I had the 9oz filet. The steak was a perfect med-rare, as ordered. My first bite had gristle, so not the best start. The seasoning was also very sparce, but Im aware that I prefer a well-seasoned steak. All in all, I would recommend.

Great atmosphere, service is good its understandable that waitresses take long to come around due to how busy it gets. The food is what makes it woIrth your the wait the juicy, delicious steaks, them white cheddar stuffed mushrooms, the salads, you name it, whatever you order, it will truly satisfy your taste, and appetite.

Today, was my first visit to Longhorn steakhouse. We arrived an hour before lunch so, only a few people were there. The place was quiet but, would get busier in due course. The atmosphere is rather nice; distinctly American, without being cliche. The staff was courteous, prompt and very efficient. Within a couple of minutes, our server brought a nice loaf of bread and butter, which was quite tasty. For an appetizer, we chose the delicious, brisket cheese dip served with pico de gallo as a garnish along with a generous portion of crispy tortilla chips. For my lunch meal, I selected the chicken fried chicken with buttery mashed potatoes and an additional side of fried okra. The chicken was very tender and moist with beautifully seasoned breading and southern gravy. The fried okra was also nicely breaded and fried without being oily. My meal was very good, indeed! So, my first visit to the Longhorn steakhouse was excellent and it will no doubt be my last. Im sure you will love it too. Go ahead, treat yourself! Parking: Plenty of parking available. The place is nice, I feel that the food lacked seasoning, the redeeming feature is the bread they give you as a starter, very delicious. I wanted to experience going to a Texan food place and I give my experience a 7.5. especially because I consider that being located in a city that is visited by many Hispanics, especially Mexicans, the menu was only in English and when it comes to food I think that at least they should have a menu translated into Spanish. Again, that was my experience.

Overall great experience. This was our first time eating at Longhorn Steakhouse and we did not regret it. They were great at accommodating our dinner group of 12 people and helped us with our 2 birthdays that evening. Waitress was very attentive but did take awhile for her to circle back to our table as it was pretty busy for a Saturday. Steaks were amazing and cooked to perfection and the smoked mac and cheese was perfect. Not a very extensive menu but had all the standards and prices are not the cheapest but the food was great. Recommend for family meals or that private dinner date

We went to eat dinner today and when I cut thru my chicken it was raw inside, pink color. The waiter did not even offer to replace it he just basically sent us off, we didnt have to pay, but the experience was terrible, dont go to Longhorn, they just rush to cook your food fast because they always have a lot of people, even the plates were not very clean either.

Its one of my favorite dining restaurants. The food is always on point to my liking. I always love sitting at the tables by the bar, but lately, the service to get greeted and served or even a refill takes so long that it took 10 mins for the bartender to come and take our drink order and to order and pay out. Ive seen where guests leave because they were never greeted. A server is needed at those tables.

I love longhorn steakhouse. I m not a regular but it s a favorite in special occasions (birthdays, anniversary, promotions, etc) but this last time was horrible. The lighting was horribly dim I could barely see my plate. My longhorn steak tasted burnt all throughout. I ate half of it since I was starving but once I was full couldn t finish it. I don t understand how it could taste burnt if it was medium term. Probably the grill was dirty and still cooked on it. Half the table got their plates after the other half of the table got theirs even when some of the plates were the same order. Sides were wrong. 2 of my nieces didn t get their plates until almost everybody was done eating. Some of my family members had to wait forever for refills. I brought this to my waitress attention maybe we could get a free dessert of something to make up for it and nothing happened. It was my birthday and it a complete and utter disappointment. After this we asked for plates to get cake but they also took forever to arrive. We had to wipe the small plates that were dirty in order to start eating the cake. Paying the tab was no different either. We took like 15-20 mins to pay the tab. It was past 10 pm and we wanted to go home.

Longhorn is my favorite chain steakhouse to eat at. While traveling for work,I am staying close enough to walk to one. I went at 8:30 at night, & there was still a 1/2 hr wait. Ended up sitting at the bar & eating. Both bartenders were great. From putting on the NCAA tournament game for me, to checking up on me regularly. I had the shrimp appetizer & the 6 Oz. filet with 4 Oz. lobster tail. Everything was cooked well. This Longhorn in Loredo, TX, is a winner.

