Perfect place for a stranger. If you don t know anyone in town, come get your drink, smoke your cigar, have a little chat with bartender. Slot machines in and you can smoke indoors. Lovely!

This was a great place my granddaughter and I were on a little excursion, we decided to ride to Galveston for the day and we went to a couple bars and this place was just a small little bar and the atmosphere was very good the bartender was extremely nice and the people that were in there were great to it was early do it wasn t very crowded but it was perfect. We r grieving over some passing of close family members so we just wanted to sit and enjoy ourselves and that we did. We even left and came right back to it because we had a little car problem so we needed to sit awhile in a cool place to get our heads together to get home and we went back and played some music and just sat and enjoyed. So I highly recommend this place it was very peaceful and welcoming and very homely.

Oh that place was awesome! We were tourists in Galveston beach and we found the local bar! As a smoker to walk into a bar that has ashtrays with a pure delight! I have no idea what it cost because I did not pay attention but I know whatever I paid it was worth it for the people and the atmosphere and all the fun that we had! From the waitress who served us to every local who chatted with us, they were wonderful! Cheers Gizmo hope to see you again! And I do apologize I just couldnt be bothered to take photos. Just imagine your typical local hole in the wall containing the best people in the world!

I walked into the bar and waited and waited and the bartender Missy saw me sit. She wasnt serving any customers and I asked the manager Carmen who was off work why I couldnt get service. She told me to ask the bartender. The bartender just stared at me and wiped her plastic cup with a napkin and sucked on her straw. Absolute poor customer service.

Its definitely a cool and friendly bar. The staff is far better than most Ive visited. They are tentative and professional. I never feel out of place. Carmen the manager is wonderful and always greet my partner and I with a smile Missy, Wil and other staff members I dont know by their names yet are awesome and they remembers what you like. I rate it a 4.5 moving towards a 5. Thanks Gizmos for being the place to be ourselves and a place to have a good ole time. Oh and I mustnt forget the customers are the bomb to party and socialize with. I found a new home bar.
