Sadly this restaurant chain appears to have joined others that are cutting costs. I ordered the 22oz porterhouse steak medium rare. The steak was 16oz at best and came out more like medium-well than medium-rare. Waitress was apologetic and put in another order for me and I asked for rare just in case. It came out more like blue rare so they threw it back on for a bit before it was right. Service was great and they were understanding, but I will likely not be returning to any Outbacks going forward. Selling smaller steaks for bigger steak prices doesnt sit well with me.

Came in after my husband returned from a deployment. He LOVES the prime rib. The Kitchen Manager Jose does an amazing job preparing it daily. Devan stopped by the table several times to check on our experience. Crystal made amazing drinks & Barak took great care of us throughout the entire experience including boxing up our food table side! We would recommend Outback any day of the week!

For food id say its okay at best. The onion was awesome but all the main dishes were very underwhelming sadly. The service was amazing, loved the staff if it wasnt for the food and atmosphere Id come back. A couple people were getting kinda frisky next to me and my lady and it was an uncomfortable experience but the staff moved us and helped us out, so not going to complain over a personal anecdotal experience, however others might enjoy the environment more than we did. Tldr food is not great, drinks are fun, service is great. Id say come here for a fun drink and appetizers. Kid-friendliness: Be careful taking kids here, due to above listed reason

Killeen Texas Outback was wonderful to these out-of-town ladies. Devon escorted us to our table with style & laughter. Barry waited on us & answered so many questions with a wonderful & gracious smile. When I asked about an allergy the owner Jordan immediately came to our table and actually researched the ingredients for me. Customer service is top notch for these 3. Oh, and the food was delicious. Highly disappointed with my visit to Outback tonight. It was very unorganized, I would think due to short staff, and a lot of mistakes with our order. We ordered a side and instead of asking us to replace it since they were out, they took it upon themselves to replace it without asking. They also improperly cooked two orders, but luckily the manager corrected one of them. Service was really slow as far as refills and actually getting our order, and when confronted about the other incorrect order, we never received the correct one. I can say it was taken off the receipt though. There s honestly too many things wrong with tonight s visit to state.

Went with my family for a birthday, asked for 2 shark attacks. Got told there was no sharks left, of course we would be upset by this as wed been looking forward to them for weeks. Later as we waited for our food that took forever (mind you the restaurant was mostly empty) we overheard the bartender making fun of us behind our back because we were upset about the titular sharks not being in the shark attack. To top it off one of our house salads wasnt even brought out either till the food came out 45 mins later and we had to ask 4 times for a coke for one of us. Very disappointed and will not be recommending this location again to anyone

Its getting two stars only because our waiter was attentive and polite. I ordered the filet and lobster and the lobster was severely over cooked. The filet was cooked perfectly. Mac and cheese was bland and dry, the French fries were cold and tasteless. My daughter said the baked potato was outstanding and it should be called out back potato house as her steak was over seasoned with pepper and tasted weird (which I can confirm it did). For two meals and $100 it wasnt an experience Ill have again.

Service was fantastic! Great food! Victorias filet was melt in your mouth terrific! We had two loafs of the pumpernickel bread and with the butter it was awesome! Stuffed baked potato was over the top. I highly recommend the margarita sampler. I couldn t decide which one I liked the most. It s been a while since I ate at the Outback, but this trip reminded me of what I d been missing!!! We will be back soon!

My husband & I never being there so will decide to try was on Saturday ,around 5 pm omg!!!! we got incredible service .. her name is D she was amazing ... se was very nice to us , she was so friendly with my son , she brought a toy for him & extra drink for him bc he finished my husband drink on glass cup .. bc my feels like a grown up already, anyways she brought toys to a little girl who was sitting next to us , well my husband made a comment about her & trus me my husband is very hard to impressed ; he was a banquet manager & food industry manager for many years so ... Hes words she is a great waiter, & wich is hard to believe & keep on times . i hope they recognize that sooo, we definitely are coming back she was amazing she asked questions how we like our pasta & every question we had she had a suggestion she was so patient but she very nice & respectful.Not just with us also with other tables she was serving .

Every time I order on uber eats they are always stingy with the extra servings on the baked potato. I asked for extra sour cream and butter and they give me no extra sour cream or butter. When they do give it to me they mix butter with the sour cream and are extremely stingy with these for some reason.

During my time at Outback my waiter,Ahmhad was very understanding about my food allergies and even gave water to my ESA; which has never been ask or done in any of the other restaurants I have been at to. The past few times I have gone to outback have been subpar to say the least and it used to be my go-to restaurant. This particular experience was probably the worst food wise. Waitress was very kind, manager even came out to apologize for the poor food quality however it seems they didn t want to comp food that was barely touched. Items ordered: Bloomin onion + Aussie Cheese fries The bloomin onion wasn t a golden color but more of a dark brown and quite oily compared to other times, tasted like the oil hasn t been changed in week, the fries were the same fries were a brownish color and burnt at the ends and honestly soggy which leads me to believe the cook in the back doesn t understand time management or how to cook to begin with. It s sad really this experience has happened and other times the food were just subpar. The FOH staff have always been great but the food itself is just downhill consistently and for that reason 2/5 Your staff saved you from a one. I hope this business turns around because I ve eaten there since I was a kid and as of right now I have no intentions of returning.

We had the prime rib and it was delicious but a tad grisly (is part of the ribeye so that is life). Tatianna was our server and she was awesome and took great care of us definitely recommend asking to be seated in her section when you dine here. Everything we had was properly prepared and came to the table hot! The cheesy fries were hot and gooey so they were GREAT! The wife had the margarita sampler and only really liked the blackberry one and thought the standard lime one was allright. She hated the mango (but she does not like mango in the first place) and di not like the watermelon. She especially did not like the salt used on the watermelon margarita. All in all I would recommend this particular outback for your steak dining needs. BE FORWARNED their prices are higher than Texas Roadhouse. Vegetarian options: It is a STEAK restaurant so limited vegetarian offerings.

