedict was not the best attempt at a trying to make it unique. In my opinion a traditional take on the dish would have been much better; at the very least using Canadian Bacon and making an effort to make real hollandaise sauce will revamp your most expensive breakfast item.

We went with a large group of about 30 which was pre-planned and they knew we were coming. Food was very slow and not well cooked. Im sure it would have been better in a smaller group but they couldnt really handle a large group. A lot of the food was either over cooked or undercooked. Some of the food came out cold. Would try them again in a smaller group but wouldnt recommend for large groups.

No reservation needed seated promptly. Coconut shrimp was great. The Ocean Grill Grouper was under cooked, shrimp was ok, scallops, good. The bread pudding was on point. The waitress needs to check on you more, very long waits between ordering items. Overall was ok but if I have to start looking around on for the waiter / waitress its been to long. This alone can cause me to not give restaurants a higher rating. Great Service is) expected when prices are crazy high and when people go out. Restaurant was probably 1/4 to 1/2 full max. Its a great restaurant and great food.

Went for Mother s Day and it was ok. Someone ordered grouper undercooked they reheated it and didn t change it. No flavor. Then came home and within a few hours my mother got sick like food poisoning. Been my first and last. Don t think was great. And why there saw two waiters arguing one said get out of my face. We went for brunch on a Sunday. The food was just alright, overall. I would say the pancakes were the best item we had. For the price, it was not a very impressive experience. Average price was $15-$20 per person for a small breakfast and coffee. Also, the server was very slow and inexperienced. Had to keep flagging her down for refills on coffee every time. I probably will not go back.

In town for a conference and stopped here for dinner. Had chicken sandwich with garlic green beans w/o the bun. Chicken breast was huge but better yet cooked perfectly. Had a couple beers a beer cost $2.60 each. I felt guilty paying a $17 tab for what I had. Highly recommend and bartender was great and hustled to keep up.
