Giselle was truly amazing! From the beginning to the end of the shoot I was comfortable and at ease. Morgan did my hair and makeup and she was just the sweetest. She did a great job in achieving the look I wanted. Then began the maternity photo shoot. Giselle is a pro a what she does and you can tell she is passionate at taking pictures. She was really good in coaching you on how to pose and made you feel fabulous and beautiful the whole time. I highly recommend her for your maternity and family photos! You will not be disappointed.

I do not usually write reviews, however, I felt it was needed for me to share my experience. The experience was bumpy from start to finish. We were rescheduled a few times, communication was poor on the photographers behalf, the edits were mediocre, and we received a blank USB as our final product... I only expected top-notch service for the price I paid for my wifes maternity session. Unfortunately, the service did not match the cost. My wife found a photographer for our newborn pictures who has excellent communication skills, is far more reliable, and provides top-quality products at a fraction of the cost here. I felt like an idiot spending much more for a below average service. My advice to the customers when looking for a photographer is take your time and do their research! Pictures are more than just money spent, they are an investment. I advise all business owners to keep personal matters isolated from business. Using personal matters as the root cause of poor service is a rookie mistake and not something you should share with customers.

I found Giselle on IG using hashtag #njphotographers since I had done a previous shoot with another person and I wasn t happy with my photos so I wanted a new photographer. I reached out to her for dating profile & professional page photos & she responded immediately. I loved her process. We met to discuss my shoot & gave her ideas of what I was looking for. She instantly knew what I wanted. I LOVE that she had an MUA to do my make up & hair, that was so convenient and the MUA was so sweet & professional as well. Photoshoot day, I came unprepared & was feeling a little down. She noticed & she came up with some wonderful ideas. She made my day! Afterwards I was feeling amazing! Like a celebrity & I saw the raw photos, OMG I love them already & can t wait to see the finished product. Invest in yourself & hire a seasoned photographer. Her work speaks volume plus Giselle has a one-stop shop and the experience is by far THE BEST I ve ever had!! I highly recommend her services.

Expectant mamas, GO SEE GISELLE and feel like a goddess! Its my first pregnancy and I wanted to do something special for my husbands birthday by gifting him some gorgeous shots of me and our soon-to-be baby. While he loves the photos, it turned out being more of a gift to me than to him. Like many women I struggle to accept the big changes in my body during pregnancy, but the experience helped me embrace pregnancy in a totally unexpected way. Giselle is a mom and she was able to relate to what I was going through and make me feel totally comfortable. Ive never been one to get professional photos taken, and I have no idea how to pose, but she made me look and feel incredible. She took the time to get to know my style and taste and then suggested a creative vision for our shoot. She took care of the makeup artist, outfits, locations, and poses so there was literally NO possible way I would mess it up. I ended up posting a couple photos on Instagram, which I NEVER thought I would do, but I was so proud of what we had created! Had my newborn photoshoot on February 2022 at Giselle Salazar Photo Studio and theres are no words that can express how happy I am to have found Giselle. At the time of the photoshoot, my baby was already 1 month old (please dont wait that long, at most do it at 2 weeks old). My baby was one of those baby who cry 24/7 for no reason and as a new mom this was super overwhelming. However, Giselle is so professional and motherly; she was able to calm my baby down through the different outfit changes and was able to capture the most beautiful pictures. I loved every minute of working with Giselle for my maternity shoot. I reached out to her to book and to confirm the price I found online. The prices had just recently changed but she honored the old package for my shoot since I had previously seen those prices. From there, I knew Giselle was honest and fair, which is hard to come by these days. Giselle made me feel like a QUEEN for the day. She truly is passionate about her work. Through her energy, you are then motivated to feel and look your best. I had shot some photos with my husband and incredibly shy 2 year old daughter. Giselle is some sort of baby whisperer. My daughter listened to Giselles every direction during the shoot. My daughter even took time to run off the set just to hug her and play with her. It was such a relief because I was sure my daughter would have had a meltdown on set (based on past experiences). I had such a great experience with Giselle. Gisselle was absolutely amazing to work with. I decided to do a newborn photo shoot very last minute and she was easy to contact, print to reply, super thorough with explaining how the session would work and accommodating with my tight request. Once at her studio I was blown away seeing her interact with my little one. She was very patient with my baby and knew right away what she needed to be soothed. We had such a wonderful time with our son s 1st birthday and cake smash photohoot. He loved Giselle and her artistic eye was evident when she sent us the photo reel. I decided I wanted to do a newborn shoot for my little one last minute. When I contacted Giselle, she replied back right away and was able to schedule us that same week. Her studio is very clean and neat. I was very worried about doing this during a pandemic but she followed the strict CDC guidelines - checking out temperatures when we walked in, and frequently using hand sanitizer and washing hands during the shoot - giving me and my family a great sense of relief. As for her work, I was very impressed at how easily she calmed my baby. She was very patient with the baby and provided so many adorable poses and backgrounds. I saw our pictures and they turned out even more amazing than I hoped they were going to be. Giselle is very professional, friendly, and her work is great. I would go back to her for other photography shoots for my family I m the future.

