Food and service was outstanding, I was in there several weeks ago and A/C is leaking thru vents in ceiling and today its even worse, very unsightly and not a good image, FIX the A/C PROBLEM!!!

Hmm well we re do I Start ? Firstly , The biggest nasty thing is they have a rodent issue . RATS . Secondly , behind the building in the back is NEVER clean !! Trash flying around , they treat the back of the building like a dumpster . Employees ALL frequently sit at the back and smoke instead of cleaning it . There also is A crazy ROACH INFESTATION. As well as plumping issues , water leaking into buckets all around the store , steamers leaking and the store uses towels to catch the water from under the steamers & cricket carcasses all over the dining area which the employees often neglect as well , chips always out ! Bathrooms never stocked nor properly cleaned. The sandwhiches come out all difffent ways every time you visit . It s dead silence inside , this place has NO life in it . The employees attitudes are stale even the Managers & GM that is over the store. Drink machine ALWAYS DIRTY & OUT OF DRINKS . The Tea is never good taste old bc employees don t wash the containers daily they let it sit for days .. They do not date the meat that s in the fridge so you never know what s Good & what s old . The FEW Good reviews that they do have from the last month is because of the young lady Tyerica who PERSONALLY ASKED Customers to leave a review in order to help cover up her GM s mistakes & hide the negative reviews. Store often opens up later then they are supposed to , they do not close properly which is why they can NEVER OPEN PROPERLY & ON TIME. It would be VERY WISE to watch them make your sandwhiches, some employees don t even care to use gloves , and will Only make it correct if they feel your eyes on them . I speak from Personal experiences & all info has been confirmed through an employee who still currently works there that I am also close with . Mold is growing behind the bottled drink machine and it s extremely dirty back there !! The owners Blanca & Brad definitely should consider going to do a IN PERSON walk through of there store & watch the cameras daily to better what s been happening for the last couple of months. So before eating here , pray over catching food poisoning , rodent feces that may have contaminated your food , and bacteria that could cause potential health issues if consumed regularly. If I could give negative 0 stars I would ! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE even if it was the last fast food spot on earth.

I ordered my food at the store the guy didnt seem to want to be there, it took almost 30 minutes to get two sandwiches, and when I received my order I left but when I got home, it came to my realization that they gave me two wrong sandwiches, the level of incompetence it take to make/give someone the wrong food is ridiculous, I will never eat here again.

Food is fantastic as always!! The only downside is the wait times are god-awful, not only that but the order wasnt even completely right.. Im pretty sure it was a newer person taking the order, and i understand how training goes, but it might be more efficient if there was someone actually looking over what the newbie was doing. when the people that ordered AFTER us got their food first, I got a little salty, especially since they got 5 or 6 subs when I only got 2. Overall we waited 30+ minutes for 2 measly subs.. Theres a limited time sub similar to a meatball sub, with pepperoni on garlic bread, he rang us up for that, but gave us a meatball sub.

Food is great, however, my order wasnt ready until 25 minutes after the supposed pick-up time. This is fine with me since its nice to see a lot of customers during lunch hours. What turned me off was the bird droppings by one of the doors. It even got on door handles. Even though the door was locked, I still saw a few customers trying to use this door. Imagine a customer touches the handle and then licks his/her hands after eating the food. The restaurant needs to at least put up a BIG visible sign to direct customer to use the other door, AND definitely needs to clean up those bird droppings.

To say that this place has turned into a dumpster fire is an under statement. The restaurant was unclean, garbage over flowed, fly s moving around the restaurant. The employees could barely use the registers, once i received my cups realized there was no ice in the machine. Once they got me ice for my three cups the ice tea s were unlabeled and overly sugared and not tasting right. I went to get my subs and there was no trays. So they put them on their to go boxes, the bread was over toasted but cold and the meat inside was cold. Cheese not even melted but some parts warm. I looked for napkins but there were none in any of the dispensers. Once I asked for some she ripped some scraps from the roll above their sink said its the best I can do. I came because my five year old wanted to go in and it looked empty, there was not even fireman hats for children with no surprise. As this will be my last time attending this place, i hope they figure it out or close it since they can barely stock it.