Hands down one of the best outback steakhouse locations I have ever been to. Moses is the manager and a great manager at that. You cannot go wrong eating in this location. The food is fresh the servers are always smiling, they always have a great disposition. Its nice to feel like your servers are actually enjoying what they do and happy to help you. I have never had a negative experience here. So if you are in the mood for a wonderful dining experience and you want to sit down and relax and laugh and enjoy your dinner out, please come to this location it doesnt get better than eating here.I absolutely have to do one more shout-out to Moses, probably the best restaurant manager I have ever met. He seems like he truly likes what he does and that he truly respects and cares about his customers. On top of everything this location is super clean and well kept.The food is some of the best outback food you can get. . We live 35 minutes away from this location and we refuse to go anywhere else. This is our Outback, and our recommendation is you should make it yours.

If I could give zero stars would. Went waited an additional 1hr 30mins for my food after being told it ll be 30 to an hour over. Salmon was burnt on bottom and dry, porterhouse was nasty and cold, my daughters burger was cold with the fries, my nephew said his was ok he was just hungry like the rest of use. Let s not forget the wings they were cooked in old grease look like it and still had the feathers. $125 for garbage on Mothers Day. Food was thrown away cause I won t driving back I was already tired. Talking to somebody about that order wouldn t have been good. This is why I stopped eating there especially to go , but Texas Roadhouse had a delay on online orders until 9:45 and I was trying to eat before than due to work in the morning. If you eat here order in so you can get your order corrected. Never had an issue when dining in just always on togo orders.

We haven t been to Outback Steakhouse in 6 years. Tonight we decided to go back and give it a try again. Service was great no complaints. The people are great! But the restaurant is dirty. The environment felt sticky. I asked for well done steak and they gave me a medium rare but more rare in the center. In that moment I remember why we didn t return back. Great people though! But again the restaurant needs a good deep clean. The floors felt sticky and the tables. I think if you work in food service, cleanness is very important.my humble opinion.

04/30 2022.....Today my husband and I ordered Kingsland Pasta and it was not good at all. We spent $87.00 for NOTHING. My husband ate the meat off the top and didnt like the noodles. Today one of the waiters told my husband and me, they cant honor any free meals because they cost them $25,000 last year. I wouldnt have known that info if it wasnt provided to us. My husband talks to the manager, and asked him What you are saying right now is Outback doesnt care enough to honor a meal? My husband also said, you have all these restaurants around you honoring a meal to the soldiers, and retirees and you are only offering 20% before taxes??? Soldiers have lost their lives and you cant offer one meal a year?? They act like they would have taken a big loss by honoring a free meal . Food was mostly good. Potato was almost cold and a little overdone. Service was mostly good, and possibly the problems were due to the fact I ordered curbside online and dined-in (no way to order online for dine-in and I was trying to save a little time). Caused a little confusion, even though I spoke with the manager on my way to the restaurant. They seemed a little at a loss for who should be waiting on me, but the waitress for my table took care of me after she realized the situation. Was there with my granddaughter. Ordered a sundae for dessert to share with her. It was brought out halfway melted, and they only brought out one spoon. By the time they brought another, ice cream was almost a shake. My son-in-law ordered curbside and picked his food up, but they forgot the Bleu cheese crumbles he paid over $3 for on his salad. He called and asked them to have me bring the crumbles when I took my granddaughter home. They made him a completely new salad. Before I left the restaurant, I asked them to make sure the salad had the Bleu cheese crumbles. They had left them off this salad, too. Im so glad I checked before I left. They brought a tiny cup of crumbles and put it in the bag. Seems like kitchen staff needs to be retrained on how to make the kind of salad my son-in-law orders.

Our family recently dined at Outback Steakhouse and our overall experience was so-so. Unfortunately, the steaks fell short of expectations. They were tough and difficult to cut, which was disappointing. Some can say this might be cause we got medium well. So that s for you to decide. The shrimp was not properly cleaned, which affected the overall enjoyment. Cleanliness is crucial, especially when it comes to seafood. On the bright side, our server was pleasant and friendly. However, there were some hiccups. It took an eternity to get our drinks, and we didn t get refills on the drinks either. In summary, Outback Steakhouse has its hits and misses. We would go back and hope for a better experience the next time.

Its an outback. The staff make this one better though. Super friendly with kids, and not too much hows the food checks. Balanced. Love it. Kid-friendliness: Staff is quick to adjust anything to meet customer needs for children. And the highchairs are actually clean unlike many restaurants around the area.

We went last weekend about 2000 on a Saturday night with our toddler. After seating us and getting our drink orders, host offered to put in food for our toddler so he wouldnt have to wait. Popped in for lunch when my morning errands took longer than expected and had such a great experience start to finish. Was starting to get hangry and definitely impatient when I walked in the door. My waitress was so attentive and made sure I got my coconut shrimp appetizer STAT. The shrimp was good, but it was the sauce that really made it. And my waitress, Crystal. I felt so relaxed and knew I d be taken care of without having to get fussy. I went from hangry to laughing with my waitress before my entree even came. Cobb salad was absolutely delicious. Had enough left over to enjoy it for lunch the next day, too! Will probably ask for Crystal to wait on me again next time, order the same food (maybe add a cocktail though, ha!), because I wouldn t change a thing about my first experience dining at this Outback.