First off, Photos were good on the whole -she does a good job with baby.. below-par job with group pics.. but two negatives: 1. When I asked to correct few photos that were too bright ( my blue shirt looked plain white!) - she seemed offended and said thats above and beyond what I paid for! really ?? 2. The resolution she provides is 2 Mega Pixels - same as the very first iPhone! The max resolution you can get is 5 MP and you have to pay 250$ extra for 5MP- laughable! - Even in this age of dirt cheap storage - she says taking photos with high resolution wastes here storage space!!! - (I waited to write this review until I printed in large format - As I feared, I can see the the print is pixelated - standing 2 feet from it! ) She claimed she is Professional & very educated about the products. Les see . She said 5MP prints very well even at 20x30 - but I couldnt find a single online photo lab that says it even meets minimum requirement ! OK, I accept she has more experience with printing than me but NOT more than photo print labs right? All I said was that nationphotolabs.com (where I print) says it doesn t meet minimum requirement. If she was Professional , she should just address my concern - instead, she really became upset and turned very rude to me and said I have not paid her to answer these questions, could just take my money back, if I don t like what am getting!! ( I would have donee that! but these are newborn photos - I can t redo it at 2months age!) So, If u want good response from her, you have to blindly take the word of Giselle The professional & very educated about products , over every expert online, or you risk seriously offending her! (Fun fact about Very educated about products! . She didnt seem to know the resolution of her photos first up, kept saying its enough for prints. I had to ask 6-7 times to get it!. I guess she was just trying to hide it, or worse might have googled how to find resolution of my photos.. ) Bottomline - it s encounters such as these that you could show your customers how great or bad you are . Sadly it was the bad for Giselle the professional

I am so happy we decided to book our daughters 1st birthday photoshoot with Giselle! We had high expectations going in (as she was recommended by a friend) and even those were far exceeded. She is a natural not only behind the lens but also with children which is so important for shooting little ones. Our daughter was full of giggles during the photoshoot and it shows in her film. Giselle was not only able to capture some of her adorable gummy smiles but also a number of other funny expressions throughout the session. We will no doubt treasure these photos for a lifetime. I could not be happier with our newborn pictures! Giselle was the whole package. I did plenty of research on photographers in the area and she had exactly the style I was looking for with the right price as well. She was very professional and so good with our baby. It definitely takes a special person to work so well with so many different personalities of newborns when they are only a few days old. She came with adorable buckets, wraps and headbands which we loved and she was super open to all of the inspiration pictures I showed her of shots I wanted to try (they all came out amazing!). She ensured we did pictures outside which I had asked for when I first booked her months prior. She placed my husband and I in positions that were flattering, especially for me, since Im sure most women are not thrilled with their bodies one week after birth. The edited photos are absolutely stunning and I feel confident and beautiful in them. I definitely recommend doing the in-home session for newborn photos. It was so nice to not have to get ourselves and the baby ready and out of the house when she was one week old. We also werent positive what we wanted to wear so we were able to change based on Giselles suggestions. The package she offers is perfect - 30 photos on a USB plus 3 prints as well. Ive worked with Giselle on three different occasions now, and she just continues to WOW me! My first session with Giselle was for my maternity shoot. She was extremely professional and on time (find a reliable photographer is so hard these days). She also recommended a beautiful place for our shoot which yielded amazing pictures. When our baby was born, she also did our newborn session. Giselle is extraordinarily talented when it comes to newborns. She knows how to work with them (she cranks up the heating machine so that babies feel nice and cozy. She also has a white noise machine to sushhhhh the babies to sleep). When it came to the pictures, she had so many outfits, headbands and props, it makes everything so much more exciting! Fast forward a year later, she did our babies cake smash session which turned out looking phenomenal. Giselle helped me stick to my theme and even ordered me a customized backdrop to match my theme that much more! Giselle really eats, sleeps, breaths customer service and really knows how to treat her clients and ultimately the person she is shooting; whether babies, kids, adults, etc. Giselle is an overall very professional and talented photographer whom I would vouch for time after time. I have found a new family photographer in Giselle and will continue booking her for all up my upcoming events!

