I think their pizza is one of the best kept secrets!!! Every time we go here the place exceeds our expectations!!!! The portions are always hot and fresh. Such a good atmosphere. If you like authentic Italian dishes, look no farther I have had pizza throughout the entire United States and their 20 inch is always spot on. In my top 15 pizza joints in America, which is crazy .. Lets talk about how AMAZING the food is at this place. I have come back multiple times and LOVE THEM! The service is so kind. I highly recommend their pizza, chicken or shrimp or both fettuccine Alfredo, Their pecan chicken (I forget the name of it) I have been told by a picky family... we all have one... that the pecan dish was really good; so thats an even bigger compliment! My only wish was a rewards points or something for people that frequently visits.

It s okay. I d probably go to Olive Garden instead. The food wasn t amazing. We had the bread basket appetizer and were very disappointed when we tasted the amazing looking bread only to see that it was cold and kind of bland in flavor. Also, the butter was cold and hard, so it was hard to spread it on the bread. Ordering was inconvenient since the menu doesn t have pictures or descriptions for any of the items. I had to quickly google a bunch of different items to see how they looked and picked the Chicken Florentine Pasta based on the pictures i found. The portion was bigger than I expected (there were no portion sizes listed in the menu either), and, while it was mostly pretty good, it had these huge, noodle-like chunks of onions that really messed up the whole thing. I guess it comes down to preference, but i cringed every time I thought i would be biting a creamy, soft pasta noodle and i felt an onion crack in my mouth. I was able to handle it for the first couple of times, but was pretty sick of it by the end of my meal. It s just too much onion. If there were ingredients listed in the menu, at least i would have been aware of what I was getting into when I ordered the pasta. Other than that, the chicken was tasty, the sauce was nice and creamy, and it was alright overall. The people i was eating with ordered Farfalle alla Carbonara and Lasagna, and they seemed to enjoy it. The service was nice. We got attended by a tall, dark skinned guy with short hair, and he periodically checked up on us to see if we were doing good or needed anything. You could tell he was trying, and he was pretty helpful. The place itself was nice, but not mind blowing. The music was nice and quiet and everything was pretty clean, but its hard to get immersed in the environment when half of the walls are curtains and windows that make it feel like an office building. But again, it was nice. Probably as good as it gets for a restaurant that s not a particularly fancy, sit-down restaurant. Overall, not a bad experience. Just not a very remarkable one. Man, those onions were bad, though.

We used Ilarios to cater our wedding and it was amazing! From the experience with Andrew and his staff at the initial meeting and tasting up to the reception, the communication was top notch and friendly. Andrew listened to our thoughts, answered all of our questions, and worked with us every step of the way. The food itself was delicious and all of our guests were very happy! I would definitely recommend eating at Ilarios anytime and also using them if you need catering for any event, big or small!

If you want authentic Italian, then this is the place to be. The pizza is also great. My wife loves the pastaless bowl. I want me a good bowl of Tex Italian. The bread is wonderful and the service is exceptional. They have been around since 2011 so this is no newbie startup. They know what they are doing. Drop on in and taste the difference.

Very disappointed with the food I ordered. A basket of bread, ordered as appetizer was very bland, it needed more time in the oven. The chicken marsala was definitely not worth what I paid for. A thin piece of chicken breast was served for the chicken marsala and the pasta portion was pretty small. For $18 dish; I was expecting bigger portion. Thankfully, the chicken caesar salad was the good thing we had there. Doubt I will go back there.

Went to dinner with my 90yo grandmother and my 5yo granddaughter on a Saturday night. The place was busy and short staffed. Despite that, the service was incredible. The waiter came to us multiple times to apologize for the wait, however, in my opinion the wait was not that bad given the circumstances. The food was great. I ordered eggplant and the outside was super crispy while the inside was perfectly fork tender. The taste didn t disappoint either. It was by far the best I have had in quite sometime. The waitstaff also helped Gram navigate her walker through the crowded restaurant and held the door for us. This is my new favorite Italian place. Oh and the pricing was reasonable with portions big enough that we brought some home.

Unfortunately, the food was subpar. Dried out very tiny breaded chicken hockey puck served with more sauce than noodles or chicken, $1 a piece for a crescent roll with some olive oil in a plastic ramekin, meat sauce was just a meatball smashed and no actual sauce was in it, all the entrees were tasteless, rubbery, and overcooked. Service was average. No fresh parm cheese or cracked pepper at an Italian restaurant. They have a one page menu with only prices and names and you have to stare at your phone with tiny print to read whats in everything. Used to be good before Covid. Wont be returning.

The only Italian restaurant Kyle will ever need! The staff is knowledgeable and attentive while being courteous and down-to-Earth. As a big guy with a big appetite, I appreciate that I can get a full meal with the build your own menu options WITH leftovers to take home. The interior is akin to fine dining but the vibe is local and the prices are fair. With cozy outdoor seating, Ilarios also serves as a great date spot!

