I chose Ms. Harrell based soley on the online reviews and I was not disappointed. From my first consultation I felt confident that I was at the right place. Ms Harrell was very professional. She listened, take notes and was very upfront with me as to what she was going to do.Rachel the paralegal that I dealt with,was very efficient pleasant and courteous. All my calls were answered and all my concerns were dealt with. The entire staff was always pleasant and professional.Ms Harrell got my sons charges dismissed in a little under three months. Didn t return any of my partner s calls. Called a couple times and they wrote my info down. Even went on the website to fill out a couple forms. Don t let this lawfirm fool you, these people help who they want to apparently and if your job doesn t match up to their criteria , they won t go as far as a call back or a consultation. Discrimination at it s finest and please don t come under here and say you all don t see the name in the files because you aren t going to. I ll take my case and money to a law firm that actually cares.

I retained Mrs. Harrell as my attorney for a misdemeanor charge on 10/13/2023 and in just 4 months my case was DISMISSED During that time, Rachel was efficient in contacting me and requesting all the necessary documents I needed to add to my file to ensure my case was dismissed (proof of anger management completion, proof of individualized counseling, proof of couples counseling, 3 letters of character) A hearing date was scheduled for 1/10/24 which I didn t have to attend and was rescheduled to 2/21/24. My case has been dismissed before this second hearing date. Rachel has been easy to contact via text and email and would send me updates of my case via text in a timely manner. She has answered my questions throughly and has provided useful resources to assist me in this process. I was set up to pay $4500 total, paying $500 a month over the next 9 months, but because my case was dismissed way earlier than I expected, Rachel informed me that Mrs. Harrell would not be charging me any additional fees. I ended paying a total of $2000. I highly recommend Mrs. Harrell s Law Office as they are efficient, dependable, responsive and most importantly, prioritize your case to provide you the best possible outcome. My husband had hit himself in the head and said I did it and I was charged with DV family violence, Samantha was my lawyer and then Ms. Harrell was the one that finalized the deal I never once had to appear in the courthouse or at the proceedings I communicated in the beginning that I would not be taking a plea deal and only accepting it as dismissed and it was dismissed. It took close to a year but it was worth the wait and I don t believe with a public defender I would have gotten it dismissed.. this law office truly fights for you!!! Mrs.Harrell was very professional while handling my cases which included 2x second degree felonies 2x class A misdemeanors and a motion to revoke probation which all ended in the best expected outcome.She answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable of all the process. Very unsatisfied with this law firm. I have requested to speak with Mrs Harrell several times and never received a call ever. Complete waste of 5k and wished I never went with this law firm. I asked what the difference would be between them and public defender an was told theyd be more invested because $$ spent with them and that if case wasnt dismissed for some reason and I did end up doing a plea that they would also get record expunged/sealed and Thats why they charged that amount and were worth the money and reason for cost. That was a lie. I was told after going through all of this and them already having my money and having to wait to finish up probationary period that it would cost another absurd amount to get record expunged/sealed. To top this off the attorney that wasnt very experienced an just trying to get me to take the first horrible offer no longer worked there and neither did the lady who worked at the front office. I would of never spent that amount of $ for this and like I said dont expect anyone to call you back that is an attorney. Felt like just wanted to take the $ an get rid of me an was terrible first offer. Public defender could of relayed to me what the offers were and if I wanted to accept and wouldnt of cost thousands of dollars. I felt lied to and felt like just wanted to do a quick get this client out of the way and also again never received phone call back despite requesting several times. Not to mention even though I finished everything I needed to do for terms of plea I am having issues with jobs running background checks because this hasnt been fixed and is still coming up as initial charge even though thats not what this was plead down to. The probationary period was done with and had zero issues or any other driving infractions. So I am very frustrated having issues with background checks and again was told this would be resolved with record expunged/sealed and was included with this extremely high price point that was paid. Then to go to trial wanted an additional 12k or so, do your self a favor and use public defender until going to trial and definitely Utilize a better attorney office that cares and actually responds to clients. Attorney assigned was extremely green with minimal experience and didnt even work there anymore before could finish this out as well as office lady. In all honesty I feel taken advantage of and should of never spent that amount of money for this poor of service. Theres more but trying to be somewhat nice....

For one overly EXPENSIVE I paid 4000 dollars for a criminal case that I needed taken care of. I hired them back in October of 2021(I believe) They don t fight for you the way they claim they will. The attorney came back to me with 2 of the most generic offers for my type of case. Anyways after letting this law firm go I hired Thomas Seigman in harker heights. Even though I lost all this money with this law firm & They DONT refund per their contract & even though they didn t complete case. I had a zoom consultation and didnt even get to speak to an attorney as that attorney didnt even show up to her zoom meeting. Most people, if they arrive even 5 minutes late to an appointed event get turned away and told to reschedule. Well, after 10 minutes I called the law firm informing them that I was absolutely no longer interested in a law firm that doesnt believe in punctuality and honoring the time of others. If this is in any way a reflection of how they work I will be finding another attorney that actually believes in respecting the time of others. Also, I was i formed that the retainer would be $4,000 for a divorce! Like what on earth!? Way too expensive and to not even show to a meeting. I believe Ill keep my money safely with me lest they disrespect that too.

My attorney was able to get my case dismissed. Although this took longer then I would have liked ( I don t believe this was due to my attorney) I was reassured by Rachael to be patient as my attorney worked to achieve the dismissal. Every question I asked Rachael answered and explained to the best of her ability and if she wasn t sure she documented my question and got back to me with an answer. Rachael kept me informed of the status of my case and now I can move forward with my life and put this completely behind me.

There s not enough good things to saw about Mary Beth Law Firm. Even though an very extend affair due to COVID, I was put at ease by being kept well informed. Ever call and question I had was promptly returned and answered. Ms. Harrell s knowledge of my situation was awesome! She provide the the information I needed to make an informed decision and provided excellent suggestions for a course of action if I was uncertain. Mr. Quincy Hall was introduced early in my case and did a great job explaining any process that was to take place and handled everything in an efficient and professional manner.
