Third time here. Did a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon and some appetizers for a light dinner. The pork belly and cauliflower bites are awesome. Coconut shrimp and bourbon wings are really good. Desert and coffee rounded out a great meal. Crafted drinks are the real deal.

A friend and I had Happy Hour here for the first time. Drink specials in a relaxed and warm atmosphere. Bar staff was attentive and professional. The Shrimp and Avocado Salad tasted as pretty as it looks. We also ordered the Brussel Sprouts that were flavorful and well cooked, not burnt. We will definitely come back to try more of the menu. I can only describe my experience as horrific, went here as a group of 3. We arrived and were told they have reservations for every table ~2 hrs from when we walked in, makes sense we should be able to get food & drinks before then. We took a table and told the bartender we were there, no server for 20 minutes, told them again and yet again no server, told them a THIRD time and still nobody. At that point the hostess came and kicked us out.... No words can describe the disrespect this establishment demonstrated. To add a cherry on top their bathrooms didnt work and had the patrons going across the street to the hotel....

This was our first trip. And we were celebrating a birthday of a friend in our 5 person group. Maries service was excellent. She handled my questioning about a skinny margarita very well and showed me the list of tequilas available there. and BTW their skinny marg was top notch. My friend got the smoked bourbon cocktail. He said it was terrific.. It got passed around for everyone to sniff. LOL The coconut shrimp were very good and creatively served hanging on the edge of a martini glass with the dipping sauce in the glass. I liked the pork belly bites. Wife thought they were a bit fatty. I liked them. The chicken lollipops were tasty. Reading the menu they had a surf and turf plate with black angus steak. For me that description was a red flag. But wife wanted to share that plate and i agreed. You always have to wonder which cut of the black angus steak you are going to get. So it was a sirloin. (why not just say that up front?) it was cooked properly to medium rare. it was topped with three shrimp and a delicious sauce. Overall the taste was very good. However, i must confess the toughness and chewiness of the sirloin cut left me underwhelmed. We will go again. I am looking forward to trying something different. Unfortunately i was ruled out on ordering any dessert so I get to look forward to that on our next visit.

Stumbled across this place while looking for a great bday dinner. Overall it has a lot going for it. The interior of the restaurant is eclectic, unique, but still inviting and warm. You can tell this spot has its locals and constant patrons. Our server was great, attentive, nice, and fast. Our food was solid, we had: - pork chop : the pork was fantastic! Brined to perfection. Will say the potatoes could have used a bit more seasoning since they felt a bit of an after thought but didn t ruin the dish. - burrata salad : sizeable portion of food and was a perfect balance of flavors. Had some nice salty vinegar flavors in the arugula. Tomatoes were fresh and it was all fantastic. Our cocktails were also very good. Can t say enough positives about that experience. Only thing that felt a tad odd is the music tbh. It was a mix of old classics with some more 60-70s rock which tbh felt polar to the overall vibe. It s a spot you d imagine music sitting between jazz and a soft techno atmos. Just a small thought.

My family of four really enjoyed the Gramercy brunch a new offering for the traditionally evening venue. We loved it. The food was delicious, particularly the Gramlette and French toast. There are great kid s menu options, like a cheese omelette and truly fresh fruit cup (raspberry, strawberry, blueberry, and banana). The staff was nice and attentive. I recommend it.

I ve been coming here for at least 2 years now. I stumbled upon this place when I moved to the area and it s absolutely amazing. The vibe, people/service, drinks and food are great. My favorite appetizers are the chicken wings (Buffalo & BBQ) with their homemade ranch, Pork Belly Bites & the waffle grilled cheese(add the chicken & bacon). My favorite drink is the smoked old fashioned, they have so many options to choose from and you can t really go wrong if you like the ingredients, my girlfriend enjoys the lakeside! Some key Entrées we enjoy are Shrimp and Grits, Gramercy Burger, Works Salad & Crispy Salmon! Starting April 30, 2023 they will be open on Sundays for Brunch!! We were invited to the soft opening brunch and I must say what I had didn t disappoint at all!! You have to wait until you get your food in order to get your drink just due to the local laws. We ordered 2 mimosas one passion fruit and one original they were so well made! For food, I had the Gramlette (Gramercy Omelette) and it was really good and flavorful! It came with some nice southwest breakfast potatoes and a mixed greens salad with Balsamic vinaigrette. I also ordered the French Toast and it s not your traditional it was an actual French baguette with bananas, salted Carmel sauce and powdered sugar, and it didn t disappoint at all. I cleaned both of my plates lol. The Gramercy never lets me down, and I ve brought so many people here and they always ask to come when their in town!

