A truly beautiful and unique venue with a dedicated and delightful owner! The venue is clearly well taken care of, is full of lovely whimsical details that are complimented wonderfully by the greenery in the warmer months, and it overall feels much cozier and comfortable than the average wedding venue. We were so happy to have our wedding in such a special and memorable place, and Shelly was a joy to work with throughout the whole process! She brought her wealth of experience and great attitude to our event, worked with us make it what we want, and was pivotal in making sure it ran smoothly. Hidden Gardens Venue was a big part of making our wedding a beautiful memory!

This review is in response to the snarky reply to my 3 star rating. I HAVE been there and On your and I wasnt terribly impressed. Drap settings and maybe history. I gave you a 3 star because you were friendly and it was a fairly nice looking place. But Im light of the fact you cant take a 3 star rating and be thankful and maybe ask how things could have been better Ill be dropping my rating to a 2 star. Get a little decorum and try again.

I have come to this restaurant 2 nights in a row because the food is EXCELLENT and the entire staff are super friendly. They serve food until 11:30pm and it s beautiful inside and also in the outside private garden seating area. First class establishment! -Capt Colin Jost Van Dyke Scuba - BVI

We had the joy of photographing a wedding at this venue recently, the venue owners were some of the friendliest we have ever met and the venue is packed for of charm. Between the gorgeous landscaping and the remodeled building on the property this venue is perfect for someone looking for a comfortable welcoming place for there wedding.

The most beautiful venue with the most AMAZING ownership. Shelly is just unbelievably helpful and lovely. She helped make sure my day was PERFECT and the way I wanted it to be. She helped me find other vendors who ended up being just as helpful as she is. I would ve never found them if it weren t for her list. The venue has the most romantic vibe and I love absolutely everything about it. If you re a couple searching for your venue, you don t need to look any farther if you re at Hidden Gardens. Loved this venue for any occasion. I attended a celebration of life as a close friend died. The grounds are beautiful. I left feeling that my friends family should be proud of how things were handled. A warm, comfortable, personal feeling. Sad but uplifting.

We got married here back at the end of April and it was absolutely gorgeous! Everything was incredibly green and the photographs were unreal with the background. We re so so happy we found this venue after extensive research. Shelly is accommodating, kind and she loves what she does. If we were to start over we would choose this venue again. This venue is bursting with beauty and whimsy! I felt like I had left Texas and was stepping into a garden in England when I arrived. Shelly and her husband own and operate the venue and were both so kind! She jumped in and offered her help repeatedly. There s something so special about this place and a lot of that is because of how much the owners care about their guest s experience. My best friends daughters wedding was held at the Hidden Gardens Event Venue on Sunday. The venue is absolutely gorgeous! The dark wood, stone, ivy, antiques, layout and gardens are stunning. I assisted with decorating for the wedding/reception and Shelly, the owner, went above and beyond. She was helpful at every turn. Do not hesitate to book this venue!

Today was my first time at this beautiful venue. It was very comfortable. I enjoyed the picturesque garden, fountains, and open patios. The resoration of the home is impressive. Upstairs there are suits for gents and ladies that are set up perfectly for each. This place is wonderful. It has so many great spots to take photos and the sunset is magical. Well done. 10 / 10

You know when you find something so good you actually don t want to share it with anyone because you want it all to yourself?! That s this place. Hahaha. I am so glad I stumbled upon Hidden Gardens venue when searching for wedding venues. Our wedding day was a dream come true!!! I am so thankful for Shelly and her team. Shelly has such a personable and welcoming attitude which really stood out to me when searching for a venue. She also owns a local florist shop that we hired for the wedding. Amazing!!! Shelly gave us a list of preferred vendors at our first meeting which was helpful. We were able to tour and view the venue and meet with Shelly multiple times before the wedding day. Any questions I had she answered right away. I picked this place because I loved intimate feel and ambiance, and I also loved Shelly s idea for a Plan B if it rained. I held my wedding here and it was beyond perfect in every way. The scenery is gorgeous, you really dont have to decorate much on your own because its already so beautiful there! I cant begin to tell you how amazing this venue, and the wonderful women that runs it are! Shelly was incredible the whole time! she made sure that everything was groomed and perfect for our special day and helped make sure everything went smoothly with both set up and tear down! The venue itself is Beautiful! so much amazing history in this building and it was the perfect canvas for my bride to paint her vision on! We are so happy with how it turned out and couldnt have asked for a better place to celebrate our wedding! Brides! The suite she has ready for you is fantastic for getting ready! it has plenty of space and vanities for getting ready with your brides maids, and alot of great places to get photos while getting ready! GROOMS! You are not forgotten! The Grooms Suite is off the Chain! Its got a Poker table Video games and plenty of room for you and the Boys! There is a ton of space throughout this venue to accommodate all kinds of activities and vendors! We had Ice Cream, DJ, Bartender, Bubbles, A full flower wall for photos, and so much more! Its the perfect spot to build your perfect wedding for sure! Thank you Shelly for allowing us to have our Reception at your beautiful Venue! Attended a graduation party. It was our first time to visit Hidden Gardens. Its a secluded place in a former multiple rooms home that has been completely remodeled. Its a very unique home now event center with several outdoor activities and locations for various events. Definitely worth checking out this center for smaller weddings, family reunions and parties. The owner is a graduate of Azle high school so go support her local business.

