I didnt get food here. I went to a bday party. It was really fun. Im going to go back when theres not an event to see what theyre really like. For the most part the bartenders are great and the music was dancable all night. Good times.

Its always over crowded and if your new to the area the locals definitely know. I paid $9 for a splash of Hennessey and coke. I could lie and say Im not going back but I know Ill end up there because one of my friends in the near future.... I will be taking a bottle with me next time. Have a plan and a DD.

I love this place however it was before the pandemic. If they complied with the Covid regulations Id still want to go. But When I checked it out tonight April 7th NOBODY was wearing a MASK! And it was over capacitated to where you couldnt walk to the bathroom without rubbing on everyone on the way there. I definitely didnt like the idea of eating food around a bunch of people breathing their hot breath all over it so that was a miss. Not to mention the bathroom was atrocious! I had to get up out of there. Obok is awesome but its the pandemic guys. Sanitation, proper face covering and social distancing is a must!

Went there on a Wednesday and got shrimp fried rice and it was HORRIBLE! Rice was overcooked and dry with pea sized shrimp. There were burn and scorch marks all on the rice and vegetables. Then to make matters worse you have to meet a limit of $10 if you are using you card. Complete scam!

The music was okay, a lot of trap music which I was not feeling for the entire night, a little R&B and HipHop would have been nice too. The smoking inside is definitely a no-go for me though, I had to come home shower, wash my hair and wash clothes to remove the smoke scent. I will not return due to the smoke. I realize coming from Washington state, I will have an issue finding a non-smoking establishment. Smh.