This is one of my favorite hidden gems! We are regulars to this restaurant. The owners and servers are very friendly! The ambiance is casual, chill, date night vibes. The decor is unique and I love it. I wish they could open another location near Austin/Domain area. Food: I love their apps: Buffalo and BBQ Wings, Pork Belly Bites, and Waffle Grilled Cheese with Bacon and Chicken. The entrees are great as well. I usually go for the Gramercy Burger or the Works Salad. I tried the braised Rib one time but it was too salty for me that particular day. Drinks: Their cocktail menu is fantastic too. The Lakeside is my favorite cocktail! If you love tequila and coconut you should try it! (1 will have you good for the night but you know 2 won t hurt). Brunch: We were invited to the soft opening for their new Brunch menu. The brunch and drink menu had great choices to choose from. If you like mimosas these are fantastic! You have to order and receive your food first before getting your beverage. Food- I chose the Steak Benedict (medium well) and a side of pancakes. The pancakes were fluffy and pretty good. The Steak Benedict was not as flavorful as I thought and didn t come out to the temperature I requested but our waitress, Katie, came to the rescue. I was able to change it the the G Burger. The G burger is great and very flavorful. The Gramercy will not let you down! Definitely 5 starts worthy.

Hey from The Brians! We recently got to go to the soft opening of BRUNCH at The Gramercy in Lakeway, and we have to say it was an awesome experience from this fam as always - even if brunch was new for them. The food was fantastic! B2 ordered the breakfast sandwich, and it is far from the traditional egg and cheese on bread. This complex layer of flavors, including roasted peppers, fresh avocado, and crispy bacon with a drizzled sauce to top it off was great. BC ordered the Hunters Plate with a delicious assortment of bacon, ham and sausage. The eggs were flavorful and for such a protein focused plate it felt quite balanced, and was well executed. Obviously, you have to make sure to top it off with a Pick Me Up coffee cocktail. The staff is always great - have you met the Hunt family?! If you ve never been, The Gram itself has a beautiful and edgy atmosphere, bringing the Gramercy of New York to Austin. In short, The Gramercy should be at the top of your next branch agenda!

Excellent experience at The Gramercy tonight. Not only does the owner tend to his tables but he creates a far beyond hospital experience as he does so. Our server was outstanding tending to our neediness at any circumstance. Ceaser was amazing and the food was to die for. The management has hired top notch staff to deliver the best experience possible and boy did they exceed the bare minimum. Im not paid to say this but dang, I d highly recommend The Gramercy to new and locals in Lakeway as it has an amazing atmosphere and drink selection. Let me start by saying, my 4 stars is for a non-alcoholic dining only experience. I should however give a shout-out to the bartender for an amazing orange-flavored mock-tail. The chicken wings were simply delicious, and the food was good. My friends had the steak, shrimp and grits, and salmon which were all amazing. I lucked-out ordering the brick-chicken (in the pic). Would have liked to have more non-alcoholic dessert options like a tiramisu without rum. The atmosphere is unique, a very nice retro theme with old movie playing on the TVs. At the tables with the couch on one side, it is not comfortable to dine, unless you are like 65 or taller. Remember to choose the tables to the farther right end of the dining room. We were excited to have dinner here, but were disappointed. Our appetizer of pork bellies came out tough and overcooked. While we were eating out appetizer our dinner came out. I hate that. No time to visit. Our server said that short ribs were enough for two but she served it during our appetizer and it was ONE rib with a plate of mash potatoes. It was suppose to have carrots and I missed them. Two slivers . One looked burnt. Hardly what I would call a serving. So disappointed. Our server said it was a lot of food, but while neither me or my husband are big eaters we were still hungry. We ordered two dessert. I also want to point our dining time was 25 minutes we were done with the dining experience. Bummer! We ordered two desserts. It took over 30 min to get served. The tiramisu was very good, but the chocolate shake was melted and tasted like warm milk. The atmosphere was nice but for the money we spent it really was t worth it.

