The food and atmosphere was good, but service was awful. We were one of two tables in the entire restaurant and my drink sat at the bar for over 20 minutes. Several employees just walked by without any sort of critical thinking as to why a glass of wine was just sitting on the bar. The server was busy talking her coworkers on the other side of the restaurant. I finally had to ask someone else for our check and request that they not charge me for the drink. I think they could do better being as there were more employees working than customers in the restaurant.

I recently visited this restaurant and was extremely disappointed with the cleanliness. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that the place was not well-maintained. The glass door was smudged and dirty, and it only got worse from there. The tables were sticky, and there was visible grime everywhere. It looked like they hadnt been thoroughly cleaned in a long time. The restroom was even worse filthy, with a strong odor, and clearly neglected. It was honestly hard to enjoy my meal with the overall lack of hygiene. This place is in serious need of a deep clean from top to bottom. Until they address these cleanliness issues, I cant recommend it.

Go to any Bar Louie but this one. The service is horrible. I went to eat at the bar, a total of 7 people, I ll say 10 max. I came for lunch. It takes about 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge you and get a menu. They don t even bother to give you eating utensils. Yes the food comes out fast, that s because the cooks are doing their job. But the bartenders and servers, stands around, on the phone, or just talking.

We will not be returning. The service was very slow (many waitstaff on their phones), and we even had to chase down the bartender for our check. The food was nowhere near as good as it has been in the past. We came in for drinks and dessert, and the dessert was overcooked. Crispy donut holes aren t very appetizing. Last, but not least, the bar surface was sticky, the menus had old food on them, and there was a well-eaten chicken wing under the barstool. We didn t find the environment to be clean. Corporate should come out and take a look at how this location s operations are falling behind compared to a year ago.

Sadly came to this bar for a late night bite but was unable to eat due to waiter continuously ignoring my boyfriend and I s presence. Once I got his attention he stated he would be right with us. After dropping another couples drinks off he spoke to a couple sitting right next to us and proceeded to not take our order. I was extremely sadden by this interaction and wish I had the waiters name to alert management of such a disheartening experience. Service was awful! My husband and I came in and the place smelled so bad and we got a server who seems like he was not happy to serve us at all. All the servers were sitting on the restaurant tables and booths talking and laughing while people were waiting to be served. Our server was very dismissive and disengaged. We did not like the atmosphere so we sat outside. The chicken on my meal was so dry I couldn t even eat any of it. This place is so bad and we are sad to say we will never eat here again.

This place used to be one of our favorite places in Katy... The new hamburgers menu is not the best, I miss the bourbon burguer. my last burguer here was soggy and unsalted. But tonight, the worst part was the SLOW service from our waiter - the guy with beautiful nails - we arrived, and after almost 10 min the waiter appeared, then we waited 10 min for a glass of water and a soda. Friendly, efficient bartenders. Great specials on burgers, martinis, wine, and other items, check the website. Plenty of beer options. The food is solid from what Ive had, comes out hot and fresh every time. Its a good spot to duck into and relax for a bit if youre walking in La Centerra. I went here for brunch with 6 other ladies. I got the clucker and was insanely disappointing.. it was extremely thin, dry and barely have chicken. It was nice but service was less than slow. The patio is open and even across the room, it was terribly humid and hot. Tried to order at the bar after 10 minutes of not seeing a server, but the bartender said wed have to keep coming up to the bar to order. When I first came into the restaurant I liked the scenery and the tables and chairs were really nice. I sat down waiting for someone to come to ask me for a drink. After 15 minutes no one comes to me and a waiter passing by completely ignores me and the other waiters were chatting. Then I went to the bar and the bartenders did better and gave me my food and drink. The calamari was delicious and had a spicy kick to it. Then I had to get up to pay for my food because the bartenders were on the other side. They apologized and I paid and left. The food was only the best experience and the bartenders were ok. It s just the waiters need to speed up their service and not be disrespectful and ignore a paying customer. As a waitress my self that would be very unprofessional and would get fired in an instant. I hate to give such a low rating but it s only because I hope the manager and the owner take the advice and train their servers better so that others don t get the same experience that I did.

Lunch time and work time, I needed a spot to sit for a couple of hours that has wifi and a beverage and a place to plug in my laptop. I found it this afternoon in Bar Louie. Clean, open, friendly. Not at all busy at 1 pm on a weekday such that I had a choice of spots to sit and found one with an outlet nearby so I could charge up my phone. Meanwhile, my van is plugged in to a power outlet in the parking garage and charging up that battery. From the lunch special menu, a salad and as much as I would have killed a beer, I stuck with water as Im both working and driving today. Salad was a huge portion and the price was right. Parking: Free parking lot and a parking deck behind.