Our wedding last weekend was at Hidden Gardens. You will not find better people to work with than Shelly, her family, and her preferred vendors! From the first time we took a tour of the venue, and every little step along the way Shelly has always been there to help with any questions that I had or just was a listening ear when I needed to vent (we all know how stressful weddings can be!) I truly appreciate her treating us like family and allowing for us to share the happiest day of our lives there at her beautiful venue. We also used Shelly (Lake Worth Florist) as the florist for the wedding, and because she knows the venue so well I feel that she was able to make our ceremony/reception even more beautiful (if thats even possible). 10/10 would highly recommend to anyone searching for the perfect venue to celebrate their wedding with friends/family. I cannot wait to see the photos from our special day in just a couple of weeks!

I had my wedding here in November, Shelly is absolutely amazing, she was so helpful and knowledgeable. The venue is absolutely stunning inside and out, it didn t take much in the way of decor sense the scenery is so lush. If your looking for an outdoor venue in DFW this is definitely the place I cannot express enough how magical this place is. Also if you need a florist Shelly(venue owner) owns a shop she did my bouquet and it was stunning!

OUTSTANDING VENUE!! Had my sons wedding there and it was perfect. Gorgeous building and grounds. Shelly (owner) was very accommodating, easy to work with and was a calming influence with the entire process. Booked the catering through the venue and the food was awesome (brisket, sausage, beans, etc.). It ended up raining the day of the wedding, no issues pivoting to an alternate plan within the building. I cant say enough good things about this business. HIGHLY recommended!!

This place is beautiful even if you dont have a lot of decorations to provide yourself. The owner--Shelly was a joy to work with and very communicative, flexible and helpful. Easy 5 stars! My wife and I had a baby shower here with my family and many friends. The building is very nice. The atmosphere is just lovely and feels great. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the owners are just good people. My only complaint is that it was a bit too hot/warm and at times it was uncomfortable. Overall a great venue and rare find for the price.

I cant say enough about how wonderful our event was. The owner Shelly was very thoughtful and kind, she responded quickly and professionally. We needed to have a baby shower but with the COVID situation we knew it would be a challenge. There was a lot of space giving us ample room for social distancing and a separate rooms for the to-go foods and the new mom and dad. We had guest stand at the door to the main sitting room inside and greet them to hand off the gift, it worked great. The property was manicured and the plants were well cared for. The inside is rustic and authentic to the age of the house. The facility was very clean and easy to clean up afterwards. If you have any event coming up I give this place 6 stars. There is no place you can find that equals the quality for anywhere near their price.

This place is a really cool venue to have a wedding at. We attended my brothers wedding here this past October. Its definitely a cool piece of history and theyve done a great job of keeping its original look, with good/necessary updates. It is a little cramped when you have a lot of people there, so I would definitely suggest having a small wedding here. My brother had about 150 people at his, and man it was pretty difficult to navigate through the building.

Just had my wedding at Hidden Gardens and it was truly beautiful. Shelly coordinated with me, kept in touch, she is really polite and listens to you and what you need done. She had everything arranged and taken care off by the time we got there. This place is truly amazing, beautiful and unique. All my guests were really happy and commented that I chose an amazing place to get married. Highly recommend this place and best of all very reasonable priced compared to other DFW locations which want minimum $1K as a base asking price.
