A quick stop you won t regret. very nice scenic place, my friend got an existential crisis because of the view, he said it was unreal. nice to know we have places like this where we live, somewhere to really enjoy our piney woods. Toilets: very clean and maintained

I absolutely love nature and photography I think Ive stopped here four times this month taking my son back and forth quite coffee time for mom,first time ever stopping was in 1996 and it has changed allot and I love it a must stop Toilets: Theres also restroom and vending machines Dog-friendliness: Theres a section for pet stops ,seen pet owners with bags to keep clean Picnic area: Some picnic areas and also an informative booth where you can get information on upcoming events in the area,and theres usually staff available during daytime

Toilets: Extremely clean Dog-friendliness: Theres a dog who is always up there visiting. He comes every day a beautiful German Shepard beefalo who loves kids. He has owners down the hill which he returns home everyday. Picnic area: They have grills shaped in the state of texas. Picnic area is peaceful. spread apart a good distance from one another.

Great place to stop on the road and take a view Playground: there is no playground, plenty of space on the lower level to play, but as it overlooks the hill you might loose anything you throw poorly. Pretty place to stop and see the overlook. Its a great rest area far enough off of the highway so that its more private & pleasant. Toilets: Ive been many times. It has been clean each time. There has always been someone around who works there and looks after it. Dog-friendliness: You could play fetch with the dog without danger of traffic roaring by. Also you could walk around for awhile with your dog on a leash. Picnic area: Nice covered picnic areas

The historical marker tells you one story. But there s nothing like talking to the descendant elders of the people from that time who are still in the region. The story is told slightly differently all in all this place is beautiful.

An unexpected find while out on a family day trip! The view was spectacular! Pictures do not do it justice! The bathrooms are very clean and well maintained! Easy access to vending machines and plenty of benches and tables to rest at. We found a geocache as well while leaving!

Incredible rest stop with an amazing view! Vending machines available, water fountains, super clean roomy restrooms with AC, covered picnic tables, visitor center with lots of free information. Definitely worth a stop if you re in the area. Noticed a RV park being built right down the street! Careful, because you can easily spend longer than anticipated here!

Love s Lookout located near Jacksonville, Texas is a very nice, unexpected rest area. This rest area is very clean with some amazing views. On a clear day you can see over 30 miles. The story about this park is interesting. There is plenty of parking, picnic tables, very clean bathrooms, vending machines, lighting and security. Not to mention amazing views. You can see in my attached photos some of the beautiful scenery but it s not the same. We recommend stopping at this rest area to get out, walk around and if nothing else just to stretch your legs.

There is a really great 25 to 35 mile view across the hills of East Texas from this point just north of Jacksonville on the north bound side of Highway 69. It has changed since my last visit over 15 years ago! There are now a staffed visitor center and very clean restrooms here now, as well as a very nice park atmosphere around the overlook! There are great photo ops and an old Forest service Firetower that will make a great photo as well! Makes a really nice little place to take a break from your drive.

I was glad we stopped at Loves Lookout, it was recommended by a close friend of ours. This rest area was well maintained, I didn t see any trash anywhere. I saw ground crews mowing the glass. The restrooms were clean and air-conditioned. The view was wonderful. An ideal place to stretch your legs.

This place is simply beautiful.My partner brought me here for a visit and I was so enlighted. It is a peaceful place to stop,have a picnic and enjoy the view. There is a information centre aswell as toilets there.The toilets are clean with high ceilings and also are air conditioned (It is a plus when you visit durinh summer time.It can get hot standing outside). There is a vending maching for snack and drinks but are locked up during certain hours of the day.
