June was an AMAZING bartender! Her way of making awesome drinks and knowledge of the making of each drink was astonishing! Restrooms were very clean. Food hit the spot! June really made me feel at home with his hospitality and kindness. Prices were reasonable. Luis the owner has made El Puesto a great place to hang out and enjoy a wonderful time. Highly recommend this place to eat and have a variety of cocktails to enjoy. A+++ check out Al la Birdie!

First visit, and in my opinion a good place to share a drink and have some conversation. The chairs are killers, a place not to be recommended for seniors. Very casual, nothing fancy. The food (tacos) were cold; only sports on TV. I will not return. My first visit, and in my opinion it is a good place to have a drink and chat. The chairs are very hard, I do not recommend this place for older people. Very casual, kids in shorts, t-shirts and caps. The tacos were cold and the tortillas were very thick. They only show sports on their TVs. I will not come back.

Okay...where to begin 1) salsas for chips perfect 2) drinks were absolutely perfect...wife loved her palomas and I could have the vodka Rickys all afternoon 3) chicharron with guac...omg! Warm with fresh lime great by themselves but add the guac...heavenly 4) tacos...brisket, mollejas, shrimp were fantastic...wife loved the ribeye and the fajita (she didnt share with me 5) black charro beans...very good Service was top notch and price was what I would expect to pay for a dinner, appetizer, and more than one round of drinks If you havent tried this place do so! Excellent!!!!!

First visit here after wanting to come for a while now and it was a very bad experience.... as you enter the place it smells like drainage and its mixed with deodorizer trying to cover the smell... the chips were rancid and the limes were old the salsas in my opinion are not good/tasty their beans are BAD nooo flavor so I asked to substitute with their rice which was BAD aswell nooo flavor either and to top it off when they bring my tacos they had a hair... gotta say the tacos were good they did replace the tacos but not worth going back. Its a pricy place so the least I expect is for it to be good. They really have to get a new recipe for their rice and beans...

These tacos are delicious!! I had the 4 Tacos meal (2 brisket and 2 molleja) with Black Charro beans and my friend had the Quesadilla Poblano bowl. They were both full of flavor and VERY well-served! I love the fresh strawberry dices on my molleja tacos...it gave it a sweet touch. The blue maiz tortillas a BIG plus!!

I came to eat authentic taqueria style tacos. I was so wrong. Where do I start? Well the atmosphere (not the staff, they re nice), is far from that taqueria ambience. The music was like shopping at the mall that was the first red flag, but I decided to give this place a chance. I REGRET IT!!! The food is horrible!!! It tasted so bad. I would be ok with not being authentic, but the flavor is horrible. I can t believe it has good ratings. NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS PLACE!!!!

8/28/21, came for lunch after several times of passing by and being curious. Looked delicious on Facebook. Ordered 4 tacos for myself to try out different menu items. Barbacoa de Brisket was the one with the least flavor. Looked delicious but was lacking in flavor and needed salt. Ribeye y Longaniza was was ok. Was expecting ribeye and sausage taco but instead came with a piece of pork that tasted like pastor, no sausage in this taco. Cilantro Lime Chicken taco was a pleasant surprise. Juicy, flavorful, tender chicken. Nicely seasoned, and would recommend a squeeze of lime for extra flavor. The skirt taco was the best of the 4. Perfectly seasoned, tender and moist. Again, with a squeeze of lime and salsa the taco was even better. The corn tortillas were awesome and the black charro beans were delicious. The quality of the food is obvious and ingredients are fresh. Dissapointed when I ordered a diet coke from the fountain and charged $2.50 for each refill! Will visit again in the future to try something else from the menu.

We came in to try out this place after passing by several times. We had high expectations but were disappointed. Ordered the brisket and pastor tacos. The meat was bland and lacking seasoning and was almost cold. Also ordered the mahi taco this was a step above the other tacos in flavor but nothing to recommend. My wife tried the cilantro lime chicken bowl. There was nothing that jumped out at you in flavors. Service was pretty good and our server took good care of us. We did not have any alcoholic drinks. In retrospect to other reviews maybe we should have to change the flavor profile.

Food was great. Price is ok. Not the first time we go. Service is lacking. I was over charged on my card by $90+, they told me about the mistake but they didn t want to work with me in correcting the mistake. The manager kept apologizing but kept telling me he could only have me wait 3 business days to refund my card or have my friends pay in cash (wasn t the plan) and give me the cash since the register wouldn t let him refund cash.

Although we have many taco places in Laredo not all of them are super good/impressive BUT this place totally is! Although it is on the pricier side it is definitely worth it. Pictures below include mahi fish taco, molleja and pastor. The tortilla was just right! Not too chunky and really good flavor I rated 4 stars because the salsas were not spicy at all (according to our Mexican tastebuds lol) oh! And our Clamato preparado was good as well Will def come back here :) The ambiance was so nice. Really cute design!

Pros- The tacos were all amazing, and for the most part , the shrimp burrito was mediocre. The quality of meat seems really good. And the sauces are fantastic. I really enjoyed the frijoles charros. The atmosphere here is great and i love that it is open seating. They also have a great selection of liquor at their bar. Cons- For the cost, the service was a bit lack luster. They forgot a couple items with our meal (the beans) and brought the sauces out after we had finished our meals already. The burrito was the downfall for me. I asked what was recommended, and the waiter recommended the shrimp burrito to me. Having seen pictures of them online, they appear to be covered in a crispy cheese crust. What I received was not that. It was very bland and the only flavor in the burrito was from the lime and the sauces. Overall, this is a nice little spot. The food is good and the portions are fair. I would recommend checking it out. Get the tacos, specifically the gringas, and the brisket. Those were fantastic, avoid the burritos and dont be afraid to say something if they forget.

We were there for my wife s birthday on 07/05. I got to say this place did not disappoint us at all. Food was excellent bar drinks perfect & service was also great. Now this is Laredo so if you are looking for a $2 taco then strips is the place for you. In the other hand if you want a great taco with a twist. Then this is the place for you. You will pay for it, but the quality & taste are well worth it.

Waitress was very pleasant. Service was very slow. Waited 26 minutes for two orders of tacos. The rest of the staff sat at the bar with their backs to the tables.
