Writing this review without crying is going to be hard. I lost my dad 35hr before giving birth to my first daughter. The pain and trauma of birth along with the crushing pain of grief was so overwhelming. It made a lot of things that we re supposed to be beautiful very hard to see and feel. Shaina and my friend worked so closely to make sure I felt beautiful and that my session was relaxing and easy going. My make up and hair was done like a queen I almost didn t recognize myself. It was amazing! Shaina posed me so precisely, making sure even the smallest hair was in the right place. She encouraged me when it was getting hard and emotional and even cried with me. After more family loss and financial struggles this kind, sweet soul Shaina edited our photos for free and expected nothing in return. She added my dad to one of our photos and made it look as if it were real. I just can t believe it!! I look at these photos and not only remember how wonderful it was to take them but am able to look and remember the beautiful tiny moments of my daughters newborn phase. This experience was a blessing beyond words and I can t thank her enough.

Shaina is amazing! She will pose you down to your fingertips! I didnt I would look good in photos since I am very uncomfortable when I cant see myself on a screen while taking a picture but Shaina captured me in the best way possible!

I absolutely enjoyed every minute of my session, from the moment that I booked to the very end of my glamorous photo session, Shaina made me channel my inner Goddess and made me feel careless, fearless, and SEXY! Thank you so much for all of the hard work and effort from Shaina and her team, this was an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend it and give Rose Drake Photography a 10/10 hands down!

It is harder to get some things done with a newborn baby, but Shaina was very patient working with us and making changes with products afterwards. I came to Rose Drake Photography because I wanted to always have these moments of my son to look back on. There is something priceless and magical about a moment in time captured before it s gone. I am very happy with the outcome and will cherish these photos forever!

Shaina is beyond AMAZING at what she does!!! She is very creative, attentive, patient and so passionate about her profession. I literally had my dream maternity/mommy son photo shoot! This was not your ordinary shoot and very much all worth it!!! She gave me the whole nine yards starting out with sharing a Pinterest board full of ideas, from shopping with me to pick out outfits, to choosing an awesome makeup and hairstylist! She even had my favorite Frappuccino drink and my sons favorite candy, Skittles, during the shoot! She made me feel at ease by having my favorite rock music to jam to during the session and also made me feel like such a total badass Queen! I loved every minute of it! Shout out to Shaun for making me look so beautiful with makeup and hair. Also for going above and beyond by keeping my son entertained while I was doing my solo shoots. :) You are such a sweetheart! Shaina pours her heart and soul into every shot she takes. She truly listens to your ideas and provides hers as well. She literally is the only photographer I have come across to offer canvases that lasts over 100 years!! That is amazing and I cant wait to have mine hanging on my wall to show off! I will forever cherish them and I cant wait to work with her more in the future. This girl is on point and knows exactly what she is doing and I definitely recommend her! <3
