We had went for Mother s Day. They were out of most of the meat and still charged full price per person. Because they were busy and ran out of food, we could tell they were only bringing out bare minimums when it came to the side dishes. We asked for kimchi twice and after that I gave up. My 6 year old had rice with soy sauce and me and hubby left hungry after a $100 meal. My review is late since I m now going through pics in my gallery, it reminded me of what a disappointment it was.

Great place, great staff. The lunch prices are a bit high compared to similar themed restaurants in the area but the food was good. Did the self barbeque, wish there was unlimited sides with that but its fine

So good! I ve had Korean bbq many times and this place is so good! The lunch specials are amazing- quite pricey for dinner prices but I had enough left overs for dinner so it was like two meals for the price of one! Will definitely be coming back! The kimchi + bulgogi was unmatched. The service was super friendly as well! Loved the energy and music. Made for a friendly atmosphere!

The chicken teriyaki was great and the portion was enough for me to take home for a second dinner. The owner was super energetic and nice. I would HIGHLY recommend you give this place a try.

It was a good experience. I recommend the ribs Dietary restrictions: Several options are available for those with strict cal counts or want carb light options Kid-friendliness: Tight seating and high ceiling so it is not great for screaming kids. Only well-behaved kids can sit and eat without bothering others. There is some ambient noise already.

UPDATED REVIEW: They lowered the price and this time, I believe everything was fair. Lunch is now $19.99, Dinner $29.99. Great meat choices, the amount of food you get, and the quality of meat. Our server Shelby was really nice. She is casual, friendly, yet professional. Their kimchi is the BEST in town in my opinion. I ve tried atleast 4 Korean BBQ places in Killeen area and this one has the best kimchi. We hope to come back!!! Okay.. I ve lived in Koreatown in Los Angeles and tried A LOT of Korean BBQ/Samgyupsal places all over California and in different cities, states, asian countries so I can confidently call myself a Kbbq/Samgyupsal connoisseur. Menu: 3/5 So if you want to do AYCE(all you can eat) korean bbq where you grill your own food, the price per person is $35. You have 14 meat options to grill. In a lot of places I ve been, usually they have 24 options for a much cheaper or same price. I m a bit surprised by how overpriced it is for such a few selection. Also the only seafood option from that 14 meat selection is a baby octopus. Not a lot of people can stomach it. It would be nice if they add shrimp or calamari in the mix. Also, you ONLY get 1pc of Beef Short Rib per person and it s not even that thick beef or big chunk. I cannot justify the price.. but they have ala carte kbbq experience where they just cook the food for you and you will save more money by doing AYCE. FOOD: 5/5 It s very good! I will come back for the food!!! The sides were good. It s spicy, taste authentic. I love the fish cake and OH MY GOD, the kimchi was fire!!! I m picky with my kimchi because they can be a bit acidic but this one is definitely one of the BEST KIMCHI I ve ever had. The bulgogi meat was so good, it wasn t too sweet it was just right!!! The marinated beef was a hit!!! The grill is also non stick and super easy to adjust the heat. They can also change the grill for you very quickly which was a plus!!! May I just add maybe rice paper! but lettuce is also fine which they provide w/ no additional cost. Also flavored soju maybe??? It s good with bbq d meat, TRUST ME. They only have fresh soju. Customer Service: 3/5 The hostesses in the front seemed like they forgot they re at work no lively greeting. Seemed confused or new. I don t need conversations but a simple how are you doing this evening would make the place more welcoming and inviting. Managers should be replaced.. or more team leader training. I heard this lady TWICE, tossed her bosses under the bus to two tables. She s saying how it s new and that the owners are present (which is good) and they re adding pressure to them. I could understand that but come on.. stop complaining, it won t do good to the business. The other manager seemed concerned always checking around if we needed any help. I noticed there are 2 owners last sunday.. and I can give 0 stars to the more chunky owner then I would. I noticed a very uncomfortable interaction with him and one of his staff. Everyone who was there probably heard the whole story by how loud this man was scolding his poor staff about this table of family who wasted a plate of beef ribs. (Dont get too much meat if you cant eat them) It really made us uncomfortable how he s talking to the staff.. bro.. you could ve pulled him aside in the back not in front of people. Do better! Power tripping at its finest BUT theres another owner, a smaller built man who was very calm and was nice to the staff. For that, 5 stars!!! I also have to mention the rockstars during that evening were our waitress Shelby, michael will check on you also and they guy who collects the plates with a cart was very attentive. 5 stars for these rockstars for customer service!!! Because this is the only nice and new kbbq spot in killeen, i guess it reflects the price. The location, ample parking spot also I hope this plaza become the asian spot in killeen. I got the whole experience of KBBQ that I was looking for. Maybe add Kpop songs on the tv also to get the vibes going. I would come back to see improvements as this has so much potential.

Went to eat lunch on a weekday and the place was so clean, our waitress made the day for our visit. She was super nice, attentive and she totally made our 19.99 per person worth it. We tipped her generously for her service! Cant remember her name but she was awesome. Lets get to the food! The food was delicious we chose to do our own bbq and the grills was spotless the beef bulgogi was on point and all the veggies were crisp and clean. They were generous with portions and our waitress never got lost. Will be going here again hands down.

Okay so got seated pretty quickly which was nice, however our server didn t want to be there and made herself very comfy on the table while my wife and I are celebrating our wedding anniversary, she told my wife she d kick her for changing my order to something else I wanted, had been told to wait on more items that came with my very expensive meal, and to top it off the MARU KBBQ option we chose was extremely unseasoned literally the worst $94.00 spent, we left most of our meat go to waste never again will I return.

Do not waste your time on the korean bbq. They only allow one serving of all you can eat premium choice. This is not a traditional korean bqq establishment, just go to austin, or down the street to Ohgane.

Entered the hostesses were nice. I asked about the two hour wait and she told me about 30 minutes. We waited for about 20 outside and came in and asked if we could grab a drink while waiting. She said it wouldn t be much longer, another 30 or so minutes go by we headed back she told us about 10 more minutes so we walked out to charge our phones in the car. We walked back in she cleaned a table for us and asked us to hold on just to be told it wasn t. We were there just under 2 hours before we decided to leave. It seems like it would be ok if there was better organization, and accurate communication. Wasted half of our date night waiting. Disappointing to say the least.

Upon entering, I was taken back by the cleanliness and friendliness of the hostess. As the experience continued, my excitement dwindled. After expressing to my waitress about this being my 1st time at this establishment, I was hoping for suggestions and/or recommendations. Three key moments made me feel differently about my experience: - Inability to substitute items due to wanting to build clientele rather than satisfying the customer. - Small portions of the primary meal. - Having to wait 15 minutes for refresh my drink. It took the manager on duty to accomplish this task. Considering the restaurant has been open for a week (upon writing this), I ll give this place another chance however it will be quite some time before I try again. What a shame.