Before we chose to work with Giselle to capture our sons newborn pictures we first wanted to see her work so we looked at her site and instantly saw the quality, care, and love she poured into every piece of work she completed. We scheduled a call with her and after 30 seconds on the phone we knew she was perfect. Giselle was amazing simply put. She was so thoughtful and careful with our son s pictures and such a great resource throughout our photoshoot. We were able to ask questions about venue setup, lighting options, and even colors to which she was happy to answer and give thoughts from her experience and act as a sounding board for ideas, it was perfect. Giselle was able to capture our son and our family through a spectacular lens and was able to bring to life our love through each frame. The pictures are absolutely stunning. We continue to look at them each day with smiles and tears of joy as it allows us to relive each and every moment again and again. Giselle was so amazing for the entire time we were with her, nearly 3 hours, during which she allowed time for feeds, changes, and even rest. Giselle is truly a professional and her work is awesome ! This was our first newborn photoshoot and we were little hesitant initially considering the distance from our home and our baby was also only few days old at that time. But to our utmost surprise from the time we reached until we left her studio, the whole photoshoot was a pleasant experience for us. We were very much impressed by the way Giselle handled the baby and helped calm her down at times. She was very cooperative during the entire period as we had to take couple of breaks in between. She is truly passionate about her work. Eventually when we received the pics, we were so glad to see each and every picture and our whole effort truly paid off. We would like to definitely recommend Giselle to anyone going for a newborn photoshoot !

I can not express enough how easy Giselle made this shoot for my Fiancé and I. She is easy to work with and produces great work! I LOVED all my shots and it was hard to choose because they all came out so beautiful. I am typically not a person who is comfortable in front of a camera, nor do I like taking pictures especially in a setting where the focus is solely on myself, but Giselle made me feel comfortable and took away my insecurities. I cant thank her enough for capturing my maternity shoot.

We did a photo shoot for our 3 month old with Giselle at her studio and outdoors at liberty state park. The shots by Giselle of our baby and our family were awesome. She was flexible to work around our infants schedule and sleep pattern. Giselle has a good knack of working with babies, to get their attention and make them smile. Highly recommend Giselles services!

Not only were the pictures of our baby girl absolutely perfect but so was the experience! Giselle was amazing and extremely professional. I have worked with Giselle twice, both in her home studio and at my home, and both times we were thrilled with the results. She took extreme care with my newborn and showed incredible patience with my active two year old, even letting him explore her camera so he would feel more comfortable. She went above and beyond to capture every image, and worked with me every step of the way to ensure my ideas were incorporated in the photo session. I would definitely use her again, and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a family and newborn photographer.

Great to work with, she immediately responded to me and very professional, on the day of the shoot was ready for us in her studio, she accommodated my ideas in the shoot, was great with my baby very hands on and was able to calm the baby, I was able to relax while she did the shoot. I being working with Giselle since she first started her wonderful journal... every time my family has an important event in our lives, we have no doubts about whos going to do the wonderful job for the family memories. My daughters maternity, my own maternity session, christmas pictures, and even the summer session we do every year, we travel more than 250 miles from Maryland, just to work with Giselle; I have to say... is worth every penny and every mile we drive to see her. She is horrible and completely unprofessional. She drops clients when she sees fits. A day before she drops us and leaves us stranded because of something came up. Never even had decency to call us. She is a coward and hides behind blocking. I will never recommend her to anyone. Stay far away. Plus theres no contract for a reason so that she can drop clients left and right. Hopefully one day she isnt dropped.

Giselle Salazar far from professional and most of all a scapegoat. We had everything planned over a month ago and suddenly Giselle without warning, reason, or rational cancels and leaves me stranded on my shoot day. Reason she gives - she has something that came up. And she has no heart at all that I was looking forward to this since a whole month. She says she offers comfort to all her clients but by not picking my calls and cancelling the shoot just a day before our special day shows she certainly do provide best customer service. Thanks for nothing Giselle.

Giselle did an amazing job taking my sons newborn pictures. She was extremely gentle and made him feel comfortable the entire time. I have already seen a preview of some of the pictures and they brought tears to my eyes - so beautiful!!