Door locked, yelled to go to other door, cash only, drink dispenser out, smelled of burned food, no selection of chips, rude staff, almost as if it were a chore to wait on customers. One table of people eating when we walked in. They were friendly but only one person making sandwiches while the other is barking orders. Asked for no mayo. 25 minutes later the two sandwiches were done being made. Mayo is on both sides of the sandwich. No mustard anywhere and the sandwich comes with mustard. Last time there was hair in the food. This place never gets it right and I keep trying. Good luck to anyone trying. This place is awful.

This was my first time at this establishment. The whole experience was pleasant. The food was delicious and the staff was very helpful by assisting me to place my order. Kid-friendliness: The fire fighter theme is appealing to children. It also brought me to consider the role of fire fighters as a critically important profession in society and to appreciate these heroes who put it all on the line daily as a normal course of business. High Five to those HEROES!!!!!

This is a great sandwich shop! The food is always great and the employees are always friendly and helpful. We always get what we order and everything is fresh, and the seating area is always clean. I usually get pretty good service and food here. Today was absolutely ridiculous, when I came into get my online order and they gave me my order as I left I went and looked at the bag. They forgot all my soups, and Mac and cheese when I came into the store to ask for them they said they were all out and would have to heat some up so as I waited I double checked the rest of my order. I got a hook and ladder salad with lots of extra stuff almost $18 was the salad, it was missing everything I paid extra for aswell as it wasn t even chopped or anything. I brought it up to there attention asked it to be remade as the gentleman did so I had to keep telling him to not forget this and also it was like it was all an inconvenience to have to do it. None of it was actually chopped when I went home I had to chop it all myself. Also when the soups were done they were extremely cold so I cooked them when I got home just to make sure no one got sick. While I was there the manager I think her name was Ashley it sounded like there was a catering order that went wrong and she was having to refund the order but she was watching the worker and when he asked for help she kinda blew him off. It was very aggravating when all I wanted was what I ordered and paid for.

TO THE OWNER : Why does it take forever for employees to get paid so they can pay their bills. You constantly playing with people s money and peoples lives. Don t be lazy and have them mailed where they take almost a month to get delivered when you live in Waco and can drop them off. OK so I m a start this by saying that I am a huge Subway fan normally that s the only place I m going if I m going to get a sub sandwich but today I wanted to try something a little different so I stopped at this fire house and I was completely taken back at the fact that the menu looks completely different, and I had no idea what I want it however, the young lady named Ashley was very knowledgeable and very patient with me and I can be a difficult person to deal with when it comes to making selections and she did not rush me to make a decision. She actually walked me through several different sandwiches. Her knowledge of the menu was refreshing compared to some other places I ve been and she was also quite funny and very knowledgeable about football which is a pluse because it s always nice to have a conversation continue and not get that awkward silence once you ve made your order. All in all she made the experience great and the sandwich was pretty freaking good as well all in all five-star experience.

The ladies and gentlemen that work there are all very kind and caring. People need to understand that sometimes we all make mistakes after reading some of these reviews It seems that people want to place the blame on something because they are unhappy. At first the restaurant looks close due to open sign outside not lit up and half the tables inside have their chairs up. Dont even feel like this complaint will be taken seriously. Ordered online, arrived to pick up, informed they are out of products, ask for refund, will only place back on card which I am cool with but they need card to do so. Was told I can call and give all info over phone but I am not comfortable doing so. Have contacted corporate 3 times and still not heard from anyone. Very frustrated and feel as though this is theft at this point.

The food was very good, the customer service was great, the soda machine kept getting issues and the soda did not taste nothing like soda at all. The atmosphere is slightly comfortable but very little spacing between tables and people around you.

Way to hot in here for me but I ate inside anyhow. Sandwich was good . The atmosphere was very quiet an sort of Warm an a lil sour. The ladies working were no very chatty . An I received only 2 smiles from another customer . They were also out of oil an vinegar. Anhow I shall return I still havent had the meatballs sub that I have heard some much praise for . I had a large order. 2 LG subs, 1 medium and small sub. I ordered online which has one pickle on the side during the order process. There were no pickles included. My sons and my sandwich had Swiss cheese on it instead of monterrey jack/provolone. I received the wrong soup order. I paid extra to have bacon in the soup. That was not included. I called the restaurant 2 times and no one picks up the phone.

