Food is horrible, dont be fooled by their website pictures, my friend ordered shrimp stuffed with crab and wrapped in bacon, first the shrimp were way too small and filling was mostly cheese barely any crab, I ordered Chipotle alfredo with shrimp, no flavor on the sauce and the shrimp were small. Shrimp are not fresh and way too small, weird texture ( farm raised ). Place was empty.

If you are a sea food lover, you will definitely enjoy Costa Azul! Portions in the plates are awesome and very filling. There is lots of options other than just sea food as well. Service is very attentive and on point on taking care of your table. Food also usually comes out fast. Try it out see for yourself.

Best seafood in Laredo. Exceptionally clean. Everything looks freshly painted. Every dish you order is fresh and delicious. Service is great. Today we tried the habanero mango Agua chile and we werent disappointed. Definitely recommend the ceviche, the shrimp cocktail, and the jaiba stuffed shrimp.

Their prices are outrageous, I ordered pescado a la plancha plate for $6 but I asked for a combination plate of pescado a la plancha with shrimp and it turned into a $17 plate. If I had known it was going to be so expensive I would ve ordered a separate shrimp plate for $7 and it still would ve cost $13, which is still $4 less than a $17 plate.

My wife and I went for lunch there yesterday. The waiter was very friendly and I noticed they had the lunch specials for $7.99 advertised on the wall. So we went ahead and ordered two. The lunch special reads, Filete al gusto $7.99 monday through friday 11:00am til 2pm I think, (we got there at 11:30am). The food was ok but when I got the bill I noticed they didnt charge me $7.99 but $12.99 which is regular price. So I asked the waiter why?, since I made it clear I wanted the lunch specials.... Quickly some guy with glasses comes up to my table, im assuming hes the owner, and said the special comes with cole slaw and rice and you ordered fries on one plate and veggies on the other thats why its regular price. Then he asked me If I ate there often because everyone knows that... lol seriously? I asked him, then why wasnt I told that before?... and the guy just walked off... wow... ok... last time I eat here thats for sure!!!

I went to this restaurant because of the ratings but I found out that this restaurant was a bad option for me to eat. Food was OK but the conditions in cleaning was bad. I saw dead insects on the floor and flies in the garbage disposal inside the restaurant , I felt uncomfortable but I stayed because my friend insisted in eating there.

I order the fish a la plancha with no butter but I didnt know that the cooks didnt read they put extra butter on the fish and my wife cant eat that food. I called to tell them what happen the lady who answered was so rude and told me that they cant exchange the plate and cant get the refund for the plate that I pay $15.00 dollars and my wife didnt ate. So be careful when you order the food because you wont get the refund or exchange your order the way you want

Got food to go here alot back in 2017 & now again in May 2022 while in Laredo for work. Place is more expensive now but what isnt. Mariscos enchiladas & sm shrimp cocktail running $30 w/tip these days. Food is still good same as before. Large shrimp cocktail will run you $14.06 out the door before tip. This place is not for bargain hunters.