The bartenders are so rude and shouldn t be working in hospitality. My friend and I went there last night and sat at the bar. We were ignored for about 10 minutes, the bartenders didn t even acknowledge us and just kept walking right past us and serving the people next to us and would COMPLETELY ignore us. Meanwhile dirty water from the AC vent above us was dripping on us and all over the counter. The bar was completely wet to where the menus were sticking to the table. A bartender even came up to remove the menus from DIRECTLY in front of us while still refusing to look us in the eyes or acknowledge us. She noticed the water all over the table and just walked away, I assumed she was going to address the issue but no one ever came back to clean the counter. The bathrooms were really dirty as well with water all over the counter and toilet paper on the ground. Not to mention the faucet literally broke off when my friend was washing her hands It was one of the weirdest experiences. We were so disappointed and ended up leaving and going to another bar because we weren t being served here. We will not be coming back and will be telling everyone to avoid this place as well. We had an amazing server, I cant remember his name, but he saw one of us was vegan and was telling us ways to hack the menu. He informed us that the BUN on the vegan burger isnt vegan itself, which was super disappointing. We have been to Bar Louie multiple times, different locations included, and nobody ever told us this. Why have a vegan burger and make the bun have dairy? Thats more of a corporate issue I guess. But regardless, he was a good server and informed us of the happy hour discount. I am giving Bar Louie 2*s because there specials on gift card purchases are riddled with exceptions to use! I bought $50 in gift cards with a supposed bonus of $15. Well to find out the $15 can NOT be used on happy hour appetizers or on holidays in addition it expires. This only became apparent when I dined there and tried to use at happy hour and they did not accept it! Then on the last day of acceptance I dined there at brunch on Easter for full price food and again NO acceptance. You are only made aware of this after the purchase and if you read the tiny print! I did email the corporate office needless to say NO response! On top of this both of their locations at Sugar Land and Katy are poorly staffed. It took me 30 minutes to get a margarita at the Katy location. Ridiculous. The last time I went to the Sugar Land location the food was greasy and looked thrown together. It took over 30 minutes to get our food and another 35+ minutes to find our server and get our check. This establishment has went down in service and food quality wise plus I feel it is deceptive the way the gift cards are advertised!

This place used to be our go-to. It had great food, polite/prompt service, and good value for your money. However, the last few times weve gone in recent months have been one disappointment after another. Dry chicken in the salad and flatbreads, cold food, wilted/brown lettuce, and boneless wings so overcooked the meat was crunchy. Service has been AWFUL. Our waitress sat in the corner next to the kitchen door on her phone, and we had to ask her to take our order after 20 minutes....we were her ONLY table. Came back after 2 years and im shocked how downhill the place is. Used to be amazing, the food is ok not bad not good. Service is slow and very condescending. I was told to hurry to order my meal lol. I got my appetizers after 15 minutes and then 2 minutes later my main course arrives? How can you eat appetizers without your main course getting cold? floors are filthy and tables are dirty. Took my dessert to go. I wanted to stay and have a few drinks like before, but this place no longer deserves my money. I hope they take to heart my feedback its not to rant but an honest critique. If they dont fix their act they will be closed soon.

Alana, is the bartender at Bar Louie and I came here today for a hamburger which is a Tuesday specials for eight dollars. The service here is simply outstanding and the burger was one of the best burgers I ve had in a long time at a great value. If you need a great lunch, great value and outstanding customer service . Best thing about Baldi is the service bartenders are super friendly super nice it s open till late. That s another plus point food. I would rate it as three couldn t find much selection. If not for the sliders, this would have been a horrible experience. Most of the tables were dirty, including areas on the bar, and the bartender should not be allowed to be a server. We were charged for a buffalo sauce (without being told in advance, he went back and forth about fries coming with the sliders on the brunch menu although it was clearly written on the menu, he asked if I just wanted to pay the regular price and he tried to give us a used to go container and only gave us 1 bag when clearly we were separate (separate checks) and I asked for bags (plural). If I ever return, I hope to never have a repeat experience.

This locations quality had dropped from a few years back. You have the staff asking for identification to confirm if someone is a minor but works in the kitchen. Some staff are taking orders after being told to do so, even though they have been socializing directly in front of us and watched us come in. The outdoors space is no longer staged for couples to sit and socialize. Its dark, gloomy, no longer the space warmers and with male customers that cant handle their liquor seeking to find trouble. They are definitely short staffed, and this place went from a chill spot for couples to now a hang out spot for light weight drinkers that keep getting served.

