As a long term home owner and senior citizen in Dallas, I initially hired this company to replace two foggy windows. After their in-home measurements and estimate, they took a $600 deposit. Before they ordered glass from their supplier, I canceled the order because I learned that my glass issues were under warranty and they would be replaced free by Anderson Windows. Mark, one of the owners and I agreed that their measurement time was worth $100 and he would refund $500. That refund never happened after many texts and phone discussions from Foggy promising to do so. I would not recommend anyone contracting this company as the owner s words and business ethics are not to be trusted. Larry H

The original windows had the grids which made the house look old. The new windows are without grids and modernize and enhance the appearance. Most importantly, the cost was so much less than installing expensive vinal windows. Only replacing the original glass with eglass and leaving the frames intact also looked much more modern and attractive.

We recently purchased a new home and had our inspector identify several foggy windows, which led us to hire FoggyWindowRepair for an inspection and subsequent replacement. Initially, we were impressed enough to replace 33 windows based on their assessment. However, our experience took a turn for the worse post-service. After moving in, we discovered additional foggy windows that were missed in FoggyWindowRepair s initial inspection. Believing in good faith that these were under warranty, I reached out for support, only to be met with a series of delays and excuses. It was only after threatening a bad review that we finally received a response, being told that the delay was due to the workers being on holiday from January 12th to February 16th- a holiday that makes no sense when looking at a calendar. Moreover, the owner claimed that he had personally informed us about these additional foggy windows during his visit a statement that is not only untrue (as he did not personally visit) but also illogical. Why would we choose to replace 33 windows and neglect just 2-3 more? This discrepancy in communication and the lack of responsibility taken by the company are concerning. Additionally, our initial interaction was marred by a pushy sales tactic, suggesting a complete replacement of all windows rather than focusing on the ones identified as problematic. This approach felt overly aggressive and not in line with what we expected from a professional service. The lack of prompt and honest communication, especially regarding warranty work, and the initial hard sell on services we did not necessarily need, have left us disappointed. We hoped for a smooth and transparent transaction with FoggyWindowRepair but were met with excuses and avoidance instead. We cannot recommend their services based on our experience and advise potential customers to seek multiple evaluations and quotes before proceeding with any window replacement or repair work. PLEASE PLEASE AVOID. They have multiple bad reviews on Google and Yelp in addition to complaints against them on the better business bureau website.

The first time we used foggy window glass I gave them a 5; however, when we used them a 2nd time it was like we worked with a different company. They asked for payment up front which should have been a red flag. From then on it it was a disaster, they took months to come out and measure (after repeated calls and texts following up with them. Then months later (after repeated calls and texts from us), they finally came out only to tell us that they had measured one of the windows incorrectly. Months later they finally returned (after a massive amount of us chasing them down). They finished the job; however, on closer inspection there were parts of the windows that were not finished correctly. We tried to get them back to finish but in the end we gave up and found another company to repair the window that was not finished correctly. I was super disappointed with our second experience. I would not recommend Foggy Windows to anyone. It s a shame because they did such good work the first time. Definitely DO NOT PAY THEM UP FRONT!!! Updated 1/8/24

This past winter could feel draft from all the glasses. Last week during low pressure washing the exterior for repainting, found out some window areas leaking. I failed to read the reviews as I was referred by a neighbor, I am guessing they didn t have such a bad experience. I called Mark and got a quick and reasonable quote all over FaceTime. I moved forward with him and he immediately requested half the payment over the phone. I was hesitant but went ahead again due to the referral. Took 4 days for them to come out and measure the window( only had one that needed replacement). After that I was fed excuse after excuse as to why no one was coming out to install. Then I started getting no replies. I had to go off on this guy to get him out here and finish the job. It took the guys literally 10 mins max. The job is okay at best! Keep searching!

Trying to reach out and give them the opportunity to make it right, even if it s just 1 window rather than the agreed 3*** Prompt to come out twice for a quote and to collect half the amount of the quote as a deposit. That was 3 weeks ago. I had to reach out twice on installment and they had the amount of panes to be installed as half of what I was quoted. Now communication has gone cold. Called them out to look at 2 window panes that needed to be replaced. I needed the window panes replaced within a week, the owner, who showed up to do the measurements, said he could get it done 3-4 days. So I agreed on price and gave the deposit of half up front. After calling him twice a week for the next 3 weeks and hearing how he is having growing pains and promises of install this week, I asked for my deposit back. He said he would was going to be in my area that day and would drop off a check in my mailbox. The check was not delivered. Fast forward 22 days, and having to call them 2-3 times a week to see what the status is of my deposit and hearing how he is out of town, or he has to go to the bank to deposit the money (my check was cashed within a couple days of giving it to him) to get it back to me, or how he will Zelle it to me today. I finally received my deposit back today. I would not recommend Foggy Window Repair at all.

They broke windows in my home and never replaced them. As of right now they owe me almost $2,000 and will not take my calls or answer voicemails. This has been going on for over 6 months! This is the shadiest contractor I have ever dealt with! I gave him plenty of time to refund my money and he agreed to 30 days. That expired over 5 months ago. We contracted with Foggy Window Pro to replace 6 windows at our house. The seals in the windows had started to crack due to the southern sun exposure causing the windows to be so cloudy that we could not see out. I thought the windows would have to be replaced.