We are in the day and age when people do not have the balls to go tell you to your face what they think. So, these folks get on Google or yelp and leave a one star review and a picture and cry like a little baby. Here some advice folks, quit being lazy, quit ordering online orders and go to the damn store and make the order so you can visually watch them make your order. Second time I ve ordered online at this location. Both times the sandwiches were missing items I added on when I customized. Additionally, they had no ice for the fountain drinks. Location looked like it was closed both times, AC off, lights off. Definitely not what I m used to at a Firehouse location

I tried The Engineer & Grandson had the kids Turkey and cheese. The reception from the staff was nice as we walked in the door. The cashier was very helpful with our order as well. The place looked closed as we drove up the bldg. The windows were tinted, and no cars were in the parking lot. I was pretty surprised on how clean it was inside. Grandson loved the whole fireman theme too. This was a plus & nice alternative from burgers & Tacos. The only downside was that the air-conditioning was Out and it was pretty toasty in there! But, with a name like FIREHOUSE SUBS...we expected a slightly different experience anyways.

This firehouse sub location is horrible. We walked into no air and the lights off. So I asked if they were open and she said was yeah? I should have known it was going to be down from there. The service is the worst part. I ordered a hot sandwich but it was ice cold. I went to the counter to explain it was freezing cold. She said no. I heated it. After she gave me the sandwich back she left off all the toppings and gave me stale bread. They were so incredibly rude. I m surprised this location is still open. Won t ever be returning.

Worst firehouse sub I ve ever been to. In California I can walk in to ANY firehouse sub and know it s going to be delicious! I prefer them over subway easily. Last week I wish I hadn t, subway was just up a LITTLE further I wish I would ve known. I walked in to FS and the 3 servers behind the counter just stared at us walk in, up to the counter to the person who was working the cash register, and did not say one word to me. No greeting, no inquiry if I ve ever even been here before, nothing just literal blank stares. When the woman behind us with her family was up at the counter the server asked her what she wanted to order and the woman said she still needed a little more time to look at the menu. The server then let out a big *sigh* for the whole establishment to hear and rolled her eyes at her. Being someone who has worked in the customer service industry for almost 20 years, I was disgusted. And the food we received showed that also. Poor presentation, and the food seemed rushed, and not toasted like normal. Horrible representation of the Firehouse Sub brand. Please re train your workers, and take more care/pride in this establishment

While the cashier was polite, two customers came in after my order. Im guessing they were regulars as she had short conversation with both before her and her co worker began on both their orders and served them, which left me waiting an additional wait time for my own order to be done. Ive always loved Firehouse Subs, Subway doesnt stand a chance. They have the best melt in your mouth sandwiches and all fresh ingredients on soft bread with a slight crunch. My wife tried half of my sandwich for the first time yesterday and loved it! Now it has become one of our weekly options for date night during the week.

Ordered online 3 sandwiches alike. Asked for no jalapeños guess what I got? Jalapeños. My aunt said her sandwich had them as well ..I m annoyed. The sandwich is good, but if I ask for something I m paying for, I expect to get just that. Unacceptable. Shouldn t have to pick off something I asked not to be there in the first place.

On my first visit, the service was unfavorable. Granted, I came within 15 minutes of closing, but I had hoped to be greeted and made to feel like they were glad to get a sale within the last hour as opposed to mumbled comments under masks and hearing 2 ladies mention how theyre about to snap and ready to go (verbatims). Surprisingly the gentleman at the register was kind and welcoming and patient... he should be considered for a manager position... not either of the 2 ladies. Kudosto the young man working the cash register tonight! Since I was 1 of 3 customers to show up during the last 15 minutes, I can understand the rush to close and staff being tired. Perhaps customer service will be greater during the daytime (I hope so, but I doubt theyre worth a second try from me).

The 2 African american female workers had a nasty attitude tonight... they acted as if they didnt wanna be at work and serve their customers... as more ppl was coming into the door they was popping and smacking their lips. They closed the bathroom down 2 hours before they close. They were supposedly out of all cheese beside Swiss, no pickles, & no Mac and cheese. The food here is good.. dont get me wrong.. but you gotta have customer service and show ppl they you value them and not just a person who spending money there just so they can get a paycheck.

Third time I ve ordered from there and they messed up every time. I had one good experience and was giving them hope they would redeem themselves, they haven t. Meat was dry in my sandwich, and not everything that was ordered was there. Awful experience and not just one but multiple. I wanted to support being a volunteer firefighter but the food and customer service quality doesn t come close to par. Lost my business unfortunately.