Everything about this place is mediocre at best. Food over priced and not very good, had the wings and a burger and both were over cooked and not very flavorful. Service is extremely slow and staff were hard to find for refills and needs, they spent most of there time standing around talking to each other the entire time we were there. If l could give zero stars for my experience l would. I am very disappointed. I went to BL on 12/7/23 to pick up my order. The place was empty yet the bar tender and waiter took almost 30 mins to bring my already ready order to me. To make things worse, when l got home, my Salmon had hair in it, like seriously!!! I didnt even call the store because l knew they would not believe me. What a waste of money. Based on this experience l would not recommend this location BL Katy to anyone.

My review is for a very poor service I always receive from your staff. Seriously, no one checks on you after you place that initial order for drinks. We always end up looking for our waiter/bartender when we are ready to get more drinks or food. I was there on Friday and we sat at the empty bar and it took over 20 minutes for our bartender to come up to us and ask if we wanted to order some food after we initially got some drinks and it was after we looked for him and basically waived at him. Food and drinks are good but service is just not there. I have been coming to this location for over two years hoping the service will improve but it doesn t. The only great service I have ever received here was from Josh as he is just amazing.

Food is pretty good we enjoy the burgers, nachos and chicken sandwich. Today Dec 1 at 4:40 PM is our 4th time during the weekday midafternoon and we walked out because nobody came to our table and we waited just about 15min for a waiter that never came. Management needs to have a talk with the staff. We were a table of 4 and this was an inconvenience so we drove to a nearby competitor. We may give it another shot some other time.

I have been here twice. Once last saturday and black friday. Great service both timee. The first time had beer and my cousin had an old fashion. This time I had rock and rita and refular lime margarita. Had the impossible burger with avocado. Super fresh ingredients. The fries are super delicious and crispy. Apologies for not remembering the bartenders names. Great atmosphere. Bathrooms are clean too. Will be back for happy hour soon. My fav place to grab a drink . The beer is COLD! Food and drinks are awesome but our waitress is awful. Drinks and food came on time but she wasn t checking on us. We asked for water and she never brought it. We look over to try to find where she was and there were 4 of the waitstaff hanging out and sitting down in the function room. You can see them through the glass door. I guess they don t think we can see them? No one is walking around checking on the tables in the patio area. Took about 20 minutes before she came and checked on us. The table next to us we re waiting as well and they had to ask someone else to get the same waitress. Awful service!

My husband & I sat at the bar on a Fri night (it was hardly busy). Our bartender, Isaiah, barely acknowledged us, minimum eye contact, zero customer service. When he finally did, he took our drink order & brought it to us. Okay so far, but then he ignored us for 30 minutes. He hardly had 4 customers to tend to, two of which seemed to be people he already knew. When we motioned to him to take our order, it took so long for him to come back that we had already decided we werent going to eat there. He finally comes over & just looks at us to take our order. We said we like to close our tab since weve waited for far too long. He said Im taking your order now, arent I? & I was making drink orders. My husband & I said we just wanted a friendly atmosphere & thats not what were getting. He said ok & proceeded to close our tab. Then he starts to argue with us while I kept saying its fine, you won. To that he says yes, I did win & I will sleep well tonight. I seriously dont even know what to say to that kind of rudeness. We told the manager, Jacob. He said sorry that happened & that was that. After a hard week of work, we just wanted some calm time & that is absolutely the opposite of what we got. We both have worked in the service industry so we know how hard the job is so were always kind, patient, appreciative, & smiling. And always always leave a great tip! This night we didnt & we felt terrible about it, but Isaiah was so combative & rude that he didnt deserve any. We went to another bar close by & we were met with kindness & great customer service. When they heard what had happened to us at Bar Louie, they said theyve heard all kinds of stories about how awful their service is. Honestly, I have no idea how they have a 4 star rating. They mustve not had Isaiah at the bar.

Spacious outdoor patio is always a good sign. Visited this location many times and it s always a delight. Wish we had more bars like this in the Katy area. Great atmosphere for a Friday night. My martini was ice skate rink perfect! My husband enjoyed his old fashioned as well! The pretzels and cheese are a great bar app! My only complaint was I felt like that place needed a bit of a scrub. There was some trash / napkins in the floor and bar was sticky. PLEASE address these 2 issues. Men change kids diapers. You don t provide a changing table. So they are forced to change them on the floor or counter. Ridiculous. #2 - who installed your toilet paper dispensers 1.5 off the ground?!?! Where was the quality control inspector that day? You have to bend down & reach up, to rip off one sheet at a time. Other times, people left paper dangling off & soaking up piss on the floor. Y all didn t recently open. Why haven t these things been noticed & addressed before. Food & rest of the place is great.