I was pleasantly surprised at the Gramercy. First and foremost, the patio is very nice and cool. It was very comfortable even on the 100* Texas heat. I had the brick chicken which was pretty good. Bad service. No host to sit down. Here early enough for the full menu, but server didn t show for 30 minutes, causing us to miss main menu as the kitchen serves a smaller entree selection after 10pm. I get it. This establishment is targeting a specific clientele and obviously I did not fit the bill. Upon walking in, you ll be bombarded by cutesy decor that exhibits modernism with classism. Instead of playing sports on TVs, it plays outdated black and white movies. The majority of its drinks are made by blowtorches and the food is brought out in this chef dishes filled with smoke. This was the only place in town (not a chain restaurant) that was open past 10 PM and even then they had a limited menu. The chicken sandwich was over cooked to oblivion. If you want a tall, well this bar has a different definition of tall. Their bartenders can be more friendly. Bar may be decent to the clientele it attracts but for me, not my cup of tea.

One suggestion is they are very much in need of a general bar sommelier, as their liqueur selection, including whiskeys, is a little ammeter even though their presentation, service, and garnishing is on point. Old fashions are a little too sweet but ask for it smoked and do it anyway. Maybe just go for a high proof rye.

Pleasantly surprised by this new restaurant or new to us in Lakeway. What s interesting the whole area looks and has the feel of downtown Austin but it s actually Lakeway which is a huge plus. There s a hotel right there the La Quinta with plenty of parking. The goal of the restaurant is to look like it s a hotel and you are checking in and the feel is exactly like that. There s a Louis Vuitton bags under the check in desk and owner checked us in. The place was crowded but truly had the feel of a hotel in downtown New York. Service was good . The food was served quickly it was tasty and very reasonably priced.. The drink was good with a large cube of ice that only missed having the emblem of the restaurant embedded in the ice cube. Bottom line it s a unique restaurant and a change and certainly a treat to be able to have such a cool restaurant with zero headache to get into . The tables have large mirrors so you could see the crowd at the bar behind you which seemed to be having a very good time. We had a great time and will probably go back soon.

This is THE SPOT. You pull up and look around and dont really get excited. But then you walk in and its like your transported to this low key jazz bar with really great staff and bartenders. The drinks were superb. Werent price gouging at all and had a stellar menu. Even with the doors being up and being able to see the other businesses nothing distracted from the experience. I wish this place e was in my home town. I wish I could become a regular. Its that good of a spot. Go there now!

Agree that the atmosphere (ambience if you prefer) was great, as was the food. Drinks? Meh. I requested a Bloody Mary, only to be told that we dont have those. Why? Well, I guess its just not a drink they want to make. Given the popularity of the drink, that attitude is just lazy. Buy some Zing Zang, add some tabasco and Wshire, and as they say over at Hops N Thyme, then just shake the s**t out of it. So I requested one of the draft beers on the menu, but was told we dont have that one. Then either order and tap a keg, or take it off the drink menu. Details matter. I enjoyed myself, and will return, but there are opportunities for improvement.

Okay so 3 stars because this is a great spot for my co workers and I after work. Ambiance is great service is ok. But my main complaint is 4-5 times I have ordered on separate nights off of their late night menu because I am usually there after 9-10, every time I have either gotten a burger or a chicken sandwich and it is just absolutely burnt everytime when I get home. Most recent being 2 nights ago. I wish they could fix this because it s really frustrating and it s such a nice bar that s all they are missing. Owner and his son are nice guys.

Love this place! They have an amazing New York strip steak seasoned with peppercorn. Great ambiance, friendly staff - it was the perfect place to have dinner after The Lake Travis Film Festival. Definitely make reservations ahead of time; Im so glad we did. And even if you have to wait a little bit, its so worth it.

If youre looking for a swanky place in Lakeway to have some cocktails and people watch, this is the place for you. In tribute to the Gramercy hotel in NY, this bar is interestingly decorated. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and his sons too. They have an impressive list, a ton of bourbons on the wall and can craft the cocktail of your dreams. They do serve food until 11pm if you need something to soak up the booze. The waitstaff is attentive and friendly. This place has easily become one of my favorite bars. Highly recommend!

