I m pretty much a regular here and come almost every morning, today I decided to go ahead and use my free medium drink. But for whatever reason they gave me a small, it was only half full, and the taste was off. My taco was also wrong, I ordered migas and I got papas egg and cheese. Ive never had this happen before so I m pretty disappointed I wasted my free drink.

Love this coffee shop. Good space, nice WiFi, good atmosphere. I highly recommend caramel blonde. Coffee is always good if you are a Tea lover they have many republic co Tea flavors. Must try

Really nice seating area and tremendous staff. I would be here every day but the wifi is only 3mbps last I checked so too slow to get work done and the coffee is a little too acidic for my taste, need to add lots of milk. Otherwise a great place to meet up with a friend or chill.

Agree with another poster - the coffee is delicious. BUT they are ALWAYS out of food! Maybe it s a new business thing, but they really need to work on keeping better food supply or at the very least, updating their sign outside advertising food items.

Services was good but literally burned the top of my mouth with my coffee I wanted a hot coffee and got a scorching one that almost gave me 3rd degree burn.. Im a hot coffee drinker even in the summer but this was my first time going and probably last time sadly .. was having high hopes for this place.. oh well.

I ordered 2 large matcha lattes oat milk sugar free vanilla 18+ dollars. My drinks look like milk... Uhhhh I will NOT be going back . Oh yeah and a bean and cheese tacos are 4.50 each. I didnt order one by the way

Coffee is decent. The wait for a simple order of tacos and a latte is significant, especially if there s a car line outside. They do not have a dedicated staff taking care of in-house clientele. The tacos are tiny and lukewarm are a whopping $4.50 each. I do, however, like how bright it is inside and I would come here to work.

Mostly sugary drinks, espresso by itself does not have much flavor and tastes burnt. Drinks are very pricey, however they do have a good selection of energy drinks and slushies if you re into that kind of thing. Would not be my first or even second choice for coffee. Food

Super excited this was opening in Kyle. Just moved from south Austin and the closest one was still far. Really enjoyed a few of their coffee flavors. Went to the one in Kyle a few times. The ordering box at the drive-thru never worked. The annoying Hey yall were not using the box right now, so pull on around caused me to avoid this place often. As you may see from my other reviews, Im a stickler for proper hygiene in food service (and everywhere). Watched the server cough on her hand and wipe her nose on her sleeve several times before passing the payment ipad around. Final straw was when I asked what type of sweetener was in their sugar-free syrup. NO ONE KNEW and not only did they not know, they did not even go look at a label. They just stood there saying they didnt know. WHAT??? Disappointed again.

I don t quite understand this place. We ve gone here 4 times now. The first two times in the drive thru, once inside and one pickup order. 1. They have a drive thru - yes, but you can t actually order at the menu. The recording says to pull up to the window. Which defeats the purpose of having a drive thru. The first time we came here, we waited behind 4 cars before we could actually place our order at the window. 23 mins of waiting before actually able to place the order (couldn t back up because 3 cars were behind us) 2. Every time we have gone the order is wrong. This includes when at the drive thru and order at the window. 3. Drinks are kind of pricey for what you get. 4. Don t try to order online and pickup in their drive thru. We tried that, even with the drinks right behind barista, she said we have to come inside. Not worth it IMO

I certainly wish I had taken note of all your names this morning! I came here to assist a property in my portfolio, and my first order of business was to get the team coffee! What a great experience, the girl with the cool plants shirt helped me at the register. She asked me how I was. Then when I asked back, she took a moment, thanked me for asking, looked me in the eyes and answered. Wow. I was able to pause for a moment and just appreciate that the sincerity, (however quick) it was noticed. Then, the rest of you behind the bar, provided amazing smiles, friendly voices and an inviting environment. To the one who accidently made one of those drinks a large, I wont soon forget that. I know you could have just put it in a medium and been done with it. Thank you Black Rock Coffee Bar!

Went here for the first time today and the young woman behind the counter greeted me very politely and took my sime coffee order. I paid by CC and then she said there was another question... it was the tip question. When I declined a tip her attitude completely changed and was No longer friendly. I and many others arent here to supplement the income of ever person who has a job. I tip many ppl in the world, I just chose not to this time. Does that deserve a complete 180 in attitude? Many other coffee places out there

Got to the drive through at 6:40 pm, there was one car in front of me. No one took their order until 6:55 pm, when I finally pulled up to the window it was 7:01pm and the worker tells me Sorry we re closed !! Like are you serious?? I waited more than 15 minutes so you can tell me finally when I get to the window because you took forever to take the order that you are closed. How convenient. Terrible service!!

You wont be able to talk to your friends due to the head banging punk style music. Barista said talk to the manager to lower the volume. She said she couldnt do it. Coffee high priced and on the greasy spoon level. Get out fast before your ears implode or bring earplugs. They are busy with their loud grinders too and want you, it seems, to use drive through. Manager seems angry at the world. Would make a decent punk club if they had booze and a live band for dancing.

Atmosphere is nice, I like that they have gluten free bagels and serve taco deli tacos. However, the strong smell of coffee doesn t hit you when you walk in. They use the cheap torani syrups instead of the nicer organic monin brand. The mexican mocha is a powder, the coffee isnt strong and my iced mocha latte was very watery. This is more of fast food quality coffee than an actual coffee shop

Cool, modern spot with nice aesthetic and great wall art. Tables and floor were messy with crumbs. None of the staff cleaned or walked through the lobby in the 90+ mins I was there. The internet is throttled per client (e.g. a phone or laptop) to 5Mbps so FYI if you are hoping to do anything that requires faster speeds.

As someone who has worked for Starbucks for multiple years, and continued to go there for at least 10 after that, I have not come across another place that compares to Black Rock. Most coffee shops continuously mess up easy orders, or don t mix the drinks correctly. No bad experiences so far, 4/4.

The service here is impeccable. They are SO sweet and accommodating. I went to over 5 coffee shops and they were the only ones that had pup cups. y all made a doggy mama so happy! I ordered an iced chai latte. It was so light it looked like just milk. I asked to add some more Chai to darken it and add more flavor. They made me a new one instead, where I watched the employee make it by pouring a pre-made sugary mix from a carton into the cup. Its not a real iced Chai latte, its Chai flavored liquid sugar from a box mixed with milk. I ended up throwing it away.

The coffee is ok, the flavors don t feel as strong as other places. Luckily they aren t very sugary. Hot cocoa was decent not overpowering. Mexican Mocha lacked a little bit of flavor was mostly milk heavy. The Blackout was the preferred drink. They have decent chai too. The strawberry smoothie has an interesting after taste, might try a different flavor next time. The only odd thing is they didn t have any food if you come at opening. I asked about it and the girl taking orders said they usually get food around 7-9am. Only once did they have their food available right at opening. So if you re an early bird they may or may not have food available. Which is a bummer, especially if you wanted to grab something to snack on. Staff was friendly and fast.

Seems like a pretty nice place though maybe because they just opened service is slow. I got there at about 5:25AM ordered a single drink and got it at 5:50AM. it wasnt packed but they were serving 1 drink about every 3-5 minutes. It was too late in the day for me to get coffee so I had a delicious strawberry smoothie and it was perfect for our 100+ days!