This place is hit or miss. Ive eaten at the restaurant and had take out. Some of the staff are very friendly while other visits Ive experienced the exact opposite complete including having to ask for utensils, received the entree but no salad or bread and getting the salt and pepper from a nearby table. Atmosphere/ambiance could greatly improve.

I wish the people here cared more about what they do. It really reflects in the quality of what they serve. We ve had watery sauce on pasta that should have some thickness to it multiple times, chicken not cooked all the way through, dirt in the salad, and they always seem to forget important things like the bread with the meal, napkins, and eating utensils. The pecan crusted Tilapia was phenomenal as was the creamy jalapeño pasta. I will order this again and again. We also loved the toasted ravioli appetizer. The bread is really over the top delicious. Ordered a margherita pizza, kids chicken Alfredo, kids shrimp Alfredo, mozzarella stick and cannoli. I wanted to order a wide variety of items since it was going to be for my family and that way I can get a broad taste of what their menu had to offer. My boyfriend went inside to pick up the food and the pickup counter is not in the front. He walked in and the girls just started at him and didn t ask him what he needed. He had to wonder around until some nice gentleman asked how he could help and the pickup counter was in the very back. I will say I was very disappointed with the cannolis as they are not real cannolis. They are only filled with whip cream and drizzled in chocolate; complete waste of $7. The mozzarella sticks were not good either; they were very rubbery and Sonic s are much better. The shrimp Alfredo was the best part of this meal and my daughter loved it; it had a great flavor. The shrimp was an extra $1. Tbe margherita pizza was not that good either. Tasted very plain and the tomatoes tasted a day old. They could have added a bit more sauce or a taste sauce like Kyle pizza co does. If I do come back it will only be for the shrimp Alfredo 10/10!

Foods was excellent as always. One server, who was new, was quite sweet & personable. The other server, who appeared to be training the other one, was quite nasty when I asked about the bread. The bread did not seem to be the same bread I have had there in the past & I asked if they had changed the bread they serve. She said not to her knowledge, then snapped I can take it back if you dont like it. I said that that was neither the case nor the point. I simply wanted to know if they were serving different bread. Incredible Food! One of the best pastas Ive ever had. Had the Meateor Pasta.... Ordered the Healthy Choice pasta ($18) @ 9:10pm (50mins before close). First taste--highly over-seasoned. Its like the chef meant to sprinkle a bit of pepper and the top accidentally pops off. It was so unbearable that I had to wash it down with water with every 1-2 bites. I ate the shrimp and baby tomatoes, but I couldnt finish the pasta because of the high sodium and pepper content. I didnt want to be that guy who sends their food back because I always fear the chef will either spit in the food or do something unsanitary. Waitress was nice and attentive, although she may not have passed the message to the chef about my comment. Otherwise, he/she/they would have come out to address it. Reasons could be inattention to detail, kitchen almost closing and chef was rushing, or bad recipe. I was expecting at most oil and a light sauce, but this was heavy in spices and salts. Would not recommend if you are going for a light vegetarian pasta.

I have tried this place 3 times and each time I am very disappointed. This is one of the WORST Italian places I have ever been. Please never eat here save your money. I was hoping there was a good Italian place close to me. I don t see how they have such good reviews if they are awful. It was my first time here and the food and service didnt let me down. I had the chicken parm which came with a fresh garden salad and a homemade roll. My friend had the chicken fettuccine which also came with a homemade roll. Both dishes were delicious!!! Before we left, I ordered the baked lasagna and fettuccine alfredo for my mom and daughter. My wife and i tried this Italian restaurant in Kyle after seeing it fairly busy. It was around 7 p.m. on Friday night, so pretty prime time for dinner. Our waiter, Shawn, was the high-light of our experience. We ordered the bread basket as an appetizer, it was cold and stale, it also lacked flavor. I had the Meateor pasta and my wife had spaghetti with meatballs for a main dish. The ranch dressing that came with the salad had very good flavor, it was a bit runnier than I would prefer, but the flavor carried it. Unfortunately, thats the only positive thing I can say about the food. The meateor came out cold and wouldnt have killed any dinosaurs, while my wifes dish came out piping hot. She had to wade through the puddle of marinara sauce to find noodles and said the flavor was okay. Meanwhile, I had what amounted to a whole over-cooked chicken drowning in vodka sauce, liberally topped with under-cooked onions and pasta. I wont repeat my visit, it wasnt the worst Italian, but fifteen minutes down the road takes me to Olive Garden, which beats Ilarios hands down. Maybe try the pizza, a lot of people seemed to have that.

