My Fiancé and I had the wonderful pleasure of watching That Mexican OT perform live, having a great time and ending our night with some amazing Asada Fries! We got them fully loaded and they were super good. They were packed but still got everyones food out in a timely manner. They are a must have every time I see their truck.! AMAZING! AMAZING! AMAZING!

Honestly best place to get tacos 1000% And the ASADA FRIES OMGGGG. I remember when I first tried them Downtown in their food truck and for them to FINALLY have their own place made me so happy cause I never knew where to find them before!! Not a lot of places here in CC make authentic tacos like they do. Homemade tortillas too. The meat is delicious. Everything is top tier and worth what you re paying for. Reminds me of home in the valley fr. Anyone who says otherwise is a hater!! Thank you Jefe s for your hard work and dedication to being the best!!!

We love this restaurant! Have recommended it over and over. Whenever we have out of town guests, we order 10 of each taco with sides. The actual restaurant is clean, festive, and the staff is wonderful. We are thrilled our neighborhood finally has a street taco establishment! Compliments to the owner, chef, and staff!

The service and food were both great my last visit. Guy taking our order was polite and answered whatever questions we had. Food was excellent. Their loaded asada fries are the best in the city. And they get bonus pts for the music played in the restaurant. Festive atmosphere. Definitely look forward to going back.

The food truck had the windows and back door wide open. There were flies in and out of that trailer. The girl was rude. The food was sitting in a bed of grease. The hot sauce was sitting outside in the 100° heat with old salsa stuck in the nozzles.

Went for the first time to meet up with my friend and she had several other friends there also for a meeting. My husband had placed a to go order and when he went next door his order pager went off. I went up to get his order and went and sat back down with the party I was with. I had no idea what he ordered (he was taking it home to the kids). When he got back he got the fries out and started eating them. Another person in our party said she hadn t received her food still and went to go see what was going on. Apparently they rang the wrong pager and gave me her food. We gave her the tacos we still had in the bag so she was just missing the asada fries. The owner came to our table with our order and wanted to find out what happened. We were telling him they rang our pager but gave us the wrong order and we gave her the tacos but she just needed the asada fries (since my husband had started eating them). He told my husband he had the wrong fries and snatched them away from him. The guy had an ugly attitude and everyone was telling him the girl just needed a new order of fries and us our tacos (that were in his hand). He was still arguing, threw the fries my husband had been eating onto the table in front of me and stormed off. The food was good, but bad service from the owner.

I lust over their Corpito Fries! Im so glad they now had a restaurant now! It just reminds me so much of CA. I cant find anywhere in Corpus that has good Asada Fries until we stumbled upon their food truck a couple years ago. Their tacos and quesadilla is just as good! We havent found anything as good as back home in the CA until now. Its a lot of food for the price. I just about to lose hope... This is now our go to for real street tacos.

I m not sure why this place has a 4.2 on google. Definitely deserves a 4.5 or better. Service great. Food good. Establishment was clean. Agua fresca was delicious. The only complain I have is that the grilled jalapeño they served needs to be grilled longer. The one I got didn t have that black char on it like a true grilled jalapeño would. Other than that I am a satisfied customer. I am definitely coming back.

Not impressed we order 2 orders of Street Tacos Carne Asada and Tacos were filled with ground beef not Asada. Very greasy and cold we could not finish our Tacos. The only item we were satisfied with is the Mexican Soda.

The taste of the tortillas from here took me back. These arent grocery stores flavors in my book. That said, I definitely enjoyed the street tacos and the torta. Great flavors and no complaints. The menu isnt complicated which is a plus and what you get tastes good. They have a green and red house salsa and a few other fixings to add if you want. Service was also great. The restaurant is a little small but it sat plenty on our visit. To get to the restaurant you might have to park in the lot across the road if their lot is full, but its close and not a problem. Overall, its simple, flavorful, and has personality.

IF YOU WANT TO WAIT 40MINUTES FOR COLD TACOS this is the place for YOU ! A single small corn cup took an even longer wait time. Mind you this is not at a busy time. Corn cup we still had to pay for after hour wait. Worst tacos and service. I hope your not the next hungry person who has to wait an hour for tacos.

Tried Jefes for the first time. I went from the 3 leches I saw on Facebook and omg it did not disappoint! It was so good! I ordered some tacos to try and they were actually really tasty! I also got the watermelon lemonade which was refreshing. The place was vibing. Good music, good food, nice staff, the tables were clean. Everything was great! Def going back!

The asada tacos have a good flavor. You have to pay 1.+more for them to sprinkle cheese on your tacos. The tacos were very greasy. The tres leches was delicious. The fries with asada meat was delicious too. Pricey. Had to get my cilantro and onions. 4% up charge for CC use. A lemonade was gonna cost almost $5. Dining for 2 almost $50 (tacos, fries & and 1 cake). They have outside seating. Barn is next door.

Honestly one of my favorite places here in Corpus I am really glad this establishment has opened their own restaurant. Been eating the Corpito fries and quesi tacos a long time since I ate at the food truck. Hoping much success to this business and that more people discover you because you in my opinion are serving much better food than 99% of Mexican food in the area.

These tacos are amazing! I like to try street tacos from a variety of places and these are the best I ve had to date. I had the steak street tacos and the flavor was abundant and the tacos went down so smooth it left me longing for more. I went on Taco Tuesday, where they have a special (5 tacos for $5) and it was well worth the money! I look forward to coming back on a regular basis!

I dont know what is happier , my tastebuds , my eyes , or meeting a new friend. I had not seen the new name until yesterday, so I decided to try it today for lunch. It is small inside ( I have been here thru all of its places), but this is my favorite decor, it is so cute!! Now the food; oh my goodness!! I had the Asada French fries , they were so good , hot , ( to the last bite) I got the smallest size and still had to share with my husband. The queso was very good , not thin, but it stayed smooth , not thick like some quesos get as soon as poured over anything. The meat was cut small , which was nice it was seasoned very well and was easy to eat as it was tender, and I got meat and queso in every bite. It had onions , but they were cooked ,so they did not taste strong as white onions can be. It also had just the right amount . I did tell them to hold the cilantro . My husband had the pastor street tacos , I tasted a bite, and it was very good. Some pastor meat can be greasy , this was not. I met the owner, Sam, and he was very nice and told me about eventually expanding the menu , I am fine with what they have now ,but I look forward to new as well. I am happy to support small businesses this good. Hurry over. Parking: The parking area is small , especially if you are there at a popular time , but I say Park on street or even in HEB parking lot , the food is worth it.

So let me start that I know it was their soft opening but still, the time it took to get plain tacos out was 1 full hour! They only had asada tacos and if you wanted to add avocado or jalapeño it was like another $1.49 extra. We ordered 2 orders of tacos and corn fries (which we got asada fries instead) cool we didn t want to turn it back and wait another hour for it to come out again. The tacos were nicely put in a pool of grease, yes greasy tacos with regular meat, not marinaded or anything plain asada, super soggy and the carne asada fries, well you guessed it greasy!! Soggy fries with cheese and more greasy asada on top. I would never go there again. The people taking the order were nice and friendly.