I am sad to review this. It was a disaster. I went several hours before dinner to drop off a birthday cake for the surprise. Later, when we arrived, we were seated. Waited about 15 minutes before anyone came to the table. Finally server came. Took drink order, ordered appetizer and main course. Another 15 minutes go by and I had to ask another server for our drinks. 10 minutes later he shows up with drinks. Im not sure if he had any other tables in my area because we never seen him pass by. 30-40 minutes go by and the main course is served. He got several of the orders wrong after confirming when ordered. I cant eat sour cream, cant stand it. I ordered my baked potato with everything on the side and no sour cream. When I got my plate, I trusted it was correct. It wasnt. Instead of butter, they put extra sour cream. I didnt notice it. It looked like butter. I put it in my potato. After I found out it was not butter, I mentioned it to the server and he said he will bring butter. Potato was full of sour cream and he didnt offer to exchange it for a new one. Couldnt eat it. He never brought the fried onion appetizer. Told me he was going to bring it right away. I told him the appetizer is before the meal. Appetizer cancelled. He never brought out the Cesar salads for everyone (4). He then brought it after we finished eating. :( Salads not eaten. Then I get up to ask the server to bring the cake. Couldnt find him again! Asked another server. I requested the cake to be opened and recognize the birthday people with the traditional song. They said sure, no problem. This was supposed to be a surprise. I said that. About 15 minutes later, he comes to the table and says he is going to bring the cake. Poof, surprise gone! He comes back with the wrong cake. Leaves. Comes back eventually with my cake. Left it on the table and left. It was still in the package like I brought it. All my work on planning the surprise was gone in an instant. Very upset! This was a very special day and it was ruined with a easy task. At that point, I was livid. I didnt want to talk to anyone because I would have gone off on them. It was better to just leave. I paid the bill as it was given to me. It was not cheap. Didnt try to ask for discounts. Looks tacky when your with the love of your life, celebrating her birthday and anniversary and you are complaining about the bill. It was just a very bad experience. Dont take this review as if it happens all the time. Im sure majority of the servers are great. If you notice something not right from the beginning, talk to manager or request new server. Trust me, I wish I did.

Fancy steakhouse, perfect for a romantic dinner or simply to celebrate something special. The costs are a bit high but the portions are generous so its totally worth it. The attention was pretty good as well. Once you order, while your meals are prepared, they bring you some bread and butter to open the appetite, the bread was warm and freshly made. To start we ordered the Texas Brisket Queso which is basically melted cheese with Brisket and Pico de Gallo, which I highly recommend. Then we got the Outlaw Ribeye, one of the house specialties, we asked for it to be cooked at Medium, so it came very juicy and tender, also every steak includes two sides, and we decided to go for the Garden Salad (which includes lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, grated American cheese and a dressing of choice, we got the White Balsamic Vinaigrette, that was a very good combination), and the Crispy Texas Okra that was crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside, it was delicious. Some of the soft beverages include free refills and they also offer a small selection of beers, as well as hand-crafted margaritas and classic cocktails. Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options are reduced, but its mostly starters and sides. The majority of these items include dairy (cheese) so Itd be just a matter of asking the waiter to omit some ingredients to make it vegan.

The only reason I gave 1 star is because zero starts is not available. I will absolutely never order from this location! Three times in a row my order was not correct. This last time I requested for my sides to be separated from the steaks. My sides were placed in the same container. The fries and mac & cheese were soaked with steak juice. I ordered medium steaks. The steaks were not only over seasoned with salt but the steaks were well done. I don t know how you cook a medium steak well done. I usually never complain but after 3 times it tells me that not only is the kitchen bad, but there is a breakdown in leadership. The only thing I can say is positive is the curbside servers which I tip well. This location needs to close down for 1-7 days to conduct training. Negative stars and an utter failure on quality.

Really good place to eat with family and friends, sometimes they might not have lots of servers on the floor, and they might make you wait, but just 15 min no more. Steaks on point and great sides well heated and great attention from your waiter, loved the food