Okay food, basic atmosphere, and friendly service. This was our first time visiting this establishment with no desire for a second. The first thing we noticed when we arrived is that the menus had prices, but no descriptions. It seems there is a QR code on the menu to pull up details. This was an issue for us because inside the restaurant there was no cell service. We asked the waitstaff for descriptions but found them not very knowledgeable on the menu (but they were friendly). We started with an appetizer of Calamari, which was the best part of our meal. For a main course we ordered the Chicken Parmigiana and Chicken Cremora. As a starter my wife ordered the baked potato soup, which she said was okay. I ordered a Caeser salad, and was brought a garden salad, which was very basic. Also when I ordered the Chicken Cremora I wanted it on spaghetti pasta, but it was served on fettuccine. The chicken on both plates was woefully undersized for the amount of pasta. The roll that was served with the meal was very dense and seemed undercooked in the center. When the bill arrived I noticed that even though we were told that the calamari came with both ranch and marinara we were actually charged for the marinara. For the price we were disappointed all around with our visit to Ilarios Italian Cuisine. They also have catering, and that may be their forte because it felt like our meal came from a buffet.

We shouldve never reminded him because, honestly, the worst Mimosas Ive had by far. Second time hear at llarios this time with a review. What I notice was many cut backs that I will not mention 1) That no class of setting a roll in the bowl of sauce can get your fingers messy! What happen to the basket full of rolls. Cut back! This is the only one that that I will mention. First time here, and it will be the last. I do not recommend this spot. The bread was cold and had no flavor. The salad was the best part of my meal. I had the spaghetti. There was way too much sauce, not enough spaghetti noodles. I ordered a to go meal, and that was completely messed up. There was very little meat in the lasagna. Cute little place right next to HEB. The food was surprisingly good, the bread was delicious, and the wait staff were all super pleasant, especially Luke. Luke was a fantastic waiter and incredibly fun to talk to. Also, the to-go bowls are awesome, I was legitimately surprised at how nice they are, and talked for probably way too long about that. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

Look, I love pizza through and through. Hands down my favorite pie With that said, I hate I m writing this. . I was disappointed in my last order. I usually order a 12 cheese pizza with green olives (judge if you will) and it s usually perfection. However, this last time ..they added sooooooooooo much cheese I actually choked a few times, crazy, lol. I ended up deconstructing my pizza and that ruined it for me, of course I ate it tho (minus the cheese, sorry). I will say, I d rather order a pizza with NO cheese, than what I got. It might ve been a bad day or a different cook, either way because of this, I won t order again. I seriously don t want to go through that again. I really wish I had taken a pic tho. My bad.

This was our first time back for awhile since they changed ownership. Right after the change things werent as good, but we were pleasantly surprised to find out that Ilarios has returned to its previous excellence. The servers were quick and attentive. The food was excellent. They even brought out a bowl of the creamy jalapeño sauce for me to try before deciding on my order! The servings were generous, but not ridiculous. My only complaint would be that its always cold in this restaurant. I imagine thats because the cooks are trying to stay comfortable because its a small space with an open kitchen. So Id recommend bringing a jacket. (There was a young lady there with a blanket. I was jealous!)

The service and atmosphere were great. Food is on par with Olive Garden. We had chicken parm and shrimp alfredo. The chicken was a little smaller than I would have liked. I ordered chicken fettuccine alfredo. The presentation itself was nice. The sauce was seasoned so much it no longer tasted like alfredo. My biggest complaint is it tasted more than room temperature like they heated up something refrigerated. This is a huge no-no. Went in for lunch because I saw online they made a carbonara dish. Service was great. Fried mushroom appetizer was delicious. Really disappointed in what the menu called a carbonara - it was not made with egg yolk, pecorino, and guanciale - but rather with cream, ham, peas, and mushrooms. The wife and I moved to Kyle last April and finally stopped in to Ilarios for lunch. The atmosphere is relaxed and homie. The food was good, with large portions and balanced flavors. Its not going to change your life, but its good food. The surprise for me was the service. I spent twenty years in the service industry and these days especially its very rare to come across fantastic service. Ruben was stellar. What really stood out, and this may sound silly, but the hostesses (one of the hardest jobs in a restaurant to be great at) who were both highschool aged, would descend on a dirty table like trained ninjas and have it cleared and reset immediately. They even came by once and pre-bussed plates from my table. Everyone was just very attentive and despite the relaxed vibe everyone was still working and focusing on making sure the job was getting done and it did not go unnoticed. We will definitely be back. Next time Ill remember to take more shots of the food.

They were excellent hosts and the food was such a hit that wedding guests were still talking about it during the reception the following night. I ve eaten at Illarios multiple times in my decade of living in Kyle. I don t think I ve ever had bad food or bad service. My go to meal is the Pasta Your Way because I can get exactly what I want. My second is Pecan Crusted Chicken with vegetables instead of pasta. Absolutely phenomenal. My mom and I usually split a garden salad. Their made in house dressings are fabulous.
