The fajitas buffet is delicious. The beef fajitas are tender and vary flavourful (not spicy). The Carne Guisada burrito is totally worth it. Tinder meat, good amount of cheese, the rice, and refried beans that came with is great.

Be sure and go right at 11:00 or right after there because if you go any later than 12:30 or 1:00 everything will be dry and half of the food will be gone, they dont put any new food out... there were no sauces or guacamole, hot sauce, or pico de gallo. There was barely any gravy on the enchiladas, the enchiladas were curled and starting to dry, the rice had been there a while...dry on the edges.., the beans were the best of the whole buffet... it was not worth the money. For lunch $14 a person, no way...

The First time going to Benitos it was pretty good! tasted homemade, we tried the buffet it had cheese enchiladas with carne guisada, tostadas, rice, beans, borracho beans and stuffed bell peppers. Apparently on Thursday night they have a fajita buffet for 16 dollars! Seems like it would be worth it , as I said everything seems homemade. I talked to Will which I think was the owner extremely friendly and courteous. He extended invitations to come back we talked and shook hands. I definitely think its worth the trip to La Marque. They even have breakfast burritos.

Love family owned business. So the owner opened just for my family that just got off a cruise. Google said opened and when we pulled up, they were closed. The owner came out while we were looking for another place to eat and cooked just for us. This is the love all of us need in the world. I have to say this family owned Mexican restaurant has it going on. My first time there and definitely will not be my last. Everything we ate and tested (complimentary testing) was the best I have eatin anywhere. The salsa was amazing and NOT the yucky warm stuff either. The staff was very friendly as well. I went at 12:30 lunch time... I was greeted and told I was welcome to view buffet or get a menu..... The buffet had several tacos. Crunchy hard taco boats covered with lettuce and tomato... There was a hot bubbling pan of refried beans... A very large empty serving platter of possibly Mexican rice.... It sat empty for the 1.5hrs I was there. About 2:00pm it was replaced with a huge platter of rice. Then there was maybe 7 or 8 enchiladas, probably cheese, sitting under heat lamp looking ok Im sure cheese was melted and mixed in Tex Mex gravy. To me in my personal opinion if there was queso on buffet, Id gladly had tacos, enchiladas and rice n beans with a lil topping of queso... There was also an option of red beans on buffet. The server waiter, Juan, gave me a cup to sample.. They were delicious! Bomb.com They didnt have tomato, cilantro or jalapenos in them, making them legit borracho/charro beans, but, they were Absolutely on point delicious! I definitely would have been interested in buffet had it been filled... Prices were decent. I opted for a plate with a bit of everything.. Benitos special. Im not a fan of fried Chile Relleno but I was very pleasantly surprised to be served their version of one. Im pretty sure it was a steamed Bell Pepper with tops and bottoms cut off, then halved and filled with Mexican rice and taco.meat, topped w queso. ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING.. That pepper was so velvety soft and richly flavored. It was DECADENT...I also had a beef enchilada as well as a cheese enchilada. I was incredibly impressed with this tiny lone standing building thats probably every bit of 50years old. I cant wait to make a mini mile drive to show my appreciation for lil Mom and Pop places that were able to stay throughout the many months of not knowing what was to happen... If not for the effects of the lil wonder of society called Facebook. I got to meet the cook, Mom, Im sure, she was authentic, kind and well spoken... I thoroughly enjoyed dining there and will definitely bring a crew out for Thursday nights Fajitas and Enchiladas buffet... Por Favor
