Following my doctors appointment, I decided to grab lunch at Paberns Food Truck, a Filipino establishment. The food was delectable and the cooking skills of the chef were impressive. The prices were fair, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a satisfying meal. Make sure to come with an appetite, as the portions are generous. I enjoyed pork adobo with rice, eggrolls, and pancit noodles, which were all absolutely delicious and fulfilled my cravings.

I tried Pabern s Kitchen for the first time and it was really good! I got combo #1 which is their most popular option and I can definitely see why. Also the owner (Bernie) was so nice and such a kind person. She gave me the rundown on what kind of flavor her Taro bubble milk tea was. I ve never even heard of Taro! So good! I will definitely be back for more

I had the combo A for lunch and the food is amazing. This is REAL authentic Filipino food. Bernie the owner is extremely polite and welcoming she s also great at giving recommendations if you ve never had her food! I will be back when I m in Kyle area!

Super great friendly attitude. Will be coming back again with our 60ish friends and family. So healthier delicious than other greasy restaurants Kyle is allowing to come in. Great for vegetarians too. Vegetarian options: Vegetables are fresh NOT FROZEN. Great quality food. Dietary restrictions: We are not allowed too much salt and greasy foods. The lady was too kind to accommodate us (over 60ish group). When we are not driving out of Kyle for healthier foods we come here. All 22 of us. Our group continues to grow. Awesome food. Thank you for the smiles and the sweet greetings. Now that keeps us coming back also. Friendliness.

Arrive at 11am on Saturday, June 10, 2023. Food trailer was locked up no one around. Waited till 12:05 still no one there. Google says they open at 11am. No signs, no body. Drove all the way from Austin for nothing.

While browsing around Google for a new place to go to, I found this gem of a food truck. Decided to get combo B&C, as well as Taro boba. We took the order to go and the car ended up smelling so good I couldnt wait and had to eat it while driving. As a fellow Filipina I cannot wait to come back here! It was so delicious . The owner was so nice and the service was amazing.

Wonderful food experience in Kyle TX. We had the shrimp delight and the lumpia, tons of shrimp and they were massive! Truely a delight . We dipped the lumpia in the broth from the shrimp for an extra tasty treat. Pabern really took great care of us, after we got our food and sat down at a nearby picnic table she came out and checked on us and we had a chat. Great family owned and operated business, they care about their food and their customers. An absolute must, bring your appetite! We ll be back! Oh! We also got a Taro Boba drink and it was amazing. First time trying Taro and it s really good!

We love Paberns Kitchen! We have ordered from there many times and the food is always delicious. Went today and got a couple of family sized platters of Pancit & Lumpia as we have family visiting from out of town. Everyone loved it and we still have plenty left over for tomorrow. Customer service is always excellent as well. If you havent already, youve got to give the food a try. They are conveniently located on Center Street in Kyle.

We were staying in kyle for a job and was about to go home that day, we havent notice this place when we first visited Kyle.. Lamian kaau ang mga pagkaon. the shrimp lover plate was so delicious which she cook in under 15mins..i also ordered the combo with bbq and lumpia then ordered some pancit.. i loved how Ate was so friendly.. definitely coming back.. sa wala pa maka tilaw sa ila mga foods, you guys should check it out..

I was so lucky to have stumbled upon this place by chance. I pulled in one day to get a burger from a different food truck in the same lot, and I looked to my right and found this little gem. It was closed when I arrived, but I came back the next day. Im so happy I came back. First, the food was delicious. Masarap as my Filipino friends say. Sobrang masarap! I ordered the pork adobo plate. It comes with rice and 6 pieces of lumpia. Lumpia is small wraps similar to egg rolls pero (but) I believe these had ground pork inside and seasoning, maybe little carrot. There was also a delicious, colorful dipping sauce for the lumpia. The pork was moist and not too sweet. There was a generous serving of rice. She even poured some of the juice from the pork onto the rice. It was so good. $15 for a pork adobo plate that will fill you up. Not too mahal (expensive). I also ordered two pieces of pork barbecue for $3.50 each. One was spicy and one was original. Both were very tasty and fun to eat kasi (because) theyre on a stick. I really enjoyed the authenticity. Last thing I ordered was a mango smoothie with boba for $7.50. I was not disappointed. There were real mango shavings. The boba was cooked perfectly and tasted so good in such a cold drink. The mango smoothie is a MUST order. There is also a variety of other flavors including avocado. This wouldnt be a proper review if I failed to acknowledge the woman that gave me such an amazing experience. This food truck is owned by a very kind and generous lady named Bernice. She allowed me to practice my Tagalog and tell her a little about my life and experience with her culture. She listened patiently as I spoke and she gave time to appreciate my experience with the Philippines. She made me feel welcome and she gave me advice about my plans to travel there. Im grateful to have met her and enjoyed her food. Even her daughter was kind and complimented my tattoos. I felt welcome here. The world needs more kind people like her. I hope the Kyle community will show her a lot of love, buy her food, and support her business. Its a good investment in the future of Kyle. Just a note, call the number or message her Facebook page to check on hours before you go there. Sometimes the hours seem to vary. Better to call and make sure she is open before you go.

Wow, who knew. Had seen this place driving past, but never stopped. Stopped today. Sooo good. I got Combo-A which includes Chicken Pancit, white rice, and lumpia. The Pancit was not greasy, good amount of chicken and the veggies were so fresh and crispy, great flavor on the rice with more veggies. Crispy lumpia and full of flavor. Large portion, have some for lunch tomorrow! Owner was so friendly, great customer service. I cant wait to go back. A friend and I dined al fresco on a nearby picnic table, admiring the Christmas Lights at Mary Kyle Hartson Park. Parking: We parked at the park and walked over as we planned to admire the Christmas lights. We also got to see Santa Rides in Kyle caravan.

OMG....sooooo good. I decided to try this place out tonight by myself and I am so happy I did! I got the comboB and I had to make a joke with her because she told me it came with egg rolls and I looked at her and told her maam say it right its lumpia and she started laughing funny joke for people that dont understand the difference between egg rolls and lumpia but anyways highly recommend it! cant wait to go back and my kids will be ecstatic that they have avocado boba!

Ive been wanting to try Paberns Kitchen for a while and finally got the chance today. I purchased 3 entrees at $15ea... Ill do my best to describe because this was a spur of the moment decision and I wasnt well versed on the menu. I ordered combo A which I believe was vermicelli noodles w/chicken and veggies, combo C (?) Which was pork skewers, & the special which was beef adobo. All came with a healthy serving of rice and 5 or 6 mini egg rolls. The beef adobo came with regular rice and the other two came with rice w/veggies. It was not fried rice which I would have preferred but more rice with a veggie mix added - peas, carrots, green beans and Lima beans. I ended up adding soy sauce and Franks Redhot Sweet Chili to the rice as well as the vermicelli mix as I found it a little on the bland side. That being said, it was still really good with minor additions. The pork skewers were my least favorite only because the sauce on them reminded me of plain ketchup! The beef adobo was awesome as were the mini egg rolls and dipping sauce. The portion size was huge and could easily serve two. Im a tough critic but overall I give it 4 stars and Ill be back to try other dishes. Keep up the good work great attitude!
