I have to admit, finding an authentic Dominican restaurant in Central Texas was a real surprise. Sancocho on Sunday? Yes please. Weve enjoyed everything weve tried, nothing has been disappointing. If youre missing tostones, chicken/goat or mangu get to Killeen TX. And order the empanadas! Well be back.

This place was FANTASTIC!! If you want Caribbean Latino food, this is the best place for it in town. This Dominican restaurant is secretly dominating the Restaurant scene here, do not sleep on this place. Make sure you come with an empty stomach. The portion sizes are great. The prices are fair. The staff is so friendly. And the taste oh the taste, so delicious. They also have fresh juices, I had Passion Fruit, it was so fresh and delicious. Also had the Mangu plate with some Goat on the side, everything tasted like homemade. We will be back! This is one of the handful of hidden gems in Killeen.

The food was great! The food taste pretty good (seasoned) and delicious. It s worth your time and your $. We had los 3 golpe, jugo de parcha y Malta. The picadera it s probably for like 3-4 adults. Overall we will keep coming to this family owned business. Definitely recommend if you re in town for some good food from La Republica Dominicana. A family of 3 ate here today . Kid-friendliness: Family owned restaurant very friendly.

The food is amazing and the portion you get is even better. Most of the time, I eat half and save half for dinner. Sometimes, when Im not too hungry, I will split it with the spouse. Sundays are my favorite because they make sancocho, which is my favorite . I definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone it has a great selection and amazing taste .

So let me start with the food. Freaking amazing. So good. My first time having Dominican food and I loved it. The guy that checked us out was really friendly and was eager to talk about the food available on the line. The restaurant itself could use some work. The floor was sticky, the chairs were hard and uncomfortable. The female staff was no exactly welcoming, no smiles and didnt speak to us. And probably the worse thing was the the roach that quietly trotted the wood beam next to the table where we were eating (he was at eye level). Would I eat here again? More than likely.... But probably for takeout or delivery.