The Gramercy was a spot we found by sheer luck and we are SO glad we found it. From the hostess to the bar staff you are made to feel welcomed. Billy Joe, Billy Ray and our main bartender and great mixologist Layton made our visits an experience to remember. The excellent drinks and the delicious food coupled with the wonderful staff definitely deserve a visit if you are ever near or if you are looking for a getaway. My wife and I are definitely going to return to enjoy more one of a kind drinks and food. From their wings to their artichoke bacon dishes and grilled octopus to their fascinating drinks, we highly recommend you partake in this delicious adventure. We are sure you wont be disappointed.

Really great experience ! They advertise as upscale. It has a large outside eating area. There are couches but the chairs are not upscale. The place has a nice ambiance but not swanky like expected. The prices are swanky 13.75 for house chardonnay. The have a great bar and great drinks. But they are very pricey and small. Not comparable to other places that put an old fashion in a highball glass these are in a martini glass. The staff and servers are wonderful. The brick chicken was bland. We had a large party and there really is not an area for large parties. More of a bar than restaurant. We had one order come out after everyone already were eating. Disappointing.

The ambiance inside is very nice. Went there last nite with a large party to celebrate a birthday. The service was very slow. Our table 2 people ordered the burger, It was delicious. 3 people ordered the short ribs, they also were very good but inconsistent with serving size. The birthday girl ordered the brick chicken and she said it had no flavor and tasted like it had been poached/boiled. She was very disappointed. One last note was the price of wine, $13 something a glass. Way too high. But I will definitely give them another try. The staff was very nice.

This is a cute spot that reminds me of a speakeasy I frequent when in Barcelona. The drinks are good but I found that they dont serve large ice in drinks like an old fashioned. If youre going to have the look of a unique and whimsical spot...you cant skip put on the ice. Rating this place 3 stars instead of 4 based on the entrees. I grabbed the shrimp and grits and it was not the best meal (honestly I think the used instant gritts). I would say of you are going there stick to drinks and appetizers. Cute ambiance.

Stopped in the other night for dinner and was very happy to see such a nice new place pop up. The whole restaurant and bar is beautiful and unique, and the music they played was a lot of fun and quiet enough to still have a conversation. I had the burger with Brussels sprouts as a starter and their strawberry shortcake for desert. Everything was presented beautifully with and had its own unique thing going on that took it above what I m used to a place like this. Honestly, I d get the Brussels sprouts for dinner on their own if they made a big enough portion too but I m excited to see what else they have next time.

We spent a few hours there last night and didnt want to leave. Great cocktails, amazing atmosphere, and the service was top notch. We had the salmon and the steak frites. Both were awesome (and Grandmas mousse for dessert!). So happy to have a more local option out West. This is every bit as good as any lounge downtown. Nice outdoor seating available for the Covid-conscious. This is our favorite spot right now.

An amazing new restaurant right in Lakeway! The ambiance is unreal, they really placed close attention to the details. Nice warm lighting, choice accessories, and my girls basically fell asleep on the couches. An additional nice touch is that they have classic movies playing in the background. Food and cocktails were great too! I had the shrimp & grits which were on point, and the chef was kind enough to modify some items for my kids. The owners stopped by to make sure everything was ok (which it was) as well. HIGHLY recommend trying this place out on date night, or even as a family as long as your kids are flexible and willing to try new things (ie NOT eat chicken fingers).

Great new addition to our community. Glamorous speakeasy/20 s decor feel intimate. Service is attentive and friendly. Food is executed beautifully and very tasty. I had the tomato and burrata salad and the NY strip. Both were excellent. I substituted the papas braves (for a small up charge) on my entree and LOVED them. I completely understand why these are are offered as as a starter, so good. I m addicted after one taste. Also of note was the crust on the steak. Outstanding! MY Strip is not usually my fav but this was very tender and the crust made the dish. Welcome to the neighborhood, I hope Lakeway treats you and your great staff extremely well.

The restaurant decor is amazing. Not much of a wine list. The food was so so. We got the grilled octopus and it arrived to the table at room temperature. We were expecting it to arrive to the table hot. Then we got the shrimp and grits. There was so much grease all over the grits, it was almost inedible. This also arrived at maybe room temperature. Then we tried the tostadas. These just didn t taste good at all. I m excited to have a new restaurant in Lakeway, but if I return, i will not be ordering food. 0/3.
