They offered us a free roll to sample. It wasnt on the menu yet - the Empire Roll, and it was really good. I ordered the mango tango roll and it was so good - will be ordering it again soon. The rest of my family enjoyed their food, too. Prices were typical of a sit down sushi fusion restaurant.

My go to place for sushi. Staff is very chill and friendly every single time and food is always awesome. Appetizers always come out warm and sushi always taste fresh. Definitely recommend! Kid-friendliness: Taken my niece multiple times from when she was 9 months and she s now almost 2. Staff was very friendly and patient and the environment was very calm where she would not be overwhelmed.

Rated a 3 because of the food. I ordered a house lo main that came out delicious everything tastes fresh and good. But the pork ramen I ordered was very salty and the meat its self was definitely old. Pork chatsu is usually very tender and moist. The pork chatsu I got in this restaurant was very dry and tough. Don t recommend the ramen here but other dishes could be good.

For my money this is the best Sushi place anywhere in southeast Houston. We have been going here since they first opened. What a treat this place is. The food is always exceptional. I love the plum wine. The owner is so sweet and Im glad they are back open for dining indoors.

This is a small cozy Cafe style restaurant. The waitstaff this evening was 2 servers and I want to say they arr excellent. From the moment I walked in, unfamiliar with the place I was greeted and welcomed by one of the servers. She was helpful and in good spirits as the place was starting to get busy. Again, small setting. There was people coming to order to go, and folks picking up orders and these 2 ladies never missed a beat. I was impressed with service immediately. I highly recommend FuJi Sushi. Number 1 the service, obviously. 2 its local and I root for the home team. Yall know supporting local businesses is the way to be. So Im letting you know if you havent been here, get here. 3. Food is great. It was what I expected and the menu had great variety. 4. I have a cat name Fuji Moto. Fugi Moto the cat is awesome, so with the name FuJi Sushi, I had to go check it out. The live up to their name sake. Ok yall get out there and support our local businesses. Skip the usual, Apple Chili Garden will still be there I promise you wont miss a thing.

Sushi is a cultural ambassador that bridges the East and the West. - Unknown It was my initial visit to the establishment. We were provided seating at a sizeable table for our corporate meet-and-greet luncheon for the newly hired employees. Due to capacity constraints, space was limited, resulting in restricted elbow room. Now, disregarding the aforementioned inconvenience, the Mango Tango sushi roll emerged as the exceptional highlight of the experience. It was nothing short of remarkable, an exquisite culinary delight that surpassed any previous sushi experience I have had the privilege of enjoying. The egg drop soup complemented the meal perfectly, delivering an exceptional gustatory experience. Our server demonstrated attentiveness, politeness, and exceptional courtesy throughout the service. In conclusion, I hold this establishment in high regard. The sushi is truly exceptional, characterized by robust flavors and offered at a reasonable price point. The ambiance can be described as semi-casual and cozy, although it may not be the most suitable venue for large gatherings. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment and bestow upon it my highest commendation.

We love it here! The sushi is so great, the atmosphere is so casual and cute. This is not the place for large parties though. Its a very small location but the menu options are not lacking at all. Been here a couple of times, service is always spectacular! The food is inexpensive and delicious. The first time I went there, they had a Special Fall Roll that wasnt on the menu, it was just offered to us by the waiter. I dont know what was on it but it was so tasty and flavorful, it mightve been pumpkin and I dont even eat pumpkin. When I went back the second time we asked about it but they said they cook them during particular seasons only, and its up to the chef what to cook. I wish more restaurants did this. 10/10 every single time Ive been there.

It was our first time here. It was four of us adults. We were in a booth that was definitely small. We didnt have much elbow room (I do like my elbow room). My husband and I ordered the cream cheese puffs, a beef ramen, a spicy chicken ramen, and also the Crazy Mary sushi roll. Everything was delicious! The Spicey Chicken Ramen was spicey on its own, but I still added Sriracha, and it was perfect for my taste! Our server was wonderful. She tended to us well. Although we were hidden in a corner booth, she was intentional about making sure we werent forgotten or overlooked. The place is small and gets full, but the atmosphere is good. Prices are reasonable and average for the food we ordered. We spent $40 on our food. Overall, it was a good experience. We will visit again.

I have never been disappointed by this place. Everything on the menu is amazing!! The sushi is amazing! It takes them a little time to make on busy nights, but its totally worth it! On Thursdays and Friday they have a free Empire Roll. Boy!! That thing is UHHMAZIN!!! Its a friends Sushi roll! Now this place is small, it has about 9 tables? Maybe? Evening get a little packed. If you like a quiet spot, this may not be the place for you on weekends specifically. Because its small, it may get a little loud. To each their own. I know some people can get over stimulated with too much sound. Depending on the patrons of the day. The waiter Daniel, is amazing! He at times runs a one man show! Because of other obligations I had to stay home on Christmas Day when my family went to my cousins house, the place may not have been full but there was only one server at first I thought it would be slow but it wound up being just as fast as if they had more than one person on a full day the food was good priced right and I highly recommend it. While its name is Fuji sushi it has multiple sushi types and it has the normal type of Chinese food like general chicken or sweet and sour chicken and all the others with rice stuff noodle stuff and even some ramen selections well I didnt choose any of the Romans or noodles and Rices they do look good and reasonably priced. So whether its an intimate dinner for two or a small family outing theres almost no place better in the area than Fuji sushi.

States that they are open until 10pm, but wouldn t take my order at 9:30pm. Why advertise it then? People make plans based on the assumption that you will keep your schedule as advertised. Girl on the phone said it was the owners orders to decline taking our order, so we ll see about that, because that s terrible management. Wow from the moment I walked in to the smiling employees I felt like it was going to be a great experience. Service was extremely horrible. I ordered over the phone ahead of time and the lady said 10 minutes. As soon as I got there 10 minutes afterwards, the food was not finished and the lady told me to sit down rudely. I wanted to pay ahead of time to save some time but she told me to just have a seat. 20 minutes have past by and the food was still not ready. I stood up and asked how much longer, and apparently my food has been sitting on the counter in the back. As soon as I got back to work, the food was cold since it was sitting on the back counter. I do not recommend this place at all because they are not professional when it comes to a sense of urgency for food orders. I m very shocked and disappointed that they let this happen.

Nope! Ordered delivery. Mongolian beef was soggy onions with a bit of soggy fatty beef that was not mild as specified, so could not eat - after 1 bite I needed a Benadryl. Shorted me on one of my orders of crab puffs. The crab puffs that I did receive were absolute perfection though. Restaurant was closed by the time I got order so couldn t do anything but give my dinner mate the good crab puffs and go to bed hungry

Edit: Ordered from them again and am very happy to see more vegetarian options! Thank you FuJi for taking my comments into consideration! Ordered delivery via door dash, took a while but it was also Friday night. My biggest complain is that it is VERY limited on Vegetarian options. No tofu/vegetable options for the dishes like general tsos, etc. I checked their actual menu online thinking it might be a door dash only problem, but its not. So be warned vegetarians, this is not the best place for you. Their non veggie options were good though, although Ive had better egg rolls.

I ve driven past this place easily 100 times and said I d try it one day and eventually I did, and was not disappointed at all. I got the Lion King Roll & Mango Tango roll.. both were extremely tasty. I 100% will be returning here next time I m in town to try other rolls as well - recommended!

My wife and I enjoy sushi and weve eaten in many sushi restaurants world wide. This restaurant is fantastic! We got into town late and ordered everything to go, figured this was a quick bite. But when we started eating at the hotel, we were both blown away. The sushi and sashimi combination was very well prepared, and the sushi rice was perfect. The temperature of all our dishes was well managed. Too often sushi is served cold, but it should actually be room temperature. This is one of the few restaurants in Texas that got it right. Great meal!

Nothing had flavor besides the packaged soy sauce. Sushi upset my stomach and tasted off, I immediately had to go to the restroom and feel like its gonna come up. Called and requested a refund which they said they will do, but then were offended when we told them we were physically sick to our stomach. WHEN SERVING FOOD OF ANY KIND NOT TO MENTION RAW FOODS, YOU MUST TAKE THAT CLAIM SERIOUSLY. Worst food Ive had in a long time, I recommend Walmart sushi over this. **Just to note someone elses review 3 days from mine claims to have gotten food poisoning**

This was our (my husband and I) first time here. It was recommended by a friend. It was busy, but not crazy busy. Place is small and cute. Food was delicious. Service could have been better. We had no cutlery or napkins. Even after we got our food. We were forgotten and had to keep reminding our waiter and even the cashier for things we requested. So for our first visit, it wasnt a great first impression. We will try again only because the food was good. Hopefully service will better at that time. ***Update: We seemed to have gotten food poisoning shortly afterwards. Woke up with our stomachs not feeling well. We wont be returning***
